Normally Thaddeus would set up his gps through his headphones and make the simple walk to the mall, but today he decided to take a cab to the mall on this drizzly day. There would be no point in his trip to the mall if he got soaked and consequently sick from it. "Hey, drop me off directly in front of the doors." The car pulled up, lining the hallowed with the doors as requested. He settled up with the driver before getting out. He stood for a moment before pulling out his white cane. He listened to the bustle around him as he gave an experimental tap in front of his feet. Luckily people tended move out of his way and with the help of his stick and amplified hearing he made quick work to the door.
Unbeknownst to Thaddeus, the driver dropped him off at the west end instead of the east end he normally used. He thought he knew where he was going so he moved to the far side of walkways. Thaddeus continued on his way, listening to his surroundings and stopping when he heard someone too close as they were entering and leaving stores. He came up to the center of the mall, where usually there's an open common area. Which there was, but it wasn't any where close to the one he was imagining on his mental map. The hybrid turned the direction he thought to be correct and continued. When he arrived at his intended location and turned into the entrance he was met with a body. "Oof," he stumbled back, dropping his cane in the process. "Excuse me, I didn't see you there." He smirked at his own joke and felt out to hopefully help whoever he had bumped into up.

 After a conversation on the phone, and much coaxing from her mother who was missing mothering -- or 'smothering' as Doki loved to joke -- the Goblin found herself on a shopping trip. Her mother made the point of certain clothing necessities were in need. Ack! Shopping for such things was always so embarrassing, but she really did need some new ones. Plus, the shopping trip to the mall would give her an excuse to pick up some new CDs and just spend a little time listening to music. If she was lucky, maybe catch others playing the instruments in the back of the store. "Okay... To the mall!" she talked herself up to the task at hand, and headed out on her way. When you're new to an area, you obviously need to know where the mall is.
Doki had ended up spending a rather large amount of time in the "necessities" shop, stocking up on a rather ridiculous amount of bras and undies so she wouldn't have to do this again for another couple years. "Finally..." she sighed as she walked out of the store to be on her merry way to the music store.
Alas, it was not meant to be as someone bumped right into her! "Ack!" the Goblin yelped out as she landed on her aft end, losing hold of her bags as a reaction to trying to catch herself! Being Doki, the next thing she did was look up at the stranger to make sure they were okay, but when she saw how cute he looked, the only thing to come out was a nervous giggle. Of course the girl bounced back from her train of thought to finally respond. "It's okay! If you didn't bump into me, I would have found another way to end up on me rump!" Taking the handsome stranger's hand, Doki worked with him to stand back up. "Sorry abo-- Oh crap! My stuff!" she nearly shrieked out. Her bras and undies had fallen out of the bags and about them on the floor! Not wasting a moment, the girl was back down on the ground, trying so hard to grab up her things before anyone could see them!iMattiebear it's awesome! hope mine is okay! i'm nervouscited XD

The first thing he heard was the yelp, but the next was her giggle, his ear twitched at the sound and a smile broke onto his lips. At least she wasn't mad at him, you would be surprised how often that happened. When she finally took his hand, he helped the other up. His hands lingered before wandering around the backs of hers and up to her wrist. They were soft, small hands in his own, only to be taken away as she desperately went to pick her "crap" up. Thaddeus keeled to help her collect her things. It was almost hilarious to watch as the hallowed blindly groped at the floor. He managed to grab a few of the items. They were soft, silky, lacy. He laughed aloud, "If I didn't know this was the music store, I'd say these were panties." Little did he know how right he was. He gave up looking for more and held them out for her to take.
Before he stood he felt around for his cane. Now upright, Thaddeus tapped and found the wall, he stepped toward it to get out of the flow of mall traffic. He took a moment to listen to what song would be in the "music store". It wasn't the normal music at all. It was some pop sounding song. He furrowed a brow, if this wasn't the music store, then where exactly was he? Thaddeus was a man of habit, so once he found the best way to the only store he went to in the mall, he stuck to it. His mental map went blank. He couldn't picture any of the layout. He was lost. Unsure where he was facing now, he spun slowly in a circle trying to place himself.
"Pardon me," he reached out and stopped his circling once he tapped a shoulder, "If this isn't the music store... Which it doesn't sound like it is.. Where the heck am I?" He hoped he had touched the same person he had just been speaking to and not some other mall goer. Thaddeus sighed and ran a hand through his hair, he gave a tug at the ends of his hair. Being lost wasn't something he liked to feel, his heart was racing.

As much as Doki would have loved to enjoy the smile on his cute face, or his hands gently holding onto hers in an awkward but adorable way, she just had to get her unmentionables off the floor! Kneeling down, the goblin grabbed for everything as passersby snickered and whispered things. Oh that made her cheeks heat up something fierce! But! The thing that just about did the poor thing in? It was the bumped into stranger helping her pick up her silky drawers! Oh. My. Gosh! Her eyes went wide as he teased, but it was then that she came to the realization that he wasn't able to see! That would explain a couple things to her for sure. Her mind raced with counter responses, but she didn't want him to feel bad. "You... you aren't wrong? About the undies..." she whispered that last little part as it was so humiliating to admit. Although she was completely and utterly embarrassed, she couldn't help giggling again. It was kind of funny after all. "Thank you for your help!" she added in a slightly more cheery tone.
She watch as he felt around, wondering what he was after, and spotted his cane. Yup! That confirmed that the stranger -- the very oh so cute stranger -- was blind. She had taken a quick moment to slide the cane in the right direction and smiled as he grasped it. But the way he acted as he stood, prompting her to stand since everything was stuffed back in the bag anyways, made her give a confused look.
Watching him grasp for someone, Doki moved herself in front of him quickly and rested her free hand on his as he held onto her shoulder. His question brought the heat back to her cheeks as she replied softly. "It's a women's clothing store... for... unmentionables." And as he seemed to panic, she reached her small hand out to untangle his from his hair, holding it gently yet firm at the same time. "I know where the music store is. I was thinking about going there myself. Wanna walk there together?" She gave a reassuring squeeze and smiled, though he couldn't see it.iMattiebear yessssssssss! show his cute face!
