Bundled up tightly, nose pressed into the tightly wound scarf, small hands were tucked into the pockets of his coat as he hurried down the street. Moving to avoid a few people the teen kept his dark eyes focused ahead, not wanting to plow right into anyone, he was in a rush to get to campus. He had been called, more like ordered, to dinner at his mothers home where she and her wife had proceeded to keep him as they babbled on about various things - all things he couldn't care less about.
He had left after some time, he'd had to remind them he had a curfew several times, but he'd finally gotten out of the place and was now in a rush to get back to campus and into his dorm room. He did not want to be late! Sparing a glance down at his phone, having pulled it and his right hand from his coat pocket, he mentally cursed as he noted the time. There was no way he was getting back in time!
Narrowly missing someone else, an older woman, he managed to get a hurried apology, and he was back on his way down the street. If he cut through the small park, very small, he'd save some time and wouldn't run the risk of running into more people on the sidewalk. Mind made up he swung himself right and through the gates of the playground and continued on his way. He might be doomed to be late but he was going to his best and try not to be too late.

Amytis hated this weather. Sure, as a Senshi she had more resistance to the cold, but really, her outfit was clearly built for a balmier and more pleasant climate. She'd wrapped herself up in a shawl, and the Guardian Cat in her arms was serving as a very thoroughly functional space heater, she was still cold, sitting on a park bench and hoping she didn't run into anyone too eager to fight.
"How are you feeling?" She asked Soyala, frowning faintly as she heard someone approach."I'm just fine," Soyala replied, settling more comfortably into Amytis's arms. Really, she was finding she liked the Dark Mirror Court very much - it had been pure luck that drew her to this Eternal, but the girl had been all too eager to accompany her on her eternal quest to find more Senshi. It was so much harder in the Negaverse; the whole rigamarole of contacting a General-Sovereign and making them come out...
More expedient to help the Court, because Chaos was Chaos either way.
And speaking of.
Her ears perked up and she sat up in Amytis's arms, leaning towards the approaching bundled figure.
"Oh," she said, and then she leapt out of the Senshi;'s arms, which drew an undignified gasp from the woman.
"Hello there," she said, brightly and cheerily, hoping to draw his attention - even though he looked like he was hurrying somewhere.
Because she could feel it, and she was certain, now that she was close - he had the bright star in his heart of an unawakened Senshi. And he would be theirs, surely.

Hurrying physically while mentally panicking over the prospect of being late and not getting onto campus in time and being caught, he didn't need the trouble it would bring him. While it wasn't his fault he couldn't, and shouldn't, blame it on others especially his mother and her partner - it wasn't his place...even if it was their fault.
What he wasn't expecting was someone calling out a greeting - was it to him? Stopping dead in his tracks he glanced about. It would be rude to continue on if someone was trying to get his attention, especially considering they might need help or something. "H-hello?" Glancing about he finally chanced a glance down, maybe some child...but no. There was just a cat at his feet.
Bending down to move the cat, out of his way,. and pet behind the ears he managed a small smile that peeked out from over his scarf. "You should keep out of the way kitty. I have to get going - I'm going to be late." And he made to stand up slowly. The cat really was pretty...and decorated too, no doubt a good owner.

Amytis sat back and watched, content for the moment to let Soyala do the talking. She was good at convincing people - Amytis was shy and sometimes a little awkward, and it was really much easier to let the cat who knew what she was doing handle things
She'd step in when he was needed, and no sooner.Soyala nodded, much more intelligently an a cat ought to. "Well, I won't keep you long, darling, I'd hate to make you late," she said, brightly. "I just wanted to make you an offer, and I won't beat around the bush - that would be rude, when we're on a time limit." She made a purr that almost sounded like a laugh.
"Would you like to be a magical warrior?"

The cat nodded...? But that wasn't possible, right? No, the cat was just moving her head and he was interpreting it wrong, he was in a rush and tired and he was giving a human action to a cat - it was ridiculous and impossible. However she was soon talking - what the hell?! A talking cat. Nope, no, that wasn't possible. He was tired, really tired...or he was sleeping.
There was no way he was actually hearing a cat talk, it simply wasn't possible, but then why was she talking? Almost sure that he was sleeping, and so he wasn't in a real rush but none the less he was becuase the dream dictated that, he decided this offer was something he should accept and did so. "Umm...sure." Not knowing what it would entail and figuring it would play some part in things later on in the dream.
He didn't for a moment think it odd that he was realizing he was dreaming while dreaming...or that he was making choices about what to do.

"Good, good!" Soyala said brightly, and she stretched, and leaped up into Amytis's arms when the Eternal walked over to join them. It was always good to find someone who didn't protest too much, and frankly that was how she preferred things.
"My friend here will help you, because I can't do everything on my own."Amytis gave him a polite smile and shifted her grip on her armful of cat so she could extend a hand for him to shake.
"Hi," she said, "I'm Amytis." She considered exactly what else to offer - what had Remarque said back when he Awakened her? It was hard to remember, but she could at least try to be friendly and reassuring.
"There's a lot for us to talk about before we do this, but I can give you the short version, if you'd like."Sleet Tempest Snape so so many apologies for the wait orz

"Umm yeah, short version is good." It wasn't like the long version was needed, right? This wasn't real, he knew that. He was stuck somewhere between dreaming and awake. He'd been there plenty of times before, where he had some ability to manipulate the dream. There was no way this, any of it, was real. But he took the hand extended to him anyway.
"Xi-Wang...I'm Xi-Wang." The cat in the girl's arms was still a very curious thing, something to focus on as he stepped closer to the female. What would happen next?
