The rooftop of the warehouse - where so many a Negaverse agent tended to spend their time - was where Remus stood now, poised at the edge of the parapet, staring down at the bustling city below. It was nearing midnight, and it was freezing as all getup, but at least the multi-layered uniform he wore kept him relatively warm, even in the sleety, snowy mix currently falling from the skies.
He could sense a power signature somewhere nearby, hence why he was on the rooftop in the first place. There was something tarnished and blackened about it; definitely not an Order side signature, from what Remus could tell. But not quite as powerful as his own - not that his own was even powerful at all.
Still. He was trying to see if he could lure whoever it was out of hiding.

He was not, so far, all that good at picking out power signatures and had on a few occasions just only missed getting into a skuffle with some senshi or another who he practically ran into. He kept meaning to ask Kat, Tourmaline, about it but so far their 'meetings' had been about anything but work. Still, there was someone about and he made his way up to the roof near the signature. Hopefully far enough away to have a moment to assess things but he knew once he stepped onto the roof he would be visible enough. The tophat tended to stand out. Twirling his watch by one hand he finished his climb up the fire escape before looking around. "Ah ... Senshi." He smirked as he caught sight of the younger man. Too bad it was someone he'd likely have to deal with.

It was coming nearer, the signature. Remus made an impatient gesture with his hands, rocking back on the heels of his shoes, wondering who it would be this time. The lieutenant that emerged was unfamiliar, however, and Remus let out a low whistle, grinning widely.
"That's right," he said airily. "Sailor Remus, at your service - Walk the Moon!"
He shot his hands out without hesitating for a second, the magic bursting towards the man.grymoire Walk the Moon: Remus holds a handful of regolith in his hand and blows it towards his opponent. The regolith acts like a paralyzing agent, but not entirely, slowing them down and making them feel as though they're walking through too many layers. This effect lasts for 20 seconds, and can only be used once per battle. It lasts even less with higher powers than his.

Well that was an interesting introduction if he had anything to say. Not that he had encountered any senshi so far but being attached without any warning or thought wasn't something he'd have thought of them. Stupid. The dust though, that was an interesting feeling. His head turned to see as his watched seemed to slow down in it's path and he laughed, head tipping back. "My my. What an interesting little trick you have there." Despite the sluggish feeling he continued his way across the roof. The kid, young man, was quite a bit shorter than him and magic or no there were some things he'd always have the advantage in. Pushing through whatever magic had been used on him he advanced on the senshi.

"I don't prefer to stand around talking when I could just kick your a**," Remus said, with an airy shrug, as he strolled closer to the agent. "Not when I could just, y'know, get right to it. And I decided that, well, why not? I could just go straight for the balls. Or lack thereof," he added, grinning widely.
He did, at least, have the advantage of his own power being a little stronger, at least judging by their power signature. As the man advanced towards him, Remus lunged forward, swinging his fist.
"That's my name, Sailor Interesting."

"Perhaps you should learn to think," He reached up, sluggish movements starting to wear off as he caught the swinging fist on his arm. It hurt. The senshi obviously stronger than he gave him credit for but he'd had far worse before. "Before you charge." Wicked smirk on his lips the watch swung around wrapping around his hand and he aimed his fist at the Senshi's gut. The watch didn't give his punch any weight, he relied on his own concealed muscles, but the chain did at least add an extra sting where it connected. "Timing is everything."

He made a sound in the back of his throat, a derisive snort as his fist connected.
"That's funny," said Remus, "I would have said the same thing to you guys, except I would have stopped at the 'you should learn to think' part, because most of you asshats - let's face it - don't know how to put two and two together to get four. Or deduce that the letter after 'A' is 'B.' But, you know."
His tendency towards mocking his opponent and general sarcasm had already gotten Remus in trouble with the infamous, very dangerous - and also very dead - General Queen Apatite. It would likely get him into trouble with a great deal more people, but he couldn't quite help it, even after all this time. It was simply who he was.
The punch hit him straight in the gut, and Remus doubled over, gasping with pain. It was less strong than it would have been, had the magic not been slowing him down, but it still hurt like hell, and Remus staggered back a few steps, wheezing.
"Ow. That hurt, you ********> he managed to get out, and then kicked out, viciously hard, his foot aiming for the man's ankle.

When the Senshi stumbled back he took a moment to center himself, setting his footing better and trying to shake off the last of the sluggish magic. Whatever that had been it was unpleasant and he was not looking forward to whatever else the Senshi had up his oversized sleeves. "I believe you mistake me for one of the children. So far I have been the only one thinking given your rather ... abrupt need to attack me." His footing didn't last long as he tried to move out of the way of the kick. He managed to miss it but not getting his ankle caught meant that his own long legs got tangled up in themselves and he ended up on one knee. "Feisty one aren't you."

His stomach was throbbing; that damned hit had hurt more than he'd thought it would have, though Remus was not about to show that to someone who was taking pleasure in beating him up. He straightened as best as he could, ignoring the thought of rapidly forming bruises, and made a face.
"What would you rather do? Play cards? Jump rope? Maybe sit around a fire and talk about feelings?" Remus crowed, leaping back as the man stumbled. He'd missed the kick, but it meant that the other was at least down on the ground, and Remus darted forward, fully intent on driving his knee into the lieutenant's smarmy face.
"Oh, I'm the very definition of feisty."

"I'm afraid you'd lose at cards too if that had been your opener of choice." Feisty was right and the brat played dirty too. He managed to catch Remus' knee but his hands were still forced back. As he caught the blow he twisted to wrench the Senshi off his feet and onto the ground with him. Smart move in one part but it meant he took a good portion of the weight behind the blow on his shoulder. He was too old for this and he felt something twinge in his right arm. "Someone needs ot teach you some manners."

"Cards are boring," said Remus simply. "Too much sneaking about. I'd rather just show my hand right off the bat."
He didn't quite manage to make the entirety of his swing, but at least he knocked him back somewhat. Remus found himself twisted sideways, the pair of them swinging violently to the side and then down, crashing back in a tangle of flailing limbs, since Remus was just kicking without hesitation now.
"People have tried," he said through gritted teeth, and rolled sharply, trying to free himself from the mess and get back onto his feet. "Doesn't stick."

He snarled as they went down, trying to keep the Senshi's flailing limbs from connecting with anything vital. Were he younger he could have kept up with the Senshi easily but now, without being in proper shape, it was a challenge. "Obviously." He said huffed through gritted teeth. Using his weight and the height he had over the Senshi he tried to essentially sit on him to keep him on the ground. He wasn't worried about attacking him, that was useless with all the flailing, but if he could keep him still and against the ground then maybe he could catch his breath.

Neither Senshi nor Lieutenant had noticed her approach, too distracted with scrapping against one another to pick up on the presence of another powered individual encroaching on their territory. She had continued to watch them for a bit, making note of the way the silver haired Lieutenant moved as well as studying the Senshi who had gotten away from her only nights ago. She could let them continue on, of course. It was good for Lieutenant Uvaorite to get the practice in, just as it was good for the Senshi-- Remus, she had learned his name was-- to know that there were others that he should watch out for. Aue had said that he was not terrible, insisting that he had potential, and that was why she stepped in. "Alright, I think that is more than enough for one night." Captain Tourmaline hopped down from her perch, springing over to where the Lieutenant had pinned the Senshi. Her hand rested on his shoulder for a moment, flashing him a grin. "I hope you don't mind if I cut in, Uvaorite-- You have done a wonderful job knocking this pesky little brat around, but Super against Lieutenant just really isn't fair and it doesn't look like he's playing nice." She pulled the Lieutenant back away from the senshi to make sure that when she teleported she was only taking the two of them, not wanting to risk bringing the senshi along for the ride when she was trying to put space between them. Tourmaline did not go far, only a few yards away, wanting to make sure that she had the energy to teleport them further, be it hospital or home, if she needed to after the senshi was gone.

He couldn't manage to twist himself free; the lieutenant was using - cheating, Remus thought - his sheer size and strength to keep him from getting away, which was ruthlessly unfair, especially considering that Remus got quite enough of that from certain other people, thank you very much.
He did not, however, notice the second power signature, not until he heard footsteps and a voice and -
s**t. s**t.
It was that damned captain again, the one with the pink in her hair. Remus let out a snarl of a groan that sounded almost exasperated, although the fear had started coiling in his chest, instant and suffocating twisting its way around his heart - because against one, he had a chance. Against two, there was the very real possibility of him being completely screwed.
But then - they were gone. Remus sat up slowly, his eyes narrowing, heaving for breath, and looked around, squinting in the darkness.

He recognized Tourmaline's voice the moment he heard it and almost, almost, told her to keep things to herself. He had managed to pin the Senshi to the ground and odds were if he could have kept him there he'd have been fine. Almost. Her teleporting them a bit away from the Senshi was for the best. He was not in the proper shape to actually deal with the younger man and he would have most likely gotten himself seriously hurt if he'd kept at things. His shoulder was still throbbing which probably meant a date with some painkillers and an ice pack. "Tourmaline, how very nice to see you."
