Physical Description: Rolahi has gold eyes, is about 5'8 and slim with short chestnut hair and a nose ring.
Personality: Like her dragon Rolahi is a go getter, she is never one to sit by when there is work or adventure to be had or done. If there is something interesting going on she wants to be in the middle of it. She can be a bit of a large pest in this way sometimes, for people who want a little peace and quiet around her. She is loud, boisterous and will defend her friends to her last breath. She will step in when others are fighting as well, as long as she has a connection to one of the combatants. She tends to make rash decisions and goes into battle with all her guns blazing.

History: Rolahi belonged to the Tannercraft and was searched at 20 at a hold beholden to Western Weyr, she left the weyr at the same time as another green rider, who had followed her out. Rolahi was more not wanting to be so much under such a large organization, she felt lost in the crowd and she wanted freedom so bad it made her teeth hurt.

She didn't have much against the weyr other than they told her what to do, it was over crowded for her taste and after a while that rankled more than she could bear. She has no family left, her mother died when she was young and her father while she was at the weyr which had also been the last straw for her staying.

As she left the weyr before thread fell, Ro and her dragon have never fought thread, despite her dragons urge to. Rolahi keeps a tight mental hold on Zaleeth when thread falls to prevent her flying out to be scored.

She joined a pirate band along with the other green rider Rikyzya, in the hopes that the action there would be more to her liking; in the company of riders but not nearly as big as her former weyr.

Rolahi and Rikyzia had been friends at the weyr they had both been close to L'saen a Blue rider specialized in search, he had been an out and out nice guy but he unlike them really seemed to enjoy his life at the weyr, Rolahi was sad to leave him.

Rolahi had had a few one night stands with other boys at the weyr, some dragon riders, some just weyr folk but no one had captured her heart good and true so she wasn't leaving behind a lost love or anything. She had made really good friends with one of the cooks and would miss her kind advice but other than that she hadn't connected with too many people there.

However after she lost her best friend to a storm and never saw the girl or her dragon again, Zaleeth confirming that they were gone, she returned to Western Weyr. She had missed it, the comraderie and sense of belonging, she didn't want to drift about with no future for forever.

Upon her return to Western she chose a traditional cave for privacies sake, she and Zaleeth settled back into the routine. Soon she would try to train up to join a wing.

Physical Description: One of the longer dragons Zaleeth is muscular and athletic, she is a powerhouse and is not afraid to show it off during flights.
Personality: A firecracker in lime green, she is a dragon everyone seems to notice because she gives them no choice with flamboyant displays. She is the reliable hard worker that doesn't mind being in the spot light. She is also very loyal to the few people other then her rider who earn her trust. Which can be hard to do depending on that persons vibes.

How was your rider fighting Thread? Riders who are not part of a Weyr do not get to participate in fighting Thread. That's ultimately left up to Weyr riders. Firestone is also essentially unavailable as it's all going right to the different Weyrs on Pern. While I understand pirates steal things, there's not much of a way for a dragonrider to go battle Thread when they're not in a Weyr and it is incredibly deadly. There are reasons wingridersspend most of their day drilling.

Your character's dragon is going to want to be out fighting, firestone or no firestone. How is she handling her dragons need to go out and fight when they're essentially unprepared?

Also, where is she? Is she part of the pirate group, coast guard group, or somewhere else? If she can't handle being told what to do by a Weyr, how is she going to handle living in one of those groups? Or is she on her own?

I just feel like her history is really sparse for 25 Turns of life. While at the Weyr did she make any friends? Did she have any romances? Western Weyr isn't like High Reaches. Before Thread they didn't really care what their people did after they graduated Weyrling Training, so she probably wasn't bossed arond or told what to do much at all. That was up to her. They only started getting on a strict schedule with Thread's return and a need to get their riders in shape.
