Kylar landed on the rooftop of an empty home within Port Perom, Ashral cradled gently in his arms. The poor misguided soul, she was actually kind of cute when she wasn't sneering or trying to kill you. Which was why he landed, he wanted to keep her that way. He was about twenty minutes from the hotel where he had ambushed the pair and wanted to make sure that the malice didn't wake up any time soon.

After setting Ashral down on the rooftop he produced a spare dose of the tranquilizer and injected it into the malice. She would sleep soundly, at least until this was finished. Leaving her on the rooftop for a moment he moved to the ground checking the house for any sign of an alarm system. Three complete rounds of the house front and back, that's how many times he checked before being satisfied that there wasn't likely an alarm if the door opened. Returning to the rooftop, Kylar collected the girl within his arms and moved down to the ground.

Kylar approached the door, the deadbolt sliding into an open position as he carefully grasped the handle and turned. The door opened with a creak, the pair entering before closing the door. The deadbolt snapped shut once more, a second lock appearing over top of it. An eye shaped keyhole formed a barrier around the lock preventing access to the deadbolt below.

Moving deeper into the house, Kylar listened to make sure that no one else was inside of the house. It looked empty from the outside, but it was night time and they could just have been sleeping. Listening closely he could only hear the breathing of two people, Ashral and himself. Relaxing a bit he moved into the first bedroom he could find and set Ashral on the bed.

After a quick search of the rest of the house, Kylar pulled a chair from the kitchen into the bedroom. He moved several things around the room before tethering Ashrals arms and legs to the bed. He now sat in the chair he had brought into the room sitting beside the bed with an end table in reach, several doses of tranquilizer on it in case Ashral began to stir. The final preparation, Kylar pulled out a key and shifted it into a small blade that he tucked between the mattress and box-spring, just in case.

The next several hours passed uneventfully. Kylar sat beside the bed focusing his power inward attempting unlock something hidden within himself. He repeated the process over and over, each time only increasing his power slightly. He had reached a wall and was trying to force his way through it, but the process was slow. Each time he attempted to access more power he chipped away at it slowly, a lengthy process that was taking much longer than anticipated. Gathering the power to take a small fragment of the soul was easy, the entire thing however was proving much more difficult.

Hours passed as night shifted into day, although luckily no one returned home. In addition to prolonging the entire ordeal, he would have had to clean up a mess since he didn't want to be seen with a body. The morning continued much like the night, repeated attempts to tear down the wall he had reached.

Early afternoon, the wall had finally been breached, for better or worse. Pain, it rang throughout his entire being as the wall tore down. Apparently he hadn't been meant to cross that threshold for a reason. Power surged trough his body as he ears, eyes and nose began to bleed. His body surged with power, more than it could handle, with no current outlet. The pain would have been crippling if not for the changes in his body that Yoko had caused, although perhaps without those changes he could have handled the power.

Kylar removed the blade from the mattress standing up with some difficulty over top of Ashral. His vision blurred as the power burned through him, his body collapsing as he stabbed downwards into the malice. The power burned it's way through him and into the blade, finding its way into the helpless girl. He struggled to complete the process, his body wanting to release the blade and collapse. The soul within the body was removed, drawn into his own by the blade.

For an instance, the two became one. Two souls, one body, their presences intermingling leaving a lasting mark upon him. Before Ashral could take advantage of their union he removed a key from his pocket, redirecting her soul as he shaped into a sword. Perhaps a memory within her own soul, he didn't guide the shape or size of the blade so much as it knew how it was supposed to be, reforming into Ashrals own blade, the blade that housed her soul before it had merged with Hexxis.

Kylar collapsed, a small pool of blood around his face as he lost consciousness. The rest of the evening passed as he slept, the soulless body of the woman Ashral had inhabited bleeding out beneath him. It wasn't til several hours later at the sound of a siren, that he awoke. Blood was everywhere and obviously the owner of the house had returned home to find they were locked out of their own home. The police, he couldn't be seen like this not if he wished to remain out of sight from the renegades and mercenaries.

Picking up the sword before rushing towards a window, Kylar attempted to unlock it before he arrived but felt only a burning sensation in the back of his head. He didn't have time to think about it, but he would know in time that surpassing his limit had taken it's toll on him, something had been destroyed in the feedback, but it would allow new opportunities. He undid the latch and rolled out of the window before sprinting across the yard and getting as far as possible from the property before the police entered and the body was found.

The police upon discovering the body contacted paramedics that took the comatose body that Ashral had resided in to the nearby hospital where they stabilized a Jane Doe before the report went out in the news about an unknown woman found stabbed in a local household.
