"This is getting... Better..." Many failed attempts had lead up to this, a semi working drone was the most exciting thing that had happened all week. Sure it only went up and down, but it had a lot of kick! "It must be the remote... Or did I wire it wrong?" It landed softly on her worktable. She sighed, leaning back in her chair. Adding magic to her creations gave them such a spark, but it also could cause a lot of damage. It was just so easy to go overboard with it for her.She remembered how she had found out. The teacher had mentioned something about batteries at one point and she looked it up. Having information on both confirmed, in her mind, that she just had excess amounts of magical energy that were expended so easily. At least in her case. It wasn't that it was hard to control (or maybe that was it) but more often than not she would mean to put a little and a lot more would be produced. The reason she had gotten into combining her machinery with magic was because if she hadn't used her magic in a while, it felt like she was overflowing. When she found out that this was a common thing, she knew that her interests and her talent could commingle.
It was still hard, but at least she could do better. She just needed to practice more and she would get better and be the best. She smiled wide at that thought.
