Physical Description: Dark grey eyes, short, curly brown hair, 6'4 with a wrap around earring. Average build with lean muscle. Average looks as well with a lovely smile. A faster then average runner and he can swim.
Personality: Upbeat and adventurous, he and his companions at Western often sneak off to remote islands to chill. He is active socially and tries to check up on candidates and riders alike. He likes to build relationships with people and aid them in their transition in the weyr if they were searched, weather or not he was the one who searched them. He can argue with the best of them but prefers when voices remain moderate and the topic be a light one. If he has to go all out in an argument he becomes cold and calculating which he does not enjoy.
He can be childish when things don't go his way, pouting alone or refusing to talk. He can be strong willed and stubborn and set in his ways over things that mean a lot to him. Sometimes what he says might not be sensitive to others feelings, he will usually tell the truth as he sees it whether or not the person in question may be hurt by the words.
History: He was searched at age 17 for the Weyr along with another girl from his seahold (Rykyzia), it took a turn for him to impress but he elected to stay at the Weyr during that time to get a real feel for the life, if it had turned out not to be he could have simply gone home. His Father was a middle aged seaman and his mother was a transfer from a hold focused on farming. She adapted well to seahold life and often took what opportunity she could in her spare time to walk the shores when her son was young, giving him an appreciation for nature that was not entirely based on the ocean.
As he came to Western Weyr and not High Reaches, he was almost relieved to have the rules much more bendable here, it was hard enough changing lives as a rider, it was better that things were more flexible and in his opinion fair here.
The return of thread was hard on his hold, quite a few people had been out when the thread came and some people he knew were injured badly, one person didn't make it. He himself hasn't been scored yet but Solouth has a small burn on his right wing from thread on the arm, fortunately they were able to go between before the thread got too deep into the muscle. L'saen still feels guilty that he didn't guide his dragon better to avoid scoring, it was in their third encounter with thread.

Physical Description: Longer then average wings
Personality: Hes only grumpy when he is hungry as most dragons probably are, he has a calm overall happy personality. He loves to fly, and fly fast, especially out on search, he likes to show off his wings when they visit holds and halls and often poses in the background while his rider talks to the lord holders and other receivers. He can be a bit vain..where his rider is not, Solouth will show off for them both.
