Bio: In his life many things had gone right. he met the love of his life married her and had two lovely children. he managed to get elected to the role of mayor and it seemed he did good enough that very few people had tried to send assassins to his door. he managed to be raised by his father and mother without any scaring incident in his life, a testament to his parents resolve. something he took with him when he buried them. many years past. He saw two mortals ascend to the throne of the gods. he witnessed the founding and five uprisings of the cult of onera, he witnessed the first eruption of Mt. Adara, he remembered thinking how terrifying the sky looked, his parents shielding him from anything to dark at the young age he was. he was one of the first converts in the religion of ethe.
Joachim's life was filled with booth good and bad, and the only day that truly tested him or darkened his soul was the second eruption. holding his son and wife dead and charred corpses broke him. for a time his only light was his daughter, Ambrosia was the last line holding his will to live. to much work was left to be done. and he as the mayor of one of the last remaining strongholds of ethian culture. he would keep doing his job till he was not needed anymore. then. then there would be time to properly morn.

Bio:
Meeting his younger sister after so long lit a spark in the old man. Remembering his time as a youth till know one thing became clear to him. For Etherland to survive he would have to take power.

As the school began to form and to move from his home. The mayor became even more busy. He was elected to be head of the school until such a time that he could choose someone to take the position from him.

Using his power as mayor and the head of school, he spend 3 months integrating the school life into Etherland normalcy making Etherland a defacto part of the school trough its use for lodging, food and entertainment.

bellriss school system set the mayor back a few months in his plans for truly opening the school to other people from other lands. tho he did like some of the ideas he had heard where begin implemented in the bellrissian republic, he began to sponsor along with one of the schools benefactors all the Etherland citizens who wanted to get an education.

the city Guard has been given a 3 month course on how to interact with citizens to help prevent further crime, This has led to the crime rates going down.

the city has also begun to give out permits to work officially for the city or the school which brings with it a tax deduction along with other perks, as long as the person can pass a test from the school. This has led to the elderly and even more of the younger members of the population learning to read more, or leaving etherland to work in places less restrictive.

Joachims first act has been the creation of a council of other elected officials to help oversee a lot of the projects he has taken on. the members would work for one year before the public gets to vote again. the elections are overseen by the mayor himself.

the first election has passed. And the mayor of Etherland can finally get some sleep. he was worked and slaved harder then he had in decades, creating many new rules and incentives in etherland for the people of etherland. the true test of his plans are yet to come. with the new teachers he has hired to teach the children and adults more of the world, from botonay to this new found science philosophy.

Etherland will be made into a symbol of what he holds dear. this will be his answer to his sister and to anyone who comes to him. the distillment of knowledge shall make etherland not only strong. but crucial.

Goal: to usher etherland into the future. to protect his daughter as best he can in these trying times by helping etherland and through extension ethe and the empire
