Cold hands were stuffed into the pockets of the coat she wore, since under it she was in a dress which did nothing for the cold of winter, the hood was down since the snow had stopped for now. If the snow started back up she'd pull the hood back up, she didn't feel much like catching a chill or getting sick, but for now it was good where it was. Snow white hair was pulled back into a short ponytail, loose strands of too short hair framed her face and blew across it when a breeze kicked up.

Normally this wasn't something she would be doing, out on a solo patrol, and not because she was alone but rather because this was boring. She'd rather be doing something more exciting, and likely dangerous, but she hadn't been able to book a lodge earlier than two weeks from now for a weekend trip to go snowboarding. There was little else she could do in the winter, sky diving, outdoor rock climbing, and several other things she enjoyed doing were off the list till it was warmer out. So she was out here patrolling and keeping warm as best she could, which honestly wasn't all that hard given the nice long puffy coat she had on.

Turning a corner she ignored a few people passing by, her shoes she knew would get looks from some people but anything would would really give her away as one of 'those terrorists' was covered up so she felt no real insecurities with walking about so freely. Were it not winter, and thus no need for such a covering coat, she would certainly not be walking about so carelessly but for now she was safe.

Brushing some hair from her face she caught some older woman staring from her coat to her shoes, which were somewhat open, and managed to give her something of a dirty look for the open staring the older woman was doing. She didn't say anything however, she had some manners, and continued her walk. She hadn't run in to anything so far and was honestly considering calling it a night and going some place to power down and head home. Maybe, since it wasn't all that late, she could grab her gear and make for the indoor rock climbing facility and have some fun before the place closed for the night? It was a tempting idea really - very tempting.

He knew now that his knights had slowly been awakening. Aptera, Anakeion- They had appeared and they were reborn. It cut his heart in knowing that they'd returned before his world was ready for them, that his people were no longer there for them to protect but- They had come. Awakened for their own cause, their Raison D'être.
Castor had long expected and accepted their slumber.
Two knights was a cause to swell his heart with equal parts joy and fear.

Feeling a third knight of his crest made that feeling only deepen.

It had been luck that he was able to feel her. Knights and senshi simply were bright order spots in a plain of chaos. Yet that slight tick, that hint of other, extra made him curious as to what it could have been. It was only as he neared that he felt that tug deep in his mind, on his starseed.

A vague familiarity he'd only experienced with the other two.

When he came to the section of civilians he kept himself hidden in shadows, dark wings curled to help hide glittering armor. Whoever this knight was, would feel him, should feel him. Atop a building he waited, hoping his sense had not been wrong.
Another of his knights had been reborn.

Reaching an intersection, a rather busy one, she stood there glancing back and forth. The light hadn't turned yet, despite being the only one waiting to cross, as much as she wanted to just cross she knew better. She might run into things, without much thought at all, but she wasn't about to run across a busy street especially during the holiday season - drivers were beyond dangerous.

Tapping a foot she took a glance around, something felt...off but not in a bad way. Whatever it was she was clueless but it felt...good, right maybe? Biting down on her bottom lip, tapping increasing as the feeling bothered her and her lack of patients mounted, the white haired knight pulled a hand from her coat pocket, the tip of one award looking sandal, or was it a show, tapped at the ground now. The person who came up next to her even took the time to look over the sorta armored shoes she wore. Ignoring it was a good option, and what she went with.

Beyond that odd feeling, which she couldn't explain, there was something else. Something that was similar to her cousins, both of whom were senshi, but it was a lot more powerful than they were. She'd felt just as powerful before though...but that had been down in the Rift. She'd felt that much power on both sides. The idea, the memories of then, sent a shudder down her back. It was the one time she'd jumped into something and realized she'd jumped into something too deep for her. She should have thought first and jumped later, or something similar. But this signature was just as powerful as a few back then...a royal? Why were they out though....

The thought, still plaguing her mind, was for now pushed aside as she continued for another block till she had reached where she'd been headed to. She doubted any Negaverse agents would be out on the side walks causing trouble so she couldn't just hang around there either, it did no good, and she was supposed to be on the look out for such people and handling them if she happen upon any of them. Her cousins had reminded her, more than once, not to go for anyone above her level unless she had help and normally she would ignore such things as she tended to do. However, after the events in Negaspace she was keen to listening to her cousins when they told her about this...and settled for a middle ground, not that either of her cousins knew that. She would call for help, she had her cell phone in her pocket, and would jump into whatever she happen upon while waiting for back up. It was close to what they wanted from her; and was the best she could manage.

Reaching the park she stepped past the entrance and entered the park. Hands in her pockets she made for an off the path area. When a twig got up into one of her shoes she had to balance on one foot, lift the other, and delicately removed the twig as it poked and stabbed at her foot. Once the twig was out, and tossed onto the ground, Gorner continued on her way between some trees. There was a clearing near by, with a water fountain and a bench, and since she felt no one around here she figured it was safe enough to sit for a few moments.

Follow the energy, and you'd find answers. That was the general rule of thumb. Stalking an energy signature was nothing new to him, but it always did feel a bit sketchy, a bit underhanded. He was a man of action, confrontation and while he could stalk and bide his time, after a while it felt like pulling teeth. He just wanted to cut to the chase, even if that would mean that he'd have to deal with a fight usually.

Castor was just bad a waiting.

Following the energy, he managed to eventually guess who it was from the crowd, but then, the thick coat trying to hide non winter sandals also kind of helped.

"So." He approached.
"Any reason you were walking around with a bunch of civilians or just trying to blend in?"

Turning toward the voice, shifting in on the bench, toward the owner of the energy signature she looked him over before her pale eyes flicked down to her own coat. "You can't tell me you're warm like you are. I sure as hell am not warm in what's under this coat." She stated while crossing one leg over the other. Considering she was sitting on the long coat it had drawn up showering her legs were bare, aside from the sandals. Pale and toned from the time she spent running, climbing, and other various activities. But the goose flesh already was starting to rise.

"I don't care much for freezing my a** off. I'm not going to go jumping roof top to roof top in this coat." As it didn't leave her legs free enough to move, not with out popping the buttons open and possibly messing up the zipper.

"I don't know how anyone is out in this cold weather to be honest." Not with the clothing most of them seemed cursed with. Finally though she did motion for the other to sit while taking the time to rub her legs together as if it would help generate some warmth.

"You feel like some of those back in the Rift." She stated finally, had he been one of the ones there? That had been a hell of a fight and not at all something she wanted to try and do again.

For a second, he stared at her before he laughed. It was full bodied, and it went through him with a certain enthusiasm. "Prince Castor of Hail." He introduced himself. "The cold isn't much a bother for me anymore. Granted enough time and I will feel cold but it is a more.. natural part of I guess. I've grown used to in on my world. It's warmer here so takes a bit longer for me to actually get bothered with it."

Taking off his cape he offered it to her, "Tear it up and wrap it around your legs like a thick covering. It should help significantly."

He didn't go near her for a moment waiting to close the space if she felt him trustworthy. Not every member of order was keen to royals.

"The rift- You could say that, I was one of a few high powered being in attendance. I made a tactical error in allowing it though. I should have been more firm, and stopped them but-" He gave a dismissive wave of his hand to the open sky.
"Senshi and knights of this age want a fast fix and don't think and plan things through. Fools rushed in, and we were treated as we were." He'd become captive, his own petty fight keeping him from their goal, not that it would have done much good.

"If you were at the rift I take it you probably saw what happened in the end."

"Gorner...of well..Castor." As if he didn't know the last part, she was sure he did. Running her fingers through her short hair, wondering for a moment if it was time for a trim yet.

"Your lucky then. The cold and me aren't friends much." She stated before staring up at the offered fabric. Her coat did wonders but the offered cape was helpful as well. "Th-thank you." The surprise clear in her voice as she stood slowly. It felt...off to rip it up though so she did something else. The coat was slowly unbuttoned and unzipped, showing just what sort of uniform she was working with.

Rather than rip it all up she made it into something of a long skirt, wrapping it about her waist and tucking in some of it. Letting it fall down and cover her bare legs. It wasn't pants, it was still a skirt, but it was still added warmth and protection. "I can't imagine dealing with much colder than this - much less what you are implying. I'd be bored and freezing." As most of her favorite activities were better participated in during the warmer months. She did have to rip the cape a bit, as she decided rather suddenly to make them into the pants he suggested. A rip in the front and one in the back and tieing things at the bottoms of her legs. it left a slip open on the insides of her legs but it worked better than what she'd had.

It still felt odd having ripped up the cape, wrong really, but her legs felt nicer. "I suppose then you'd dislike that I'm the sort to run into things...a habit I've always had. I'm surprised my cousins didn't drag me out of the rift or drag me with them." She stated while reseating herself.

"I did see a lot of what happened. I had no way of seeing everything, it was a lot of bodies and a lot was happening." Watching him continue to stand there, and being one for actions first and thought later, she stood and made to grab for his arm and yank him toward the bench to sit down. She had already motioned him to sit and he hadn't. Time for him to sit and stop standing, smiling at him to let him know she wasn't trying to be rude, or anything aside from friendly, she hoped it worked.

"I may have also been trying to spot my cousins in the mess. While they've been senshi longer I'm still older." So she had wanted to find them and make sure they were both ok. Also, she would have dove right into whatever trouble they may have been in had they been in any.

"It seems the whole rift thing was a mess...though it was also exciting. I do think I jumped into the deep end of the pool and found it was too deep." But she knew she would jump into the deep end again..and again...without thought or much for hesitation. She knew herself by now and knew her faults, or at least her biggest one.

He smiled. She was a Castor knight, and he felt a swell of pride and joy in that. Another, alive and reborn. They were coming back. He listened and when she grabbed him and made him sit he nearly stumbled but laughed all the same.
"Bit forceful. But, that was a trait of them. The knight I mean. I do not recall much of them, only that they did not take me at face value. Independence ran thick in their blood. Glad to know that it might still remain." A wink, he let himself relax as he sat, wings fanning out just a bit.

"Not too surprised you have family in the war. But- family has its own problems. While I dislike being a bit of a pessimist, do remember you're a knight, and not a senshi. Theirs is a magic made to combat Chaos, your magic is one of purpose. To what that purpose is however." Hands held out he left it unsaid. The purpose of a Knights magic was their own, he'd not claim to understand it.

"But we digress. You're a knight of my world. Tell me, do you have questions for me? I may have found you, but I fear I have been a poor prince for not attending and making myself available." Never mind he'd been captive for months.

"Well then, perhaps it's something from the past reborn as well." Speaking of how forceful she could be. Shrugging her shoulders as she did so. She was fine with how she was, she couldn't imagine being any other way. If she was any other way than she simply wasn't her...but rather someone or something else...and that she didn't like the idea of, and who would? "Perhaps, maybe others...if there are others are the same then?" She offered up. She hadn't met any other Castor knights so if there were any - she was clueless.

"Of course, I've learned that by seeing what they can do...cold and heat...and they are twins - it's fitting." She said smiling more a she spoke. Her cousins made a good team and their spheres fit them both, it was amusing however how they had such opposing spheres.

She would, of course, keep in mind what he'd said though...at least for as long as she could. It would always be there...somewhere in the back of her mind. It just wouldn't always be in the forefront.

"I can't say I know what to ask. I'd ask if you think there is anything I should know - anything important...or meaningful. Anything you'd like for me, or your knights in general, to know." Any questions she'd had thus far she had gone to one cousin or the other about. They were, as he'd said, senshi but they at least knew about the war going on and the basics of that. They didn't know about being a knight as much as another knight would...but it worked.

Castor nodded in a mild acceptance. Knights were not senshi, and at best he could only offer insight to his world, to it's history and culture. But that was of a past life, a world that had since become remote and distant.

"I think what every Castor knight should know is to simply live by the way of what was once our people. That we were a people of honor and glory. Battle held no purpose if only for the sake of conflict. We fought for glory, but we also fought for us. For our pride and people. We fought chaos because we understood that while it had it's place, it was not one that would grant us anything but a meaningless discord. Brotherhood, devotion, force. Tenants of our people. They sounded simpler than they were, but in the end, our people were not mine or yours, they were ours. Knights were apart of Castor even if not native. You and your brothers and sisters were our brothers and sisters. That is what I remember. That is your past. That was the legacy they left behind." A small mournful tone he folded his hands.

"the only thing I would impose upon any of the knights now is to not act recklessly, and be mindful that you carry the future of more than one lifetime in your care. Knights chose their vocation on Castor, but all knights fought for those who could not. They'd fight to protect what was theirs."

He lost that melancholic tone with a smile.
"Make sense?"

Sitting there she listened to the other speak, taking in what he said. Honor and glory she could understand though this was a war...and you couldn't always do what was considered, at least by many, to be honorable. Sometimes dirty tactics, which most would consider dishonorable, were better off used rather than something more up front. But she wasn't sure if that's how he meant it, not having memories of a past she couldn't be sure really. Glory however she did understand, came with winning or doing well...at least that's how she figured it.

While she wasn't sure what she thought on why the people then, on Castor, fought she did understand the comments about chaos and such. That made sense, chaos should be needed for some sort of...balance...but it wasn't helpful really, if only due to it being unpredictable.

"A lot of things sound simpler than they are. Just how it goes." She responded shrugging her shoulders. "Well, the past seems to be returning...at least as far as people go." She didn't think anything else from the past had returned. No planet full of people or anything like that. But at least they were returning? That was something.

Ohhh...not to act recklessly...that would be hard for her. That was a bad habit of hers - diving right into things. I mean it would all, if or when she died pass on again, but to think she was holding that. "So I've heard we did, and still do now."

Now...did she have any questions for him. Hmm... "I guess, considering I jumped right into the negaverse's home without thought...I should ask about ther members. Any to watch out for, any members of interest..." Anything she really needed to be careful about, so she didn't get into a fight she had no way of handling. Should she also ask what to do if she got in way too deep? It was an idea...

Arms crossed, Castor though about how to answer her.
"Avoid any who's power you can feel on your skin. Your gut instinct says to run, says danger? Run. Run and do not look back. Frankly, as you are, you are weak, and a prime target for chaos. If any in particular... Alkiad." He said her name with a sad sigh.
"She is dangerous for numerous reasons, and the bond between us is.. ours. She would harm you to harm me. She was once a senshi, and when she fell I mourned her. She is, was, one I will always wish I could have helped, could have saved. But she is not Alkaid the senshi any longer, and should you cross paths with her, flee. Her powers are unique, and her tongue silver. Do not harass those of the mirror court, as they are autonomous. Chaos yes, but we share an alike foe in the negaverse. Hvergelmir is a good resource for knights, though we disagree on tactics. Camalot is as well, a good man who would aid you should you ask. I know of Celsus and he is to my knowledge the most loyal of Chronos's knights. The Zodiac princess I mean. Just be mindful of those who's powers are above your own and do not challenge that which is unknown to you. Risks taken are not always worth the rewards."

"Alkaid?" That wasn't a name she'd ever heard, though she didn't really know anyone by name - not that she was saying that though...it didn't matter. The idea of avoiding those who felt like that, that were that strong, she would have ignored previous to the invasion of the Negaverse's home but she was willing to take the words into consideration.

Listening to him speak of her she felt for him. It sounded like an emotional wound which wasn't going to heal any time soon. Hesitating for a moment she reached out and set a hand on his shoulder. "I'll watch for her. I don't plan to change sides...I would not lose my family for anything. I don't care for that path anyway...it sounds like they wear chains of sorts...I rather like being free." If it wasn't obvious already by her very nature. She was one who did things on a whim...went and did things simply for the rush and the thrill - to simply do.

"I've never met the ones you mentioned...I'll try and seek some of them out. I'm sure they'll have more information than my cousins do. It would be nice to know what I can."

Then she asked the next important questions. "If you want me to avoid Alkaid...what does she look like? What does she feel like if she is different?" She would like to avoid this one. It was likely the one thing she would surely do, since it seemed so important...and was likely to yield the worst consequences for her.

She would keep his words in mind about the mirror court as well. If she could work with them it was all the better for her, less enemies was a nice idea. She was willing to meet them and find out about them...especially if she wanted to know what to watch out for, to not attack.
