Hobbies:
Seals -- Giulia loves them. She reads about them all the time, fantasizes about them all the time, adores them all the time, can spout random factoids about them all the time. She is learning their natural predators, their diet, if one can theoretically survive in her swimming pool for an extended period of time... There is little else that she loves more than stories, legends, youtube videos, books, pictures, movies, exhibits, or.... anything. All about seals.
Princessing -- While this is not a proper hobby, so to speak, Giulia spends her time doing it anyways. Learning to ride ponies (like a princess), dress in tulle dresses (like a princess), beg for a dog (because princesses require noble canine companions), wear her sister's fancy shoes (like. a. princess.) She is debating a hobby such as ballet, because of the princessy tutus.
Virtues:
Outgoing -- Giulia likes everyone. You don't have to like her. She makes her judgment about people immediately, and usually it is that she wants to be your friend. All thoughtless warmth, she greets even strangers with a bright smile and a rain of chatter like they've been friends for years. She will talk to you, and talk to you, and talk to you, and she would probably listen-- if you could get a word in edgewise. If there is one thing she has never lacked for it's been love; and at 6 she overflows with it, spilling it into everyone around her.
Generous -- Having never had to worry about anything, Giulia thinks little of sharing what she does have with someone else. Toys are regularly donated or given away, her books are loaned out, and if someone wants lunch money, they really should have just asked instead of trying to be rude about it. She doesn't get possessive over anything but her twin brother, and that is just because she wants him back at the end of the day so they can read together before bed.
Optimistic -- Every day is a beautiful day! Vigorously and youthfully optimistic, Giulia's outlook is a thing of wonder to behold. There is a happy ending out there for anyone willing to fight for it, and she will be there at your side every step of the way! Today is beautiful-- and tomorrow will be even better!
Flaws:
Trusting -- Giulia likes everyone. She'll give you all the information you want to know about anything, and sure, she'll take candy from your van. Her sense of awareness about people who want to take advantage of her is, at 6, sorely underdeveloped and limited to No, I'm not giving you a house key or the security code but you can come in for tea! and No, I think you'll stab me with that knife, and that doesn't turn out well on TV.
Flighty -- Giulia is very much an act-now-think-later sort. Naive and mischievous, she doesn't consider the consequences of her actions before she leaps feet-first. Giulia is full of energy and passion. Life is full of opportunities, and she is not one to hesitate before snatching them. Giulia throws herself into interest after interest, hobby after hobby. She tries on roles like hats, eager to find something that suits her. Some might call her flighty, and they might not be wrong, but Giulia just wants to taste a little of everything life has to offer.
Stubborn -- Giulia is never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you. Never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye, never gonna tell a lie and hurt you. Basically, once you are hers, you are hers, and she will stick with you until you ghost her. Same goes for when she makes a decision- she will live in the burning wreckage of her bad choices, because they were her choices.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Giulia has large, bright blue eyes, as a reference on my monitor they would look about #4172c7. Almond-shaped, and usually crinkled from a bright smile
Hair: Giulia has whitish straw-blonde hair, long, with lots of whispy curls. She frequently asks for Jada to use her straightener on them so that she can feel like a big girl getting her hair done.
Face: Giulia has an oval face with no freckles, and a persistent impish smile. Her skin is on the naturally tanned side. This is the ref I had been using for her when people asked what she looked like, if it helps. She has long, skinny fingers, and likes to paint the nails like happy rainbows.
