Snow held onto his older sister's hand as he followed by her side, wondering where she was taking him. He had come home from the academy to have Natsumi tell him she had a surprise for him, instructing him to get dressed for the cold weather and get ready for a little bit of walking. Snow did as his sister said of course, curious as to what his sister was up to. What was this surprise his sister had told him about?

The whole way there so far he had been trying to guess what it could be, asking Natsumi every time a new idea of what it could be popped into his head, which was quite often ", Natsumi! Is it a trip to the grocery store to get some of my favorite melon bread? Oh! Could it be we are going to the library? Or maybe we are going to an art museum! I hear there is an exhibit on the Kumiho's art and culture at that private gallery on 9th. That would be cool to go to right?" So far he hadn't said what the surprise was, but at this rate he would say it in no time.

He noticed how they were near the park, knowing they had set up some winter things so people would still go to the park despite the cold. The thing that most interested Snow about the winter park activities was the ice rink, and it seemed that was where they were going. Once there, he looked between the ice rink at the park and his older sister for a bit, wondering if this really was the surprise. It seemed like it was, and honestly if it was then it was an amazing surprise.

"Are we going to that ice rink?! That would be so cool if it was!" Then again, it could be that this was just where they would be entering, and they were not going to be ice skating. However, it didn't seem like they would be just entering here.

"Ice skating!" He jumped up and down for a bit before sitting down so his sister could help put his ice skates on their parents had gotten him, the skates being lime green, a normal purple, light purple, and white. There was a silhouette of an ice skater on the sides of them, which Snow found to be cool.
As he waited for Natsumi to finish putting on her skates, he rocked his feet back and forth, noticing how heavy the skates really were. Would he be able to even skate with these? After all, they were heavier than any other pair of shoes he had worn before ", These are heavy sis. Do you think I will be strong enough to move around on the ice with them?"

He gave his sister a nod, understanding what she was saying. Their parents had always stressed that you don't give up when things were hard, but kept going ", Mommy and daddy have taught us both well. Now come on!" He began to motion toward the ice, ready to head out onto the cold surface. He was sure it wouldn't be easy, but with Natsumi by his side Snow knew he would be safe, and have lots of fun too! ", We better hurry before we run out of time to be out here. I want to see how well I do on the ice!"

Careful when stepping onto the ice, he let his sister guide him for the first bit, getting used to how he was supposed to stand on the ice. After a little bit he started to try and skate forward, almost slipping but catching himself. Wow, this was going to be hard, but that only made Snow want to try at it even more. It didn't take long for him to start moving around the ice with Natsuimi's help, getting a grasp of it quickly. Most of the other first time skaters were not doing as good as him already, but he wasn't paying attention. Right now it was just big sister and him time ", How am I doing?"

"I would want to go ice skating again," he replied, heading over to the bench and undoing his shoe laces for Natsumi. He wanted to help her out some, especially since she had brought him here in the first place ", Natsumi, thank you," he was quick to give her a hug, thankful for the time she had taken to bring him here. He couldn't ask for a better older sister ", I love ice skating. It is so much fun!"
