Location: Iron Heights

"Power outages have been noted across both Keystone and Central City, the cause is yet unknown, but many experts believe that it may be linked to the ongoing storm--" Damn. The news report from the radio had cut off. Isolated within his cell, Eobard Thawne, or more famously known as, Professor Zoom, had listened intently to the radio that one of the many security guards had. After his last battle with the Flash, he was subdued and charged for his crimes, namely the murder of Nora Allen and framing Henry Allen. Eobard regretted killing Nora, for it had not weakened the spirit of the Flash in the long run - but they were connected now, a lot more than both would care to admit.

"--See to it that the generators are operational within ten minutes, we can't risk one of these psycho meta's getting loose--" He had overheard one of the leading directors of Iron Heights say to a nearby security guard. He had a stroke of genius, and seized his opportunity. "Ouch, must be hard. More slave than guard. Eobard smugly shouted out of his cell. The security guard smacked his fist against the cell door, and shouted for him to be quiet. Smirking, Eobard rubbed his tongue across his teeth, and demeaned him ever further. "You know, you are by far the most uninteresting person I have ever met from this century. The security guard smacked the door once more, and shouted into him. "Shut your mouth, Thawne, or I'll shut it for you." The lights began to flicker, he had bought himself enough time. "Really? I think that'd be the most useful thing you'll ever do in your miserable life." The security guard had had enough, and slammed open the cell door. Taking out his baton, he flared his nostrils as he walked towards Thawne. "They should have put me in those restraints for your sake!" The guard raised his baton as the lights flickered once more. Within that small flicker of the electricity jumping, Zoom had phased his molecules through the faltering machinery, and launched at the guard at superspeed, holding him against the wall by his throat. "Oh, be careful what you wish for my friend. Before the security guard could even react, Professor Zoom had changed the mans appearance to look like his own by vibrating his molecules, and locked him within the machine - muzzled. Now, time for the escape of the century.

Eobard embraced the speed rushing back to him, a thrill that almost felt foreign to him. He was to arouse no suspicion, he could not let the Flash, or any of his band of merry men know that he had escaped - just yet. Vibrating his own molecules, his eyes began to glow red, emitting powerful bursts of the negative speedforce, as he launched towards a wall and phased out. He ran faster than that of which the eye could visibly perceive, and straight away from Iron Heights.

All of those years rotting in there, Zoom had a lot to catch up on. The Flash was having his perfect life, that is unforgivable. However, those years locked up had given him reflection, The Flash had his friends, why could Eobard not have his own? A group of like minded individuals, who have their own reasons to join a mutually beneficial group for the greater good, and self-preservation. All they would need is someone to bring them all together, and to discuss their plans. He turned his head for the outskirts of Gotham City, launching off at the speed of light. He knew of a secure place where he could bring these individuals together.
