Lorek couldn't help but nibble on his fingernails, it was a bad habit that he had picked up when he still lived at the Orphanage. He wanted nothing more than to finally be who he knew he could be, but his anxiety was something that he couldn't shake, no matter how hard he tried. That was yet another thing he had picked up from the Orphanage. It wasn't that they were unkind there, but when you were constantly surrounded by a multitude of children with no one to lean on things could get rather chaotic, and because of that Lorek's nervousness came at an all time high.

Tambre had done what she could to help him get over it, he even went to counseling every week to try to manage it. It was certainly getting better than it was before he met Tambre, but it definitely wasn't fully managed and he was beginning to wonder if it was something he'd have to live with for the rest of his life. The constant fear definitely crippled him at the most inopportune times, and he couldn't even explain why. It was the place he now found himself in when thinking about the future, and the more he thought about it the more he found himself scared about what could happen.

Lorek did everything he could just to steady his hands, but he knew he was the verge of a panic attack. He closed his eyes, trying his best to steady his breathing as he had been taught to do. What seemed like an hour passed by but he knew it couldn't have been more than a couple of minutes when his eyes finally opened and he noticed that the shaking had finally subsided. A sense of pride actually bubbled up in his stomach, happy that he was able to suppress the attack without any help. Maybe things were actually getting better, maybe, just maybe, he would be able to move on with his life.
