Which deity blessed your character and marked them for recruitment? Hera
What makes them fit within the sphere of this particular god? Elias is beyond loyal: sacrificing friends, college and relationships to keep up on his families' finances. PERSONALITY
- [+]Loyal- Generous – Protective–Tenacious-Adaptable[+]
"Practice makes perfect": Elias can’t help himself from cooking. Cooking is part of his daily ritual, and is one of his favorite stress relievers. Once he finds a skill or trade he wants to master, he works on it constantly. Although, he never fully mastered Polish.
"Having children makes you no more a parent than owning a piano makes you a pianist”: But being surrounded by children 6 days out of the week just might. Elias loves children, especially his dozen or more little cousins. Elias is the family’s go to babysitter (along side of his grandparents) because he knows just how to wear them down and keep them out of trouble.
"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf": None of Elias' co-workers would say he is worldly, but he is willing to try new things and work to acquire new skills. And no, he can't surf, but if offered the chance he would certainly try!
“Charity begins at home”: After Elias finishes prepping food to cook, he starts mass texting all of his friends and family to come over. It’s a weekly occurrence, one he learned from his grandparents who would invite the whole neighborhood to Sunday dinner. He gives half of his income to his grandparents who divide it among his needy aunts, uncles and cousins.
[-]Envious – Confrontational – Vigilant –Obsessive[-]
"Foresight is better than hindsight": Elias has always been cautious and somewhat calculating when it comes to making decisions. He is very rarely impulsive. He’s a “hope for the best, prepare for the worst” sort of fellow, his freezer is stocked with prepared meals.
"The grass is always greener on the other side": His upbringing was extremely modest: all of his clothes were hand sewn, hand-me-downs that his grandmother made for his older cousins. Elias was always envious of his classmates through his schooling years, and got into a few scuffles over his attire.
“If you play with fire, you’ll get burned”: No one would say Eli has a hot temper, but he certainly doesn’t stand to be (or see others be) disrespected. More often than not, he takes situations to a whole other level even when a comment is said in jest.
“If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again”: Elias is obsessive. His tenacity and drive can lead him to forget to sleep, to eat, or to even bathe for days on end.
[?]Proverbial: Randomly, Elias spouts proverbs, adages and other cliché quips like his grandfather.
