Yes it's my concern as well. We'll be implementing some countermeasures in the future, and on top of that, ask for moderator help. But first we will need to hire more mods as we are currently short on mod resources also. sweatdrop

I see lots of love being pushed for zOMG, which is great. Though I feel Heralds of Chaos offered much more in gameplay, and better monetisation/ways to support development.
Does HoC have the same issues to bring forward, and is it possible that HoC may be revived (I still enjoy playing it when I have time and can find a game)

There was nothing wrong with that game that I recall, other than it not hitting whatever targets management at the time wanted. As the project was cancelled, I don't even know what we still have left from it. We can take a look though and see.

You mentioned recently about levels of control you had to hand over as investors selected CEOs, who had thier own styles and ideas. (Which had definitely been noticeable over the past decade). In mentioning this, does that mean that you have been able to settle investments and now have full control again like prior to 2005? Or is there still certain levels of investor interest/control to meet?

To simply things, today Gaia does have investors who helped us take the company back. However, those investors are very different than the ones we dealt with. They rather Gaia achieve success through me (with the help of CP, L0cke, and staff members) running the show instead of forcing a CEO hired from somewhere else. They do ask for one thing - and that is for us to grow the company. Like anybody who would invest in anything.
Of course, now that I'm in control doesn't mean everything is wonderful. I still need to proof to all Gaians that in fact we can deliver on our promises to bring fun and creativity back to Gaia! Only time will tell! eek

We put a LOT of time into the alchemy system and it definitely deserves an update. For now we have a lot of big issues to tackle such as the inflation issue. We can't focus on it for now and I apologize. sweatdrop One thing at a time! For now we'll be rolling out incremental fixes and updates.

Similar to Alchemy, Crosstitch won't get immediate attention simply because we have big glaring issues to tackle. However we will prioritize these features properly and hope we'll get to most of them in time.

Is it true that zOMG will be back this year?
NOT TRUE! I am still waiting for Swarf to get back to me and then I'll be able to see the amount of work needed to fix the server. After that, we'll give it a shot, but there's no guarantee until we're at least half way there. Some compiling scripts were lost somehow which is a big problem at the moment.

yeah I'm getting sick of 2009, though I hate 2016 even more. I definitely want to inject more 2017 into Gaia and we'll be replacing images here and there very soon! After that I'll look into site menu, then site layout maybe, but I'll probably work on bigger issues before that.

I think it's kind of a chick and egg issue where the more paw base we see, the more items we'll release to support those Gaians, but I do know that we need more items to make that happen. sweatdrop
A couple of artist really love the paw base so I'm sure they will get to add more items regardless.

Is there any way the Hacking, Scamming, and Abuse/Harassment report links could be moved from the bottom of the forums page towards the top of the page? Some users are not aware that those links are there and some mistakenly file tickets to report those problems.

This is something we'll take a look at as we look at site and page re-designs. From a technical standpoint that would be a very easy change though.

No lab features in the near future. Anything we work on will be actual features right off the bat. I hope that we'll get to the point where engineers will get to introduce new ideas on their free time.

I was away from Gaia for a while and sadly when I came back my inventory was just the same unruly clunky charlie foxtrot with fun new glitches
Is there any plans to improve the Inventory system in the future?
An easier way to organize it, besides the tabs we have now?
I'm partially cranky because about 350 items (two types of Philosopher Caches) disappeared somewhere between my locker and the special tab and I still haven't located them a week later.
I get this is an old complaint - I'm not the borg - I don't expect perfection, but easier sorting would be nice.

This is a much bigger infrastructure problem we'll be taking a look at, we'll have to as some accounts are so old and have so many items that the way the system is presently designed is simply not sustainable. Back when the inventory was migrated to this system, it was one of those "nice problems to have." ...Having been around then and being here now I can say it's more a "Holy F*$# what a nightmare!" type of problem.

Since it looks like you're weaning us off the big GC discounts (which is fine), could you consider bringing back the exclusive-item coupons from earlier last year? So, currently, Runway is plagued by certain glitches every first of the month. Pages of the museum are often missing, and your vote count isn't displayed. There's also a glitch that allows you to enter multiple times.
These glitches, naturally, cause a lot of confusion every time a new month rolls around. People get worried they aren't getting any votes, or that their entries haven't been entered and then get even more worried when their gold/GC count keeps going down with every entry.
I'm not sure how easy/hard these glitches might be to fix, but in the meantime, could we possibly get a sticky put in the forum with a list of known glitches? I think it would help a lot to have a place for people to look for for forum regulars to point people to whenever questions come up when the first of the month rolls around.

1-Broken. Outright don't work.
2-Have unadvertised catches.

Hey there! I asked around and those pesky offers are not easy to pinpoint with the way the system is set up. If you run into this with another offer, please take a screenshot of the page you see as well as of the specific offer you are trying to complete and submit a ticket. This is definitely not intended, but the more information you submit regarding the offers and the provider the better equipped we are to get to the bottom of things! Thanks smile

I used to drive up every single week to buy books from Kinokuniya bookstore. Now with online stores I only drive up on special events. I miss the days were we made those trips with L0cke, CP, and friends as we all lived in the same house. whee
We don't have a store for people to drop by and say hi, however we're very likely to start having booths during AX and Fanime!

L0cke is creating a new NPC as we speak. I don't think we have time to make profiles for all of them but at least we'll be having new stuff! I can't wait! whee

I think in the future we will likely re-evaluate the ignore system and how it functions. The present system definitely isn't ideal and has some bugs.
