Not that Avi himself was just always grumpy and irritable around people who were naturally chipper and perky. Nope. His adopted sibling wasn't helping either. Avi really wanted to move out of the house. It was getting way too crowded what with having to share a living space with the bakeneko.

Maybe he should ask his other mother Ishy for some advice. Surely anyone other than his mum or Uncle would make for a better objective consultant. It was just so frustrating for him that he didn't know what he wanted, other than space.

He knew he didn't want to become a professor like his mum and he really didn't care much for familiars to be like his Uncle. He'd never met his grand-uncle because he'd never been to the Scepters. For all his mum and Uncle Gat talked about the mountains, it struck Avi as odd that he'd never been brought "back home."

And that's when it occurred to Avi that he knew what he wanted to do.

He wanted to explore the Scepters and see what it had to offer. Maybe he could learn to work with iron or help mine for precious jewels. Or maybe he could work with jewelry and make exquisite pieces because he had incredible faith in his artistic skills. Whatever he made he was sure would be badass, and then he would then sell them for exorbitant prices. It would give him a good income and a means to finally be independent. Yeah. That sounded like a plan.
