Eliza had been thinking a lot lately about what she wanted to do when she grew up. She had a fascination with older objects and history itself. There was something fun about digging around in her past and bringing those things into the future in a new way. It might be a little too early for her to pin down a strict career path, but she was nothing if not practical in some sense. Even if she could just start moving in the right direction, that'd be one way to go.
For now she wanted to focus on history, did you know there was work to be done in remaking old pots, chairs, and other such items? She hadn't, until she'd started her research. If you knew enough about the era an object was made in, then it was simple enough to restore of recreate and item from that era so that information could be gained from the remake. It was really quite fascinating. But, it did mean a lot of studying. She's have to work on her art and crafting skills, while being serious about her historical studies as well.
She was never one to take the straight and easy path anyway! Having more than one thing to study would only keep her more busy and focused. Plus, if it was truly something she was passionate about, it wouldn't feel like hard work anyway! Time to get to work!
"I guess I should go to the library for today and see if there's anything there that catches my eyes!" She packed up her bag and headed out the door. What era should she study? Something before too much technology would be a lot of fun....She'd certainly have her work cut out for her!
