The early rays of sun glimmered over the waters. Smiling, a lone Alkidike slipped through the trees to head towards those very waters which shimmered with such allure. It was perfect spot, an inlet of water which was secluded from the main waters used for passage to and from Chibale. Here the young mystic had found she could spend a few moments of leisure before darn completely broke and forced her into yet more lessons. Lessons which secretly she had begun to truly enjoy and cherish. Still, even she needed a break on occasion and Danika could find no better way to relax than swimming.
So it was here that the apprentice stripped down to her bare linens. Taking the rest of her belongings Danika left a small pile by some rocks to keep them in place. When she was done the girl turned back and glanced over the small inlet. She was ready. Smiling, she stretched out a foot to tentatively touch the water’s surface. As the waters rippled at her touch, Danika laughed quietly. It was always wonderful to see how one movement could create such art in the ripples of water. How she enjoyed watching them spreading almost out like magic from where her toes hovered at the surface. And even though her antenna twitched, almost as if in protest, at the slight chill of the morning the girl still found herself slipping from the rocks and into the waters below.

Niabi slipped through the forests of Chibale and toward the coast. It had been a while since she had decided to just relax. She had been home for almost a year now, her mind trying to process all that had happened to her and trying to work through clearing her life. She needed a restart, she needed a clean slate. She wanted to just forget all about bug mages, travel plans, dancing, and all the other frivolous things that made such a mess of things for her.
She was convinced that if she hadn't made the choices she had, she wouldn't have brought so many problems down on her shoulders. If she had just trained and fought like her Alkidike Sisters, then it wouldn't have been a problem.
Niabi heard the coast before she saw it, the sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks and sands. It was a small inlet she was aiming for. She used to come her often in her youth, always wanting to escape, but now it was just to embrace the place she grew up in the and place she was supposed to protect if it came to that. She slipped onto the beach and could see that it was already occupied. It didn't take much to figure out who it was that was in the waters; their young mystic was all too known on the Isle of Chibale.

Danika twisted through the waters like a fish. What she enjoyed the most was seeing how far she could go and how deep the waters went. It was like experiencing another world when one went below the surface. Here things were quiet and operated in their own unique way. Danika grinned as she startled some little fish. Sorry. She watched as they disappeared off into the waters before finally emerging once more herself.
Tossing her dreads backwards over her shoulder the girl took in a deep breath before laying on her back and simply letting the water carry her. She was pretty blissful save for when her antenna twitched. Was someone else here? Her gaze widening Danika twisted with a splash so that she could try to survey the area. "Hello?" She called out before noticing an unfamiliar face of a sister, "Ah." Danika smiled shyly as she swam back towards the beach. Wading now the soaked Alkidike tried to get a better glance at the other woman, "Are you here for the waters as well? I'm sorry I'm not used to seeing someone else here this early." She tried to push some dreads from her face as she peeked towards the other woman from the waters, "I'm not in your way, am I? Feel free to join if you would like."

Niabi pulled her hair out of her face and onto the top of her head, securing it with a hair clip before untying the numerous ornaments hanging from her waist. The release had her feeling unnaturally light and she felt a twitch of a smile at the corner of her mouth. "I'm not used to running into anyone out here either, although that would be at any time." she smiled to the younger Alkidike Sister and drew out the cloth she had from her bag.
"It's a little early for me yet, but I'll sit out for now." she laid the cloth onto the soft sand of the beach and put a hand to her forehead as she shifted her gaze to the sun. It wouldn't be much longer before the heat picked up and Niabi would be more than ready to get her feet wet, maybe even head as far out as she could before reaching ocean. "What brings you out here today, Sister?" She asked of the young Mystic. Niabi couldn't know all, but she had thought that the younger one would have had someone to answer to on a normal day.
