This thread is designed to help with mapping, character background, and history on what you've seen in the King of fighters one liners RP.
First, lets start with mapping. The RP takes place on many different worlds. The first world where your character is supposed to start is called Planet Hamster
On Planet Hamster, there are 4 main cities you must know about. In the north, there is Hamster City.
Hamster City is one giant building with everything a city needs to survive. It has stores to shop in, a food court, housing, and medical facilities. The people of Hamster City must travel if they are to go to school. This is where the second city Southtown comes into the picture.
Southtown is located in the south of the planet Hamster and is considered lawless for the most part. It has a beach and an ocean, which is great for the summer time. Its warm there. It has a shopping area. It also has two schools. The first school is important as most people who live in Hamster would go there if they are between the grades of 1-12. The other school is a finishing school of sorts where it teaches you how to survive on the streets of southtown without getting killed and without having to retreat to the Bogard Bar.
The Bogard Bar aka Empress Dee's lounge is located close to the beach in a castle-like mansion that makes Disneyland look like a joke. When you first walk in, you see the public phone, a staircase leading to the second floor, a bathroom, an apartment suite complete with mailbox, a corridor going to the left and a corridor going to the right.
Heading down the right corridor, there is the gym for those who want a good workout. Continuing to the right while heading through the gym, you get to the arcade. The last room on the main floor is the kitchen and access to the pool. The pool is open for most of the year, except during the winter.
On the second floor of the mansion is the family bedrooms. Only immediate family to the Bogards sleep here. This means Rock Howard Bogard and Jinxi in the one, Andy Bogard, Raditz, and Mai in a second. And Terry Bogard and empress dee in the last one. There is a bathroom on that floor and stairs leading to the lounge.
In the lounge, you have everything the lounge needs to function, but its also a family restaurant with high tech servers to bring the food and to cook the food when the family is not around. This way the lounge can be used by hotel patrons at any given time. There are public bathrooms on this floor with a secret. In the out of order stall, you can flush your way to Nalith, which is located in a neighboring galaxy. There are also two elevators in the lounge...make that three elevators.
One elevator is for the Bogards to use. The other two are for hotel patrons to use, and these come in handy for when people have too much to drink. There are 100 floors above the lounge so there is plenty of room. The 100th floor is the chapel and the 99th is the cemetary.

The 3rd city on Planet Hamster is Harvest Gardens. This area is basically the industrial area where all of the resources come from. Its a great farming community and is a great place to relax if you want peace and quiet. A lot of people go here and retire here as well. It could be a great future home for Rock and Jinxi to settle down.
The final city is also one building and acts more like a tourist gate than anything. It is called the Orochi Steakhouse. As much as it is Iori Yagami's home, it provides for everyone who comes from the other planets that are in the Renaissance Galaxy. Mostly, that means food. You must go through this gate to get to the other planets in the galaxy.
The other planets in the galaxy do not serve much purpose right now, but it is important that you know about them.
First planet is the HFIL aka the Home for Infinite losers. You cannot enter here unless you have committed a crime and died for it.
Next is the Dragon Ball Empire. Based on the show Dragon Ball Z, the planets of this show reside in this empire. The characters Vegeta and Raditz come from this place. Watch the dragon ball series on watchcartoononline.com if you want to know more about the characters of the Dragon Ball Empire.
Then there is the Hylian Kingdom and Kingdom Hearts empire and the heart of Blizzard. These three are neighboring areas and are connected. You must pass through Hyrule if you are to get to Planet Hamster from either the Kingdom Hearts empire or the Heart of Blizzard.
Hylian empire is basically the Legend of Zelda and its connecting games into a series of planets. The Kingdom Heart empire is all things Disney and final Fantasy. And the Heart of Blizzard is the world of warcraft.
Next planets you come to are the Ninja planets starting with Planet Naruto. Other planets that have ninjas surround this planet on exception of Planet Marvelous, which contains all the Marvel and DC super heroes and villains.
On the other side of the road you have the Mushroom Kingdom and the Magic planets. Mushroom Kingdom is super mario brothers. The magic planets consist of Sailor Moon, winx club, knights of the zodiac, and Harry potter.
Then back to the side with the Hylian empire...we have Planet Beyblade next, which has one big farm but also people who settle their differences with beyblades. See watchcartoononline.com and watch the beyblade series to know more about the people who live on Planet Beyblade.
Yes, the Renaissance Galaxy is huge, but it is the basis for the King of fighters one liners RP. If you have a question regarding the many planets, please quote this post and ask away.

Mrawya* is the captial city of Jinxi's homeland, stretching from the Frallen Mountains to the Dred Desert, and from the Passifican Islands to the Rainbow Reefs. It is ruled by Jinxi's parents, King Rextyr and Queen Rajeena, who live in the castle there, surrounded by gardens, forests, villages, and magic. Their race is like a cat/human hybrid, and the culture is very traditional and somewhat old-fashioned in most aspects.
A short history: When Jinxi was not quite an adult, envoys from a distant world appeared and contacted King Rextyr in hopes of opening trade relations. The envoys were exotic by Jinxi's standards, one tall and very attractive, the other amusing and fun (Trixi, of a simian race), and both carrying a variety of interesting objects. When they left to return to Portal Central with treaties of mutual benefit, Jinxi slipped through the portal behind them. Of course, Darrin, who runs Portal Central, saw her come through and put her through the drill of acceptance. He and his wife, Dawn, found her to be intelligent and adventurous, as well as a good influence on Trixi, who was a bit wild and impulsive by nature.
They made a good team until a few months ago when Vil kidnapped Jinxi on a mission and dumped her in Hamster City without her memory. Dee and Rock have healed her, bringing Trixi to her, and then Rock married Jinxi just before her father showed up and took them back to Mrawya.
Castle servants include a healer (Likken), the head cook (Sheffica), a maid (Meidyra) and a youngling named Sqweekr.

Portal Central
A military run galaxy where the army runs the show. Having a history of not-so-just dealings, this area of space is rumored to be a part of a Universal Criminal Organization called Addes, though it hasn't been proven.
The army has high tech weaponry, vast knowledge of the galaxies around them, and an assortment of employees who can over power almost anyone. They treat the citizens like dirt, but they have the power to do so and nobody in that galaxy outside of the army has enough courage or power to stop what they are doing.
Keep in mind that the army isn't 100 percent bad, there is some good in it. So, there is hope that the government will change. The one in charge, however, is evil. The second in command and third in command are good hearted people and their laws are often twisted by the leader in order to keep up with appearances.
They are recently guilty of the kidnapping of Mrawyan Princess Jinxi, which the kind hearted and more powerful empress dee was able to rescue.
With Portal Central's Ootanian Trixi accompanying Jinxi, the army might still be able to do evil dealings, but in a more subtle way. It is portal central's hope in Trixi that she show the Renaissancians the true path of this powerful nation.
As far as Trixi's actions in the RP are going, it looks like the true nature of Portal Central was supposed to follow the second in command.
Joy, I sure hope I got the gist of what your idea behind portal central was and I hope that you approve. I just got the idea from what was role-played and expanded on it. And I hope you don't mind that I made Portal central to being one of the not-so-nice places to visit.

Nope, that's not Portal Central at all. But it may be Dee's impression of it.
Portal Central is not a galaxy or even a planet. It is a hidden complex built and run by Darin Porter and his wife, Dawn. Darin has one ability: make portals. His wife, Dawn, is a powerful telepath who enables him or those he sends to return from any planet to which he makes a portal. He has used this combination of abilities to visit a vast network of planets and has gotten rich on his home world through savvy trading. In his travels, he has also discovered another person who can make portals, Vil, accompanied often by his girlfriend, Eve. Vil has amassed a huge armed force with which to conquer planets and force them to his will. Darin's complex therefore added armed combatants to its number of agents and whenever they find Vil or his soldiers, they usually are in conflict as Darin supports the freedom of the planets he visits.
No one kidnapped Jinxi, despite Trixi's joke that she did. Jinxi managed to sneak through the open portal as the rest of Trixi's group was returning from a first contact with King Rextyr. Darin allowed Jinxi to stay when she proved she was able and willing to be an asset to his group. Actually, only Darin (of those discussed here) is native to the world on which Portal Central is hidden.
While it would be unwise to visit Portal Central uninvited, the truly evil place to avoid would be Vil's home base which is on an unknown planet (just as Portal Central is hidden from Vil's talent, so is Vil's hidden from Darin's) or those planets which he has successfully conquered. Vil will stop at nothing to control as many worlds as he can. Darin protects and defends wherever he finds Vil's handiwork.
