The events from the summer, that battle with the strange wraith, had become nothing more than a distant memory. Everything had turned out well for everyone and the wraith creature had been taken care of by the DMC senshi who had come to the creatures aid. There was no reason to ruminate over the event anymore. It was a closed case with there being no repercussions from the event.
Unless, of course, she ignored the memory she had that one night. Now, that wasn’t something easily forgotten.
Still, she had pushed it all from her mind. After all, it had been months.
The last thing she expected though was to run into that very exact Dark Moon Senshi. In fact, when she had sensed the chaotic signature and pursued it, Mjolnir hadn’t even crossed her mind, but now Harmonia stood in front of the older senshi, green eyes wide as a breeze tugged at the blunets hair and skirt. She wasn’t….scared to be precise. More like she was a mixture of curiosity, confusion, and wariness. After all, Mjolnir had displayed a rather strong personality that day, one that Harmonia wasn’t quite sure how to deal with when caught unaware like she was.
And then there was that memory. She knew they were connected. Somehow. But what did it all mean?
A gentle snow had begun to fall.
“Um…” She said a bit timidly, tilting her head slightly, a stray curl floating into her face. “I suppose you could say we’ve met before.” Her words were careful, almost timid in nature, but Harmonia wasn’t showing any displays of fear. Just hesitation. As if Mjolnir were some wild beast that may scamper off before Harmonia could get to know or befriend it. “We didn’t get to introduce ourselves I don’t think.” She said a bit more boldly. “I am Harmonia, Eternal senshi of Harmony.”Tebikii Lemme know if you need me to alter anything.

Unlike Harmonia, Mjolnir could not move on from the events of the Summer. The wraiths cries haunted her; she heard it when she was travelling alone at night, when she lay down to go to bed; whenever there was silence it was broken by a scream. There was no escaping it anymore --- no freedom from the relentless assault on her psyche. It was her Tell Tale Heart; a sound that was slowly driving her insane.
Sleeping had become a luxury, slowing down no longer an option, she had to be active all the time, doing something all the time; it was the only way she could silence the cries of a creature she had come to affectionately refer to as ‘Smol’. She did not know who he was, she did not know what it was, but she had grieved for him as much as she did her own kin.
The Senshi who had found her that night was young, with large eyes and a gentle face. Mjolnir could not remember looking so innocent, even when she was young, even before she opened her eyes to the world and all its darkness. A brow arched at her comment, her mouth a harsh line painted across her face. “Have we, now?” She answered, her words harsh but not threatening - nothing about the Dark Mirror Senshi was threatening tonight.
What stood before Harmonia was an exhausted woman who was very lost. Golden eyes were vacant as she tried to place her face. Then she realised and her expression turned from one of vacancy to one of mirth. “Oh, you are one of the Senshi that killed my wraith.” A pained laugh left her lips, shaking her head in disbelief. Harmonia was brave to show her face - she had maimed for less.
Truthfully, Mjolnir no longer had the strength to fight, the body was able to the will was broken. Shattered with her Berserkir, her past, her child. “My name is Mjolnir, Senshi of the Berserkir.” She introduced herself - she did not know why. More so she did not understand why this senshi had approached at all? She did not seem confrontational, strange creatures these White Moon Guardians.
“Why are you here, Harmonia?”

Mjolnir's disposition was something that Harmonia had never quite seen before on another senshi. Actually, she couldn't recall ever seeing such a vacant, almost pained expression on someone before and it caused a well of worry to bubble up in the younger senshi. She didn't like seeing others hurt, confused, or in pain. She knew what it felt like and...it wasn't pleasant. In fact, Harmonia was about to step forward to place a hand on the DMC's shoulder when the woman's features changed, giving her pause.
"I didn't kill your wraith." She said matter-of-factly. She wasn't upset at the accusation, Harmonia would attest that she had killed many a youma and the wraith would have fallen into such a category for her since she'd never experienced such things before, but she hadn't killed it. At most, she had weakened the creature, but Mjolnir herself had managed to keep them from killing it outright, or at least Harmonia. The Senshi of Harmony wasn't exactly going to attack another senshi, DMS or not, to kill the thing. Especially when the wraith obviously meant so much to the older woman.
"Mjolnir?" It the name rolled off of her tongue easily enough. Attribute that to her love of fantasy novels and their tendency towards odd names or the fact that it was something from lore. Who knew. Harmonia found herself liking the name though as she smiled. "Well it's nice to finally meet you."
Tilting her head slightly at the next question, cotton candy curls slipped from her shoulders, a stray piece finding it's way to dangle against her cheek. "Why wouldn't I be here?" She questioned curiously. "I am doing my job as a senshi and am out on patrol." She smiled. "I could ask you the same question you know. Why are you here? You didn't seem like you wanted to be out. Are you looking for someone? Something? Just trying to enjoy the evening?" It wasn't a terrible evening to b precise. Cold, sure. It was December after all, but the sky was clear and the stars shone over head. Of course, it wasn't terribly easy to see the stars with the city lights being so bright.
"Are you alright?" She finally questioned, her smile fading slightly. "I mean, you seemed rather....distant when I first saw you."

Mjolnir pouted at the girl's words, it was always someone else's fault.
She knew t was irrational to be angry at a group of people who responded to a hostile beast that they knew little about, more irrational to think they would listen to her pleas - the pleas of a chaos agent. Harmonia had done nothing to earn her scorn, but Smol had made her irrational, she grieved, she mourned, she needed someone to blame - so that she might relieve some of her own guilt. She should have saved him, she should have found a way.
“For all accounts, taking down a Berserkir is quite a feat according to the Prince, you should be more boastful about your achievements. There was an enemy, now it is dead, you all did your part diligently, Sailor Guardian. It was your attack that drew me to him, the way he called out in pain, I can still hear it.” She looked away, cutting her sentence off, she had said too much already. Her words did not matter, they would not change what was done.
She had not forgiven Castor and she was not sure she ever would - not that it mattered anymore. She had severed the connection she had to him, that was the end of it as far as she was concerned. Partially from the events that night, mostly because of how much she cared for him.
Harmonia on the other hand, seemed rather gentle, at least that was the impression Mjolnir was getting - the genuine concern on her face, her soft voice on answering her questions. It was annoying; if she was more of a brat she would feel better justified acting so cold towards her. She was only a child. “Hunting.” Was her answer to the Senshi’s question, but did not go into any detail beyond that.
To say out loud she was looking for Negaverse Agents in order to vent her rage sounded sadistic even for her; she had given herself to her sphere, power from pain, victory from rage. If she had to explore the darkest reaches of human emotion to find the strength she needed in order to take down chaos, that is what she would do. “I am fine, it is just fatigue, nothing I can’t power through.” It had been a difficult few months, to say the least, the brunette found herself physically and mentally pushed to her limits - she was breaking, ever so slowly she knew her body and mind were failing her, but she had no choice other than to push forward.
She had a quest and she would see it through, no matter the cost.
“What I meant was, why do you approach an agent of chaos, who has every reason to cause you harm? Does your rank as an Eternal give you that much confidence?”

Harmonia winced at the sharp, to -the-point words that Mjolnir spoke. "There's nothing to be proud of." She said, slowly. Carefully. "I don't like having to hurt anyone or anything." And the fact that her attack had been the reason it had cried out in pain for Mjolnir hurt Harmonia's heart even more. The way this Dark Moon Senshi spoke of the wraith was as if it was a sentinent being and that...that was difficult to listen to. Difficult to absorb and think about.
But...it had been necessary. They couldn't speak any sort of reason to the creature and there was a high likely hood that innocent people would be injured because of it's reckless behavior.
"I am sorry." She said softly, remorse clearly depicted on her face as her eyes fell to the ground, arms limp at her side.
Hunting? Another soft wince echoed across the senshi's face. She wanted to ask what. Or, who. But was too afraid to voice the question. Harmonia wasn't sure if she wanted to know whom it was that this Dark Mirror Senshi was hunting for. It was such a cruel verb to use when being directed at possible human beings.
Eyes eventually shifted up from the cold, frozen ground back to Mjolnir as the conversation shifted into territory that she felt she could better cope with. "Well..." She paused for a moment, as she gathered her thoughts together. "It's not because I am Eternal or anything. Really that wasn't even a factor." She said gently. Her eyes searching Mjolnir's. "I just...well, to tell you the truth, I want to try and build friendships with people, no matter what side of this war they're on. And since we had met before, I felt a bit more at ease searching you out. Plus..." She paused. Unsure if she should mention anything more. "Um...well...I think we may have...I think we may know each other some how?" It was such a poor response. After all, she wasn't exactly sure they knew each other. In fact, it was pulling at straws, but there was something there. As if there were ghosts of the past trying to tell her something but nothing was coming through clearly.

“You're a Sailor Guardian, by the very definition a protector of the Cosmos. However, when Youma are sentient beings who drink in bars, and Negaverse Agents are your neighbours, friends and classmates - doing that duty by its very definition someone who causes harm, or to let Chaos cause suffering to others. I guess that means, being a Senshi is simply a person who decides who deserves to suffer and who is innocent enough to warrant protection.”
“And a choice was made, a creature deserved to die because the lives of civilians were held in greater value. However it was a very rash choice, countless lives might have been saved because of the information we could have gathered that night - maybe even an end to the war altogether. We will never know. In the end Senshi can only do harm, even with good intentions, they can only destroy.”
It was all she had ever seen, fighting, blood, shattered memories. The homeworlds were in ruins, families had been ripped apart, the missing of Destiny City were forever growing in number - Nothing good had come from the Awakening of the Senshi. Not in a single way had the world been made better. Just like Castor, just like Mjolnir, just like Harmonia - Earth was doomed to be consumed by the interstellar war that had been going on for one thousand years. The war that brought almost every civilisation in the Galaxy to it’s knees - what chance did their little green and blue planet stand? Hopelessness, it was all too present in her heart.
“Making friendships with agents of chaos will only earn them punishment from their handlers if their treachery is brought to light. An act of cruelty in itself. If you really want to remain innocent, if you really want to refrain from harming anyone - take your pen and snap it in two, however I doubt you earned those wings from watching on from the sidelines.” To the point, calculated, Her words were venomous but spoken in a soft, unwavering tone. Mjolnir was not mad, there was no aggression in her stance - the words she said done so out of hard logic and without feeling.
“Don’t be sorry. You can not take life and then show regret - it is a dishonor.” The only words that had an edge of hostility to them. She would rather have her gloat than look so defeated when faced with the repercussion of her actions, It was too late for second guesses. mol deserved better.
She walked towards the Senshi, golden eyes looking down at her petite frame. “I don’t know you.” She stated, looking the Eternal in the eye. “And if you are talking about the ghosts of the past - I never will. That woman’s legacy belongs to Chaos now.”
