Growling a little under her breath as she headed home, Bestla rubbed absently at her shoulder. After the night she'd had, all she wanted was to go home and soak the aches away. Maybe have a hard cider and sandwich. But above all, she wanted to relax. She was tired of the Negaverse and all it's creatures.
Which, of course, was exactly why she felt a chaotic aura nearby. Silently cursing out the universe for shitty timing, the senshi debated briefly. Go home and pretend she hadn't felt anything? Or track down the source and make sure it wasn't harming anyone?
Another moment passed before Bestla, swearing viciously, set off in search of the aura's owner.
"Damn my sense of responsibilty," she muttered.

Cavansite was such a ball of anger, she just wanted to…well. Destroy everything.
Her mouth hurt, and her pride was still hurt, and fighting helped her feel better, it always had. She had taken some frustration out on the cosmos knight, but she still felt…itchy. And she wanted more stuff. Stealing things always made her feel better.
She really hoped that the senshi she felt nearby had something pretty that she could take.
If she didn’t, she was quite sure she would just take the pretty starseed that resided in the chest of whoever it was.
The captain hopped down from the roof she had been on and landed in front of the senshi who was looking for her. “Well, hello there. Aren’t you a pretty thing?”

Jumping slightly as the negaverse officer landed, quite metaphorically, in her lap, Bestla growled and tensed. It was never a good sign when one of them offered compliments. From her, admittedly limited, experience, compliments usually translated to Hi, we'd like to skin you and wear ur face as a mask LOLOLOL.
Still, there was face to be kept and letting this other woman know she was on the nervous side would only cause worse trouble.
"Wouldn't know. I don't go looking around in mirrors since I ain't vain."
As she spoke, her eyes couldn't help but be drawn to some of the other woman's accessories. And then she wished she hadn't looked.
"You," she announced in a thick, ragged and above all, horrified sounding voice, "are ******** sick."

Cavansite watched the senshi closely, her grin only growing, and her eyes lighting up as she saw all of her trophies. “Really? You think I’m ******** sick, hm? Do you have anything you’d like to offer me? I hope you know, I’m a lot nicer to a person if they give me something of theirs…and if I have to take it myself…well. You might be losing a little more than just one of your pretty trinkets, let me just say.”
Her eyes lingered on the beautiful teal stones that adorned the senshi’s outfit, and she wanted one. They so matched her own…and they were just pretty.
“Tell me, senshi. What are you the senshi of? You have a beautiful outfit, and I have to admit, I really do love the colors of your accessories.” She summoned her spear into being, partly to be a little frightening, and partly to show off that the colors matched quite well.

Looking slightly green around the gills, Bestla glanced from the starseeds to the officer's face and scowled.
"Why should I give you anything? You are wearing what used to be souls! That's awful!"
In fact it was making her feel quite queasy. And that this officer could stand there and converse so pleasantly while she wore starseeds... It was almost more than Bestla could take. What was wrong with these people?
Her eyes went from narrow to wide the moment the spear was summoned. Because of course this woman had a spear. Wonderful, great. She was so ******** if she couldn't figure out a way to neutralize this chick before getting shish-ka-bobbed.
Completely missing the fact that spear and stones matched, Bestla stood defensively, fists clenching and unclenching.
"Thanks, I think. And I don't think I want to tell you that one," she said, jaw jutting out angrily.

Cavansite blinked, then another slow, almost wolfish grin spread across her face. “Yes, they were souls at one point in time, I suppose. This one--” She gestured to the one nestled gently on the bow she had been given by the cosmos knight and laughed. “This one was a beautiful girl, a page, I think. Of Cosmos. I have quite a fondness for Cosmos knights...well, by fondness I guess I really mean, ‘deep hatred’, but we don’t have to bother with such boring things like details, now do we?”
She tossed her hair back, showing off the the starseeds that adorned her earrings. “The one on the left, that was the first one I got...nearly caused a little senshi to wet himself with fear, oh it was perfect. And the one on the right, that’s just a run of the mill civilian. I’ve never had the pleasure of eating one yet...but, perhaps that will be the one I consume...though I wonder if they grow weaker the longer they’re separated from the body...who knows.”
The Captain sighed heavily and shrugged. “Anyway, will you give me some of your trinkets, or will I get them by force and add them and something else from you to my collection? I think I could do something fancy with my hair and your pretty starseed, I have a great imagination.”

Okay, having the brief histories of the starseeds being worn by a sick freak spelled out for her was even more sickening that Bestla would have thought before this moment. And that this... ********, sick monster so clearly enjoyed the damages she'd done to those people. It was wrong. Sick and so so wrong.
Pressing her lips in together in a thin line to keep from throwing up, her eyes fastened on the starseed that had apparently belonged to a normal person. Someone who'd had no stakes in this war. Her stomach flopped unpleasantly when the officer spoke of one day eating the starseed and she knew she couldn't let this atrocity go unpunished.
Shaking out her arms casually, she pretended to consider the demand for something of her own to placate this monster. Girl, she thought, this is going to take some ******** good timing and even better luck.
"Y'know, sorry to disappoint," she said in a cold voice, "but I don't give a rat's a** about your great imagination. I like my starseed where it is and it's stayin' there."
Counting on her natural strength, Bestla darted towards the officer, conjuring up her magic as she ran and quite literally throwing the tiny, glowing spores into the officer's face, hoping to blind her for just long enough.
Then, she reached for the starseed of that poor little civilian.

Stupid ******** senshi. One minute, Cavansite was grinning in anticipation, ready for the senshi to just give in out of fear, ready to accept her surrender, and the next thing…the next thing she knew there was something akin to a flash bulb in her eyes…and not only that, but the little tramp was grabbing at the starseed on her earring.
Oh hell no.
The captain did not even think of using the spear that she so lovingly showed off all the time, she went right for the hand curled into almost a claw shape, grabbing at whatever she could, in this case, it was part of the girls fuku, a delicate piece of silver metal adorned with teal jewels.
Cavansites eyes were still watering profusely from the senshi magic, and she let out a roar of frustration as she felt the starseed part with her earring.
How dare she?
“You give that back or I swear I will run you through.” Or at least she would…when she could see again.

Holy s**t, holy s**t, <********>. Bestla ignored the grasping hand, even when she felt it latch onto her fuku and tear at it. All that mattered was the starseed. As her heart leapt into her throat with each passing second, she finally felt the starseed come away in her fingers and began scrabbling to get away.
Her thirty seconds would be up soon. And for a moment, she considered giving the officer another dose of glow. Instead, she settled for "accidentally" kicking the woman in the head in her mad rush to not be killed and leaping to her feet, raced to get away.
"Don't think so, b***h," came her parting words. "This is one soul you don't get to have your way with!"
After that, Bestla ran. She didn't want to risk being chased or found. And it was only when she was several blocks away did she feel safe enough to power down.
