Permission was not a requirement, but Blasaz believed in courtesy and so she had arranged to meet with Sabia`nafsi - sure, she wasn't one of the leaders which would have been a little more ideal, but she carried some weight around the pride. Blasaz hadn't even actually let the lioness know why they gathered together today, but instead allowed it to seem a little more friendly.
The offensive commander had brushed aside the invitation with a 'sure', the tone was a little more icy than she had expected, but needless to say the chat needed to happen. "I wonder if Krisis will even be ready." She asked herself, quietly. There wasn't much else to think about as she stood and awaited the much paler lioness.
When Sabia did finally show up it seemed she was already in a mood.

"Blasaz."
She greeted albeit coldly. Her piercing red eyes stared through the goddess that had asked her here and right to the trees behind her. The meeting was happening near the edge of woods that had taken to the side of the mountain in a unique way. The area had become a favored area for the goddess and her daughter. "What do you want?" Quick to the point, but when the Icala`phatha didn't receive an answer quick enough for her she began to pace a small amount.
"Did you have a chance to meet Tethys?"
Though Sabia asked the question she already knew the answer.
"Did you know that your daughter and two other members already met him as well?"
Anger coursed through her body in waves that kept her at a level of searing mad that she had not felt the likes of in ages. Did these pride members not realize what their actions appeared like from the outside? As far as Sabia was concerned the pride reeked of desperation so badly that she even wrinkled her nose at the thought of it all. The whole situation made her head spin and so she spoke again to gather herself. "Answer me, Blasaz."

Questions came hot and fast at the goddess who was entirely blown away by the angry display that the Icala`phatha was putting on. "It sounds as though I'm choosing a great time to let you know I'll be away, as well as my daughter." Blasaz narrowed her eyes, typically gentle features seemed to sharpen and become harsh. "I don't like what you're implying, Sabia."
If she could smite, which she can't, she would have. The way the lioness before her was acting was absurd - anger wouldn't get her to far, not in a pride of spiritual leaders that had no choice, but to have warriors. Blasaz was sure if it became an option the physical fighters would be let go to seek other shelter. Of course she kept all of that to herself, finding a source for inner peace before speaking again.
"Yes, I know about Tethys."
She admitted, hoping to have some of the drama fade. "I didn't know about Krisis, but I assumed there was more. His white pelt would appear desirable and he has a way of talking to individuals that grows on them." There was no way to deny this, especially if the inevitable happened. Though of course they could all begin denying anything had happened, but Blasaz had never been so great with lying.
"What will you do about it?" She paused - inhaling.
"What, stop them? Oh wait - .."
She could have rivaled Krisis for her sudden snap in the conversation.

Sabia`nafsi ceased her pacing and turned to face the goddess, her crimson eyes narrowed at her. Then they relaxed a small amount. "You have a point." She agreed in a disgusted tone.
Closing her eyes she sighed. The individuals, one of which she had figured out was her daughter, had made their bed and now that they would have to lay in it. Down the road she may discover that she would be a grandma, today was not that day though. "The point made is awful, but you do have a point." It wasn't the goddess she was trying to convince, no - she herself was having a hard time with this and so she struggled with letting go of the anger.
"Away?"
Suddenly she clued in that Blasaz had been discussing more than simple sex. "Do you mean a vacation?" The words were out of her mouth before she could stop herself. She realized that the way she had asked implied that the goddess wished to leave, but that didn't seem to be the case as she watched the goddess' head bob up and down. Sabia controlled a sigh that almost gave away that her nerves were shot.
"You probably deserve it. Can I ask where you two will be headed?"

"Of course you can ask."
Blasaz was tempted to leave the mortal hanging, but it wasn't built into her personality to behave in such a way and so she continued speaking. "I was told about a place on the coast, the Bahari`mtoto." The words weren't lost on Sabia`nafsi, in fact it appeared as though her interest had piqued. "From what I understand they are a peaceful home of lions that welcomes gods readily. It seems that gods have gathered there on such a regular basis that seeing one isn't strange to them."
A small smile formed on her face, regardless of the situation the group of lioness' was currently faced with she could appreciate what information Tethys had brought her. "To have a place where we can just simply be, plus the beauty of the ocean cannot be compared to any other thing, or so I'm told." Orange-red eyes met Sabias crimson stare unblinkingly, she was still smiling.
"This vacation is overdue, Sabia. So I'll be back as soon as I can, but I don't expect to put a limit on my time away. Should you need me I am only a messenger away." Blasaz was happy to be free from the conversation. Once she returned home it would be a whole other story - the battle hadn't ended, it was paused.

She had heard of the Bahari`mtoto before during her travels, when the Intaba had been faced with hard times that left many lions without a home. Instead of choosing the Bahari she had instead chosen the Mwezi as her home. That home had served its purposed, hardened the youthful individual and given her some strength she didn't know was within her. There were no regrets.
"You'll have to bring back stories of the ocean." The pale lioness allowed a small smile as she thought of the oceans size and beauty. "You're right about it being overdue, hopefully you have a splendid time."
Returning to a more soothing nature was hard and appeared forced because most of the time it was. She watched as the goddess left, using that flight gifted to all gods to head off towards her daughter.
"If only.."
She said to herself, heading away from the meeting spot while thinking of heading off on vacation herself. She considered doing so with Hoaka, perhaps it was time to finally suggest it.
