Sitting on the floor of her dorm, Phyre looked at all the blocks around her she had always used to make up pretend rooms for her plush toys. As of recently the blocks hadn't been doing it for her, wishing to expand upon her love of designing rooms for her toys. Ever since she had first picked up a block, Phyre the demon and fallen hybrid had always created pretend rooms for her plushies with them. She had always thought that maybe she would be a dollhouse maker, but something about that didn't settle right with her. Was she meant to do something else? Anyhow, today she just wished to upgrade her blocks to something else. Surely there had to be something else she could use to make her plushies rooms to play in.
Looking around her room, she noticed a cardboard box under her bed that had been brought here by her mother Candy when she was first brought here to the academy, going over to her bed and pulling it out. It was the right shape to be used for her plushies, and she could see herself using it. Without any second thought, she dumped out all the clothes that was in the box and began to look for other things she could use. On her desk were paper, crayons, glue, and scissors. Those would work for the project at hand.
With her supplies gathered, Phyre began to make walls and carpet for the box room with the paper and crayons, making sure she had enough before deciding to cut out a door into the box that could be opened and closed. She also decided to cut out two windows, making it so they could be closed as well. With all that done, she began to cut and glue in the wallpaper and carpet, coloring a few more pieces of paper for the door and windows so they too were done too. The hybrid even decided to decorate the outside, using some more paper to make it look like they had siding on them. Now that she had the room done, it was time for furniture.
Phyre looked around her room once more for something to use for furniture, deciding on yet another card board box to cut up and use. She spent hours cutting pieces of cardboard and gluing them together, then using the paper and crayons to add color to them. By the time she was supposed to be long in bed she had finished the perfect room for her plush toys to play in, the little hybrid raising her arms in triumph ", Yes! I have made the perfect room for them!" As she admired her creation, she began to realize she really enjoyed designing and creating rooms, but not for the pleasure of playing with them. She enjoyed simply creating them.
Then a huge idea popped into her head, the freshling looking around her room once more, giving a smirk as she thought of ways to change it. This was it, what she wished to be doing with her life. She didn't want to make toys for her plushies and for other people. Phyre wanted to design rooms! That was why she always spent so much time pretending to create them for her toys, because she was meant to do that, but on a much larger scale!
"I think I have found my calling," Phyre picked up her plushie and gave it a hug, closing her eyes for a moment and letting her imagination run wild. There was so much possibility in just her own room for a makeover. What other rooms were in store for her?!
