Captain Tourmaline was on the prowl again. She kept to the shadows, even as the bright spikes of neon pink stood out amidst them. It wasn't that she was trying to hide, specifically, but there was only a certain type of prey that she wanted spotting her. Tonight it was all about drawing the light into darkness.

"Who said anything about a trap? It's only a trap if you have a specific target in mind... I'm not looking for a specific target, which means you'll do just fine." Tourmaline flashed the other young woman a wicked grin. "Come down here and play, lovely... It's a wonderful night for a fight."

"Then maybe you'll just have to get more personally acquainted with my definition of 'play'. I promise you'll have fun... Well, maybe not as much fun as I'll have." She grinned, dragging her claws across the brick wall beside her.

As an unlikely move, Captain Tourmaline allowed herself to be dazzled by the spores that attached themselves to her. She held her hand out for them, watching the spores attach to her coat and her gloves.

"Fascinating. Is this all you can do, little bug? Make things light and glow?" She laughed, the sound doing little to detract from anyone who might be questioning her sanity. "Come down here and fight me!"

Unlike others who ranked up in the Negaverse, Captain Tourmaline had not gained a larger weapon upon her promotion. What she had discovered, as a result to that, was more of a physical enhancement. She was stronger and faster-- And likely more than a little bit off of her rocker.

The latter bit was not from the promotion, at the very least. It was more of a direct reaction to the things that had been going on with her life lately, only solidifying her need to prove herself along with doing whatever she could to take down any Order aligned person that she could find until she crossed paths with her target again.

Tourmaline brought her arm up to deflect the lid as she braced herself. It crashed into her forearm and she let out a scream at the pain before charging forward through it. She rushed the senshi, not caring that the other woman seemed larger than she was, determined to take a swipe with her claws at any bare skin she could get at.

The senshi's fingers closed around her wrist and caused her to stumble, feet shuffling as the tread of her boots tried to keep hold of the ground. The end result was a stuttering tumble that ended with a face full of brick wall as she crashed into the nearby building.

"Nn... You're going to regret that, firefly..." She pushed herself away from the wall, bringing one hand up to rub some of the grit off of her cheek before casting a glare at the senshi.

"Tourmaline. Captain Tourmaline, and you'll do well to remember it, firefly." The green eyed Captain watched her prey with a gaze that could only be described as feral She'd never been touched by a youma, but she'd spent enough time sparring against a youmafied Captain to have picked up a trick or two on top of emotions that were running rampant. As a result, her actions were more out of instinct than anything that made sense as she watched her prey for a moment before lunging at her again.

The spores caught her in the face and she sputtered, losing her balance as she tried to bat them away. Tourmaline howled; rage first with anguish spilling in as she felt the distance between herself and her prey growing while she sat there, dazzled and dazed by the glow clinging to her face.

As the effects began to wear off and the alley went dark Tourmaline continued kneeling where she had fallen. All she could see was the haze left behind as her eyes readjusted. Even once she could see clearly again, Tourmaline remained until eventually standing up to let her own darkness fade back into the shadows.

Alone, she stepped out of the alley as Katrina Halloran, running her fingers back through her hair before heading down the street to a nearby bus stop. Teleporting would have been faster, sure, but there wasn't anything waiting for her at home... Just more darkness and more time spent alone.
