Out after curfew, Cara knew she was going to be in trouble when she eventually got back to the school campus. But honestly, the albinistic young lady didn't really care. St. Mag's was annoying at best and simply terrible at worst, the strict rules and discipline enforced there enough to make her want to rip her hair out in frustration.

Besides, she'd gotten in another fight today and had absolutely no intention of going back until she was forced back. Absently kicking a stray soda can, she tried to duck out of sight when she thought she heard footsteps. Nursing her bruised knuckles absently, she grumbled wordlessly and leaned back against a wall.

Fighting and stealing was all she was good for, wasn't it?

A person carrying a cat was kind of an unusual sight at this time of day, but one Cara was more than willing to ignore - at least, until the cat ran over to her and started talking. Cara rubbed her eyes, wincing as she realized beleatedly she'd used the hand with her split knuckles to do it.

"...Uhm. Alright. Where's th' speaker setup? You're cute, kitty, and damn well-trained, but I saw this trick when Up came out."

Nonetheless, she did kneel to give the little white cat a friendly scratch behind the ear, turning to the one who had carried her over curiously. "Nice trick - you a performer?"

Cara raised an eyebrow, but let the cat paw at her as she squinted suspiciously at Afon. "Right.... you do realize how crazy that sounds, right?" Looking back to the 'talking' cat, she shrugged and offered a grin. "Damn, you're cute, kitty-cat. Too bad it's a dog I want or you'd be convincing me to end up a cat person after all."

She winced a little as her knuckles were inspected, then pulled her hand away and shook it out with a shrug and a grin. "'s what people get for calling me a circus freak, if you ask me. If they wanna use words as weapons they can sure as hell deal with fists as weapons as a result."

"Mmm, depends on the dog," Cara countered, but she was snickering. Whoever was voicing this cat was doing a good job, and she could appreciate a show well-done, even though at this hour it was probably some elaborate scheme to rob her or something.

Not that she had anything on her to steal - all her money was back at the school as she saved up everything she could to put toward getting herself a dog as soon as she had somewhere to stay. So, since she didn't have any money on her, why not enjoy the show, possibly-sinister purpose or not?

"Depends. I ain't gonna take anything that'll land me in juvie, y'know."

"Can if that property's a knife," Cara muttered, but took the pen anyway - now where had that come from? Sleight-of-hand she understood, but how could a cat pull that off? It was a pretty pen, at least, all silver and white. "Well, at least it's not one of those dorky-a** feathered pens," she said, looking it over thoughtfully.

And... well, she wasn't entirely certain why, but there were these words forming in her head (Was this what they called intrusive thoughts?), and spilling out her mouth before she could stop herself - albeit they were so wierd sounding that she couldn't help but make a face as she did so.

"Uh... Forte power, make up?"

What the heck was this?!?!

"Forte's a place?" The newly-awoken senshi asked, checking out her outfit in a mixture of awe and confusion. "Wait - wait, you really are talking? And I'm - I'm - oh god don't tell me I'm some kinda lich like Madoka," she groaned, before poking experimentally at the top of her fuku.

"....Please tell me this ain't gonna fall and leave me flashin' everyone in DC," she muttered. poking another time or two before finally turning her full attention back onto the uh.... not quite a cat.

"Seriously. Please tell me you ain't after my soul to stop entropy from bein' a thing."

"You express emotion, that's already a point in your favor," Forte said, shifting experimentally and moving around to see if anything shifted or threatened to fall. "I hope not - I mean, I'm not above using the tools I've been given in a fight but I'd rather not have to explain sunburn on areas that shouldn't see the sun."

She looked between the cat and page, more curious than anything else now, and frowned. "Hit more? Usually I'm the one in trouble for being too quick to use my fists..."

Why was the world turning upside down on her?
