█ BACKGROUND
Frey Adalric was the only child of a struggling working class family on the east side of Saxon. His father was a human salaryman, a pushover of a man when it came to his wife, but well-meaning and decent. His mother, a ghoul of a cool demeanor and steely personality with an aversion to working for a living, played the attentive mother and housewife. It was for this reason that she married Frey's father, who did his best to support his wife and, eventually their only son. Growing up, Frey knew his mother to be devoted, kind, and affectionate; the perfect loving mother. His father was hardly involved at home, often working late nights in order to make sure the house note was paid and the electricity was kept on. The three of them lived in relative peace for the first 10 years of his life, until his father passed away suddenly in a car accident. The police would later report that the man had fallen asleep at the wheel, swerving into oncoming traffic and likely died upon impact, possibly without having woken up. Things were never quite the same, after that.
His mother quietly withdrew from Frey. Forced to seek employment, she now spent her energies making money to support herself and her growing boy. Frey was never sure what she did for a living, but she was always out of the house with new people. Frey became quiet and did his best to stay out of the way. At eighteen, he went on study at University with a full scholarship, his mother was more than happy to send him off. For the past two years, Frey has been feeling the stress and pressure of a lonely, but normal, university life.
