(Patris' Blood-Curdling Battle of Wits (and Riddles)! A Christmas Nightmare To Be Negated!)

"Jiiiiii~"
"Mph! Hmf mhf!"
"Patris, why do you have Bel tied up? And why are you staring at him, while holding an axe?"
"*Tee hee* Oh, you shouldn't ask such silly questions, Sera-chan! Patris and I are just playing a little game."
"Thaaat's enough of that. I'm almost...definitely scared to ask, but we'll be interfering before this gets any further out of hand."
"*Hmph!* Just when it was getting good. Well, Bel-kun must have learned his lesson about standing between me and Papa by now..."
"*rips the tape off of Bel's mouth* It sounds like this was your fault; what did you do, anyway?"
"I didn't do anything, I swear! Will you guys hear me out? So there I was, planning a trick on Anzu when..."
"What does it matter what he's done? We shouldn't be so mean to Bel-nii anyway! Love is the way to redeem him! >.< *hugs*"
"*falls to the ground like a caterpillar, and starts scooting away immediately* Get her away from me!"
"*stomps on Bel* Jiiii..."
"E-even if Bel was planning a trick on me, I think this is going too far. Right Inigo?"
"Amora, if you wouldn't mind...? *Tries to take axe off of*"
"**resists* B-but, this axe is a gift!"
"Who gave you an axe as a gift...?"
"The first to the Catholics, as well as the guides of their flock. Provider of life, guardian of homes; purveyor of wars, and Amora's precious treasure."
"Purveyor of wars? U-um, maybe Bishamonten, or..."
"I think I understand. Amora...this axe was a gift from your Father, right?"
"N-nn...*nods slowly*"
"I understand now. Amora...I'm sorry. Here, you can have the axe bac-huh? Where is it?"
"NO PATRIS, NAMASTE!"
"*Yes Patris, let the hate flow through you! Strike Bel down, and your journey to the Dark Side will be complete...*snrk* I heard that in one of these 'movie' things the other day."
"T-that's scary! Lael, you must never, ever watch that movie, alright?""

"Whatever you say, Evie. *nods*"
"Give me back my daddy's axe, Patris! *tackles*"
"Hey! G-get off me Amora! Stop pulling my hair! Ouch! Do you want to see what real punishment is!?"
"*sigh of relief* Free at last..."
"Now's no time to react! We have to stop them. This much concentrated Yandere and Malice in one place, combined with the energy trapped inside of their bodies from traveling through time, could create a black hole that sucks us all in! We have to stop them, or this whole world will become a nexus of chaos and Oedipal love, in which we all simultaneously want to admire our parents, and kick all sorts of butt!"
"What a wonderful idea! We can all admire our parents, and appreciate the love we share for our families together. ^^"
"*pinches cheeks* Not now, you silly Angel wannabe. We have to stop them, or the whole world will be ruined!"
"Bel actually wants to help someone else? Mama mia, the world really is doomed."
"If we're going to stop this fight, we need to know why it started in the first place. Bel, what did you do to anger both Patris and Amora?"
"Well that's a cruel accusation. Just blindly assuming I did something wrong, and all of this happened because-"
"Bel!"
"Fiiine, fine! I'll tell you, but only if you can figure out the true meaning of my words."
"You probably told Amora you were siblings, and that you were going to go win her father's good graces. Something about getting him to pamper you, and living the good life, am I right?"
"N-no! Baka!"
"I believe in Bel-nii! >.< *hug*"
"*dodge* No yeah, nevermind, Koichi is right. Now can someone untie me?"
"Damn it, Bel. We should leave you here for causing all this trouble, but we still don't have a way to stop Patris and Amora..."
"It's too late, they've reached Critical Squabble! If either of them speaks now, it could have tremendous ramifications!"
"I'm not going to die before I tell that riddle at least, damn it! I thought of a really good one while Patris was kidnapping me. So, here it goes: What's light as a feather, floats like a leaf, has-"
"You stupid, daddy stealing baka! Be quiet... No More Riddles! >.< *wish*"
*voosh*

Patris' Perfect Christmas (Seriously, don't you DARE screw this up for me you guys!) - Favorite Christmas Tradition!
"So! Now that we're having a very special Christmas with our families, I think it's time for something special!"
"Well, it may be your first Christmas with family, but technically last year Narue and I-"
"*slash ^^* As I was saying, I think we should all say our favorite Christmas traditions. Things our parents taught us to do each year for the holidays. I liked nailing the stockings of those my daddy and I vanquished over the fireplace. *beams at memory*"
"I loved to sing Christmas carols! Even iwhen we ran out of decorations, the songs could always warm my heart..."
"Ugh, I remember. You were totally tone deaf, though. Eventually I had to kick you out of my workshop, so I could focus on making the decorations for the tree. I always enjoyed watching people hang up items I'd made with my own hard work."
"Oh, me too! I use to looove putting the decorations together myself! And sometimes my dad and mom and Naal and Auntie Nana would help too, and it felt really special to me! ...Lael! You must help me this year! ^ ^"
"It...would mean the world to me, Evie. *blush*"
"Hmph, well I always found putting the star on the top of a tree to be the most important part. It established a firm hierarchy, with only the most worthy chosen to ascend the ladder and complete the tradition!"
"That...was usually her, of course. I think everyone saw how happy it made her, and didn't have the heart to argue. I on the other hand always felt proud to bake cookies for Mr. Santa Claus, as well as everyone else. Even when ingredients got scarcer I always put in the extra effort, in order to see their smiles..."
"Ugh, could you be more sappy? *eating a chocolate chip cookie*"
"*noticed* Wait, is that...? That plate was for Mr. Claus! When did you-!?"
"Stop causing trouble, Bel! As for me...I think trying to find a gift for everyone, even when things were dark, always held special meaning to me. It was like proof we hadn't given up on the world, and there was still something out there not just worth saving, but beautiful, y'know?"
"That's a great sentiment, Anzu. I think we all shared that hope a bit..."
"...so cool..."
"Ooh! I always thought that the Christmas lights were really beautiful! When we started running out of sources of light, we found a string of them. There were these gorgeous shades of red and green...they sort of reminded me of a friend, actually."
"I know exactly what you mean, Io. The lights were always so dazzling...so though that certain someone was terrifying."
"Geeh, I wonder who that could be? *sarcasm*"
"U-um, I don't know if it's alright to say this, but...it's kind of embarrassing, okay? So just promise you won't laugh!"
"We won't laugh Amora."
"I...I always really liked the Mistletoe tradition, okay!?"
"Heh, now we're talking. I didn't know if I cared to answer, but that's my favorite tradition, too."
"Of course it it. *eye roll*"
"With that reaction, I guess I've got to keep it a secret that it's miiine as well. *folds hands behind his head*"
"Oh stop, you! *punches shoulder* ...although, I guess it's not so bad..."
"Uh huh! I always liked it when I walked under one and he had to plant a biiig kiss on me! *beam*"
"W-wait, what...?"
"Uh huh! I always liked it when I walked under one and he had to plant a biiig kiss on me! *beam*"
"...I knew the daughter was strange, but to think the father was too..."
"*innocent smile* Daddy would always peck me on the forehead, and tell me I was his most precious treasure! It's a holiday tradition I'll always hold close to my heart..."
"*Hyew*...that was...something."
"Of course that's what she meant. Heh, what were you thinking of, sickos?"
"Don't tease, Bel. You also just confessed to liking a tradition based on love! *tackle*"
"*sidesteps* No, I enjoy a Christmas tradition rooted in mistletoe...and also how utterly ironic it is, by the way. After all, you can trace the legend of the smooch-inducing herb back to the bloody tale of my uncle slaying Beldr, you know. ^^ I rather enjoy both parts of it...the origins, and the modern day interpretations. Speaking of...*holds up mistletoe*"
"*slides away from quickly*"
"You just had to ruin it, didn't you Bel? Still, I think we made some progress...present slime-balls aside. What about you, Patris? *turns*"
"*holding a mistletoe spear over a fire, sharpening the end* Hm? What was that Sera-chan?"
"*Nervous sweatdrop* I...I have to go."
"You're not going anywhere! Take back what you said about me and daddy's special tradition! *produces axe*"
"*Siiigh* ...Here we go again..."

Welcome to Patris' Blood-Curdling Battles of Wits (and Riddles!) ((Bel: And Hostage Situations!))
Thanks to Amora, riddles have nearly vanished from the world! Patris has taken it upon herself to undo this mess, by using all her power to bring clever people together in a battle of wits! Her hope is that if enough riddles are told, and the cleverest is found, it will restore riddles to the world! ...and Kuzaku didn't have the heart to tell her they were all kidding about the 'Sibling-Squabbling Having Enough Power to Change The World' thing. Especially since they weren't even siblings in the first place...
1. The Game begins when Patris posts the first riddle in this forum. The object of the game is to be the first to correctly answer the riddle.
2. When successfully answering a riddle first (and the answer is confirmed as correct), you will then be asked to post a riddle of your own for others to answer. You must do this immediately after answering correctly, in a separate post. If you take too long to post your new riddle you may be disqualified in the interest of fairness.
3. When answering, you must include both your answer and the CHARACTER who is answering the riddle.
4. The game will end on New Year's Day, or at a later time (all will be informed if the time is moved ahead of time).
5. Whoever has answered the most riddles at the end of the game, and whomever is the last one to ask an unanswered riddle, will receive the Grand Prize and the Special Prize respectively!
6. More rules may be added as required.
...
Enjoy the game! And Merry GUILDMAS2016!!
