Amarone 1
Patience was not her strong suit, and she was being oh so very patient. She waited anxiously as the leaders spoke with the newcomers, watching anxiously and wondering when it would be her turn to join them. She wanted to see their ships, know more about their inventions, and see if it was really true that they were offering a trip back to their home.
Oh, how amazing would that be?
A world build on innovation and greater good, a world she knew she belonged in. She wanted to belong, to find a welcome place for her to just be the awkward, crazy, confusing person she was. All she needed to do was find an opening and approach them, and it seemed like now was her chance.
As the crowds dispersed and the guards finally stood down, Amarone moved closer to the group of workers and the smoking ship. Others seemed interested, but wary. As she observed, she bounced a bit in giddy excitement, eyes wide and mouth with a bright, excited smile.

Raeka 1
The young hybrid mostly stuck back by the ships, observing the initial evaluation while two of the party entertained the crowd. These new people, filled with bright colors and unique features, were so excited for the knowledge. However there were still some uncertain ones, which made her slightly uneasy. There was always the risk that they wouldn't be accepted, wouldn't be welcome, and possibly would be killed.
However, their leaders seemed to work well with each other, and suddenly their group was being invited for food and provided with accommodations for the night. Even if some made a fuss of distrust, the first contact went well, leaving Raeka mostly alone with the initial maintenance crew.
Keeping her cowl and goggles on to avoid any unnecessary notice as it seemed hybrids weren't a commonality here, Raeka peered on and hoped they wouldn't be rushed by the lingering curious crowd.
