Tendaji! It was more then her mind could handle! With pale green eyes wide as saucers, the mocha skinned woman stared around her, turning slowly. They had made it! The trees were different here, even the people were different. Shoving a lock of green hair from her face, Limbree looked towards the earthlings that gathered near the Zeppelins she and the others had come in on. The one that had once been aflame was now out and progress for repairs were on the way. This left her and others to explore the land around them. While she didn't want to stray too far from her ride home, Limbree wanted to see as much as she could.
"I wonder what they have around here." Bree muttered to herself as she stepped towards the large market that laid throughout the town?
It didn't look as extensive as the cities back home, so it had to be a town or village. Things were indeed strange here, without a sign of rails or steam motivated contraptions. How did they get around? Walk? Scratching at her head, one eye closing Bree had to find things out. Find someone who could answer her questions and maybe find some things to tinker with.
Bouncing on her toes, minding to not bounce too high that her short skirt flapped too high, the Gaien headed into the market to look around. She spotted some others of the crew she drifted in with and others from the other zeppelins. There was still a tension, but it was easing, perhaps there was hope yet with making friends? It was a hope!

"What do you think those things really are Nadiya? Do you think they really come across the sea?" Neryssa asked as she pulled a piece of glazed meat off a skewer. "Think Mom would be made if we shipped out without much say?"
Neryssa was a wall spring of questions, to which she had a feeling that her sister couldn't answer. She wondered who they were, what their homeland was like. Were there dancers like here, was their style different? She just had to find out! Staring from her perch on a table, the young Matori watching the new faces roam the market. Her fin like ears flicking slightly to catch the sounds of everything around, even trying to pick up bits of gossip from here and there.
All this was making her itchy to move. To see new places that weren't in Tendaji. Discarding what was left of her meal, there was little to keep her still. The biggest question would be, would she be able to get her things from home before they left? She couldn't leave Lygs behind, who else would watch her back? "Come on, lets see if we can't find someone." Neryssa said tugging at her sister's sleeve.

Nadiya's gaze was still brimming with excitement. After nearly thinking that some beasts were coming from the skies to devour them the crowd had instead found strangers from a new land in their midst. Belrea... That was what she had heard when the two strange women were talking a moment ago. Honestly, the girl was surprised that no one had started a fight or that it seemed so....quiet? Yes the crowd as astir with questions and others were trying to get a good look at the foreigners who were starting to mingle with the natives, but that was all. She had noticed, however, that some had left in quite a hurry. Maybe to warn their homes just in case?
Either way Nadiya was excited! Foreigners, peaceful or not, did make for an interesting story. And knowing that they were welcoming some ofWalkthem onto their ships made her mouth spread even further into a grin. Talk about the stories she could find overseas! No one could match them when she returned and she was certain that the people of Belrea could be entranced by the histories and tales she had hidden up her sleeves!
Walking alongside her sister, Nadiya found her thoughts stumbling to a halt. "I would suppose so." She replied with a nod, "Else wouldn't we have seen such things before? I know the mountains of Zena are treacherous, but I doubt they could have hidden two whole new races with such interesting things from us for so long. And their clothing definitely doesn't seem to come from a colder region." She couldn't help teasing as she remembered how loose their attire seemed to be. It was definitely meant for warmer weather than the bundles of fur she saw on some of the people from Zena.
The next question made Nadiya laugh awkwardly, " I uh don't think she would be pleasantly surprised by the news. Perhaps we'll just have to rely on Ahren to cover our trail again." She flushed lightly. Her poor brother, but what could she do? If their mother found out then Nadiya definitely would be in hot water, especially for taking her younger sibling along! "It's best to just leave in the dark for now. She doesn't need the stress of us flying...." As strange as that thought was. Who would have thought that things could be created for flight? I knew I should have tamed a kinfa a long time ago. At least I'd have a bird to rely on if something crashes on the way!
Nadiya chuckled quietly before moving forward at her sister's urging, "Sounds like a plan. We have to get our tickets anyway." Her gaze scanned the crowds before she noticed one of the girls who had been in the front of the strangers walking around, "She seems interesting enough and was polite when they talked to us earlier. Let's see about introducing ourselves to her?" Without waiting for a true response, Nadiya moved forward and through the crowd in an attempt to wave down the stranger...

So many bodies, so many voices and so much was up for offer here! Bree wondered if all the markets were like this in these lands, so friendly and willing to haggle. Stopping at a stand that sold brightly colored fabrics and accessories. She had thought of picking up something from here and taking it home. Show her parents and brothers that they had made it and such. straightening up and looking away from that one booth, Bree caught sight of two strangers heading her direction.
They certainly weren't like any she had seen before, then again, none of the races here were like any she had ever seen. There were only the Gaiens and Lightenings on Belrea. A grin spreading across her face, Bree headed towards their direction.
"Hello there, friends." That sounded corny, but on the spot, she wasn't too sure what else to call them. Strangers didn't seem too friendly and they were looking to make friends here. So why not start here? Now she was starting to think she was going to make things even more awkward... Lovely.

Her sister did have a point, the Zena mountains could have held up some secrets, but with how these new people dressed it wasn't for the cold weather. Nodding slightly, Neryssa puzzled over the ideas that were laid out. But all the same there are many mysteries with these new faces and it seemed that Nadiya wanted to get to know them all. Neryssa was interested as well, but perhaps not for the same reasons, but who knows. Maybe she could tell their stories through other means then her sister. The idea made the young Matori shiver with excitement, so many ideas her brain was going to explode. When things turned to their family and leaving things to their poor brother. She had to frown a little. The poor guy was always covering for someone, and this time it would be for two of his sisters. "I would think that she would be more at lease knowing that we weren't going alone. You know?" She put out there, thinking it would ease their mother's mind. It wasn't everyday that they could travel on something that flew through the air... That wasn't winged like a bird.. "You really think they would have something like that to ride? From the sounds earlier they didn't think they would make it." Always had to have a bit of a down side to things. If they did need tickets, would they have enough to cover such things? Frowning, her sister spotted one of the two that had been talking to the elders. She was a dark brown in skin tone with that bright pale green hair. Blinking, this was the one she was asking about earlier. Was she really coming towards them to talk? Rather, they were heading towards each other. Perhaps this one did have some things that could be told, anything was possible. Mind spinning again, Neryssa waved towards the woman who called out in their direction. "Hello"Neryssa: post 2

Nadiya pursed her lips thoughtfully, "I suppose she would, but then again I don't know how well she would take to the idea of flying overseas with strangers." The Matori flushed lightly, "May be best to just let her think we're off with Ahren for a bit....I just don't want to fight with her." She admitted sheepishly, "Her health is frail at times and I'm worried that if we excite her then....you know." Nadiya shrugged her shoulders, "But we'll see." She didn't like leaving Ahren alone like this either, but it was true - he was the one rarely home due to moving about Tendaji for trading. And she knew that at least their mother trusted him if no one else.
"Ah, well maybe not." Nadiya blinked, "I suppose I spoke out of habit, but it seemed like they were willing to take people along for free. Especially since its a bit of a risk..." But fear was never something she worried about! That definitely showed as she waved down the strange woman with a large smile, "Hello there!" The bard approached the girl with interest. It was so weird to see someone with such colorings and without crystals! At least this one wasn't tall and intimidating like the alks. "Is it alright if we bother you for a moment? My sister and I are honestly in awe of your arrival and couldn't wait to talk to one of you." Nadiya beamed happily, "My name is Nadiya and I'm a Matori from a country south of here by the great waters. This is my younger sister, Neryssa."

Bree stopped quick as the pair of sisters came towards her. Their clothing was strange, the colors were bright compared to the darker and more toned down browns that she was wearing. One wore a long scarf of a green color, the other, smaller then the other bore a pink sash about her waist. Even their hair styles were different, but it was said to her, that they were sisters.
"I was going to ask if I could have a moment of your time." Bree smiled, a little bit of a giggle escaping her throat. "My name's Limbree, but you can call me Bree if you like, might be easier to say."
There went her mouth again, never ending babble and chatter. Sometimes she just had to slap herself on the forehead to stop. Like there had been something wrong with her since she was born. Still, these two wanted a moment of her time and she wanted a moment of there. so things were working out... Right?
"Matori huh? By the great waters. I think we might have passed over a bit of it." She tried thinking back to the first sighting of land. "But I am getting a head of myself, It is a pleasure meeting the both of you, Nadiya and Neryssa.. Was it?" She looked between the sister again.

Neryssa circled the stranger when they were close enough, she wanted to get a better look at their clothing. This one seemed to wear clothing that was a tad revealing. Shesh, did some have no modesty? Still, she had to wonder of their looks and where were her crystals? Were they like the Matori in some ways? "It seems we all had the same idea." Naryssa gave a giggle as she settled in beside her sister. "Do all your people dress like you do?"Right out the box, Neryssa starts in with the questions without even thinking her sister had some of her own. She wanted to know everything and hoped that it would lead up to being able to travel with these new people. The thrill was getting to be almost too much for the young Matori that she wished she could go now..

"Perfect! I guess we can share moments together then." Nadiya grinned as she moved closer to the stranger, "Nice to meet you, Bree." If anyone ever gave the girl a nickname then she was always certain to use it - especially if it seemed fun to say like Bree. Nadiya blinked, "You did? Then I'm certain there's others in Matori who are thinking some monster came from the skies to attack." She laughed, "Hopefully you weren't seen though just yet else we may have an army rushing up here."
It was a light playful tease that she hoped the other girl didn't take too seriously.
"D-dress?" Nadiya's gaze widened as she glanced to her sister, "Neryssa." Yet she was grinning herself. It was true - the other girl's outfit did catch her eye and so had what some of the others were wearing, "Though if so we might need to go shopping in this new country." The bard smiled, "Which is another reason we uh might be here. Looking for volunteers to take a ride across the waters?"

Limbree tried to follow the movements of the younger of the sisters. She seemed to be looking her over? Blinking a little, Bree looked back to the elder and smiled, well this wasn't awkward in the least.. The question about how she was dressed this was one thing she never thought she would be asked.
"Well... There are many different styles of clothing..." She looked at the two and how they were dressed.
"Anyways, I don't think anyone from your homeland saw us. I didn't see anyone when we passed over. Just trees and stuff." She said trying to be reassuring, "So I am sure there won't be an army rushing here to see what happened." Though she hoped she was right, these people were the first everyone had seen the whole trip.
Looking around the market, Bree hoped that they wouldn't be leaving too soon. She wanted to hear stories and see what there was to buy. Hopefully their money was the same as her own... Shaking her head she looked back to the sisters. One had asked about traveling back with them?
"I am sure there will be a lot that will want to go with us. Who wouldn't?" She grinned, "I can say this, when the Zeppelins are ready to go, you are welcome to come. I assume that the both of you want to come right?" Bree looked between the sisters.

"What? It was a question we both were wondering, why not just get it out there?" Naryssa said innocently, even if she were far from it. "Besides, we should know the fashions. What's in and what's not, really Nadiya, we go there and we're going to stand out." Not that just their skin coloration and stuff wouldn't make them stand out. Pulling at her own hair a little in a way of fidgeting, she looked from Bree and her own sister. Things were going to get more exciting and she wanted to know more. What were the dance styles like, what the music was like. Though she still thought her sister's was still the best. "Of course I want to go. I just hope I can make it home to get something before you all leave. Something I shouldn't have left in the first place. But Nyl and Nylo said they would take great care of it." She fussed thinking of Lygs, why had she agreed to leave him home. "Maybe I can borrow a fast mount or something if I need to."

"Interesting clothing." Teased Nadiya lightly, "I'm excited to see what your homeland has to offer. I'm a collector of stories so anything new and exciting is a definite for me. Of course I need to join the trip and see this place!" The Matori waved a hand, "Don't worry I was just teasin'. It's a habit of mine to play around with others so not even I believed that would really be the case."
She placed a hand on Neryssa's shoulder, "Well we probably will stand out even with matching clothing." She joked lightly, "Unless they have more races over there that resemble us." Even in Tendaji her people truly stood out. The rest seemed similar with their gems, save for the Alkidikes of course, while the Matori were just the Matori.
"We can get you a Xaraan or a Kinfa perhaps." Commented Nadiya after a thoughtful pause, "Ahren's Xaraan is quick so I would recommend taking her. If Limbree thinks you have a couple of days of course." Nadiya glanced towards the stranger with a small smile, "What do you think?"

Limbree had to smile at the sisters as they talked to each other in a manner that she did with her brothers sometimes. Though her brothers were more the fist to face kind of brothers. Rough and tumble when they weren't hard at work with the fields. Thinking back now, she didn't know how she even managed to truly get this far. She was a mere tinker, or sorts. "The only race that I know of back home are the Lightning, the ones that also arrived on the Zeppelins. Unless they are hidden in a really remote part of the island. Who knows." She gave a slight shrug.
"You travel with us, and I am sure that there will be more then enough stories. I would love to hear some about this land. Its people and everything else." She spun around as she said it, looking around at those around her. "The most of those I came with are interested in getting back home. If I could, I would remain here, but I have to get back and such like that." She was downhearted that she couldn't stay longer then she had. Bree had to be on the Zeppelin when it took off back for Belrea, to get back home.
"I imagine you have time. It will take a bit to get the engine back together and get something to fuel it." Bree cast a glace back towards the area the Zeppelins had landed. "If all works out, should take a week or so. But it will all depend on how fast they get it back together and that stuff is tricky to handle."
She wasn't all too certain on how fast those working would get things tweaked and back to running conditions. A week might have been stretching it, but it was a good base time. At least that was what she thought, time would tell. "If there is much you want to get from home, I would leave soon to get it. I know I had to scramble when I was told when the Zeppelins were to be launched. Nearly missed them." She grinned sheepishly, that would have been something, missing the great flight because she slept too long. Yea... Not something she was going to mention.

"We'll be worse then a sore thumb, like always." Neryssa muttered looking around them, everyone was moving on with their business. Mingling with others from the Zeppelins. "I'll have to ask Ahren if I can borrow his Xaraan. And hopefully get back before everyone leaves."Neryssa hadn't really been listening to Bree as she was more worried about getting home and picking up things. why did she leave such important things like Lygs home? Of all times! Guess that was karma for ya, think everything will be fine and things go crazy. Staring off into the distance, her mind wandered to other things. What else did she need to pack for this trip? More imoportantly, what was her, their, family going to say?

"Interestin'." Nadiya grinned. She was also curious to see what these lightning people were like! Just seeing the one orange haired girl had gotten her attention. Talk about exciting! The last time strangers had arrived they had been seen as monsters for hiding, but now this time it seemed that they had met a friendly race full of energy and knowledge. Definitely her type of people.
Nadiya nodded with a grin, "Then you definitely wanna take us along. Stories are my profession so I can fill your head with all the information you'll ever desire." She winked a playfully towards the girl before looking at her sister, "I'll make certain they don't leave without you Neryssa. So as soon as we are done here run to Ahren. His Xaraan is quick and is used to taking the shorter paths home." Not many would take those due to the cliffs, but that Xaraan was smart. Their caravan never could cut through, but Ahren alone? He had cut through some pretty narrow paths a few times before.
"And if you could grab some blank journals for me. I'm going to need them so I can record all the stories we'll be grabbing." She added with a grin before glancing back to Limbree, "So do you like music?"
