Happy New Years! As we all know, a New Year means a fresh start, so in honor of this New Years Tradition, for the next two weeks, (Jan 1 - Jan 14), we're holding an EXP Reset Event!
What is an EXP Reset? It's just what it sounds like, your pokemon at whatever EXP level it's at, be it 14/36 or 30/50 will be reset to the base -/15, but your pokemon can keep it's current level and whatever EXP it has during the reset, making it much easier to level up quickly and take some pressure off of the training grind. For instance, if a pokemon's EXP was reset at 30/50, it would go down to 30/15, and then grow a level, and be left with 15/16 EXP, and start from there.
Please note that all RNGs for the EXP Reset
must be done in this thread, and that we are allowing
one EXP reset per character.
To set up your EXP Reset, prepare your character's active party by arranging their team with pokemon who you want to receive an EXP reset for. When you're ready, make a post in this thread,
quoting a mod, noting in your post which character you are generating the reset for, and labeling each pokemon in your active party by number in the order they are set up in your post, then RNG which one will get the reset!
By preparing a team, we don't mean sticking one pokemon in your active party because that's the only one you want to reset. If your character only has one or two pokemon, that's one thing, but we ask that if you have multiple pokemon, you fill your character's active party with as many pokemon as they are able. So if your character has four pokemon, make sure they're all in the active party, if your character has 12 pokemon, make sure six are in the active party.
That's not all! If you haven't seen it yet, there's a huge surprise and awesome Mystery Egg Giveaway going on
Here, so be sure to check it out!
As a fair warning here and now,
under no circumstances should any posts be deleted in this thread. If a mod sees that a post has been deleted, the person responsible will
not be allowed to participate in the event. Additionally, if a mod notices that they have been
double-quoted for the same EXP RNG post, they will assume that the order of the pokemon has been tampered with, and the offender will
not be allowed to participate in the event. If for some reason you need to edit, alert your quoted mod before hand and
wait for their approval before editing. If you do not quote a mod in your EXP Reset RNG post, that post
will not count, and you will have to re-roll with a mod quoted.
