Oh, I'm a hot commodity.

Laini thought to herself as she saw the white pelt of another come into view just moments after Krisis left. The white pelt belonged to none other than the daughter to the Icala`phatha, Muhuri`hatma. The markings were what came across as familiar, Sabia`nafsi had always been weary of the cub, from what Laini could recall, and so the cub had become a little more known - not for good reason though.

"What can I do for you today, Muhuri?" The weaver offered. Before her laid a number of half started items that were in the process of being finished. No others had taken to the art of weaving like she had, not yet. So she was getting in as much as practice as she possibly could. Plus she simply enjoyed the task. "Is everything alright?" She asked, watching as crimson eyes narrowed slightly. Laini wasn't as concerned as she sounded, since rumor had it that Muhuri was tracking down any lioness that had interacted with Tethys - Laini most certainly had.

Muhuri`hatma had begun to do her homework, her mother was fairly easy on her this time around, but if she couldn't produce something else to go with it. So that was her goals for the next couple days. Slowly but surely she had gathered up a couple names, names that had her wondering for the Gods realm, but alas those beings did as they pleased when they pleased. Fortunately she was a friend to Krisis - so she could at least speak with her.

"What you can do for me is settle a rumor.." The lioness stated plainly. She wasn't here to attack, not here to lecture. She simply needed to know for the purposes of who to let know about the terms of Tethys' having been here. She sighed softly, thinking of the brief conversation she had had with him. It felt as though that were many moons ago, though this all seemed to happen within the same moon. It was alarming how quickly things could come about.

"Were you with him?" Crimson eyes didn't ever stray from the lioness, even as Muhuri seated herself outside of Lainis little space. "I need to know if sex was involved." Blunt, the one thing that often reminded individuals of who her mother was. Muhuri herself may be a huntress, but she'd been around her mother since she was young - it took it's toll on her social skills.

So even Muhuri realized the rumors, not mentioning the name itself seemed to give that away. "Yes." Laini answered simply, green eyes staring at the weaving she was working on. Her silence followed both of the questions that the paler lioness had asked her.

"There was sex involved." Laini found it easier on herself to just repeat the statement. She was tensing up, not enjoying the fact that there was far to much company today to begin with, but she also found herself on the end of an interrogation. "Is that all Muhuri?" Had she had the nerve to do so she'd have growled, but alas she still couldn't meet the eyes of her invader.

"Please leave, I have plenty to do here."

Green eyes flicked up, meeting the crimson pair that did not leave her. It was unsettling to see eyes so steady and confident.

When the, usually timid, lioness started tensing up visibly Muhuri half expected she'd not get an answer, not today at least. If she was one thing it was persistent when needed. "Thank you for being so readily honest." When she heard the words coming from the mouth of this lioness she was baffled, plenty of other lioness' painted the picture of sleeping around. Not that Laini had in fact done this, but to do something like it with a lion that was just passing by? Crimson eyes narrowed briefly and then she relaxed again.

"Now, now Laini." She said, trying to encourage the lioness to calm herself. Especially since the next part was going to be so tough to hear. "Tethys has produced some conditions for his sons." She said, being specific right away. "Tethys has commanded that any sons born to pride members he has interacted with shall be given up to him. This is so that they may avoid death by our paws due to possible sight." She finished up, happy with how much she had cleaned up that speech for the purposes of sharing it with the other mothers.

"So you need to be prepared for when that inevitably happens."

Crimson eyes looked a touch edgy, losing their confidence. What confidence was thee to have when they applied to even herself? She wasn't about to admit that though.

Laini gave a small huff and narrowed her green eyes at the 'now now' which usually was followed with a speech about her attitude. An attitude she rarely knew she had unless someone pointed it out. Typically it was just the way she spoke and it didn't bother her so she didn't realize it bothered anyone else.

Instead, the speech she got, was one that caught her off guard enough to tighten up her back legs and set down her work. "Take our boys?" She stared in a disbelief that was so pure and innocent. "He can't possibly be serious." But Muhuri gave a nod suggesting that there was no way out of it.

"Leave."

Laini said in a low tone. Of course the choices she had made were her own and the warning was a nice one. Yet she still felt anger towards the messenger. How else could she feel? If she were to bear cubs those cubs would be her first. Of course she'd have to give them up if boys were born and gifted with a powerful sight. Shaking her head from her thoughts she witnessed the tail end of Muhuri's leave. If the pale lioness had said some form of good bye it was a quiet one.

Muhuri witnessed the downward spiral of the lioness' attitude and then heard the word 'leave'. It was inevitable for her to be shoved off, but she hadn't expected so much outward attitude from the lioness who was so soft spoken.

"Fine, fine.." She said and turned heel to leave.

She didn't have anything else to say anyway, so there wasn't any point in sticking around for any other possible arguments.
