* ~ Zaitou's Blind Draw! A Christmas Gift Roulette Game! ~ *
(Persona 4:FES - The Golden Presents...The 12 Days of GUILDMAS2016!!!)

"*coughs* Good evening, everyone. And welcome to the 8th Day of the 13 Nights of Christface. I am your coast, Zippo Winger, and tonight we celestial my Kissbutt Gillette Give-a-Lay!"
"*Snrk* Pffft...what?! XD"
"Zaitou-kun, is something wrong? *worried* Are you sick?"
"Hm? O-oh! Yes, I'm fine. It's just..."
"Ha ha! *cracking up* Are you serious right now?"
"Of course! I just...well, the script... *sweatdrop*"
"*losing it* H-he said... *laughs* He said...Kissbutt... X'D"
"Try to control yourself, Anzu. *rubs back as she doubles over* ...Zaitou, you said script, right?"
"I did! I...yes, there was a script..."
"Is this introduction entirely appropriate? ^ ^;"
"Perhaps someone should have double-checked the script?"
"*Snrk* Kissbutt...Gilette...Ahahahah~ X'D"
"...I'm afraid we've lost Anzu..."
"*smirks* Oh, don't act like you didn't laugh, too."
"...I won't deny it."
"Zaitou, you said a script...but can you even read a script?"
"Well...yes! ...Maybe..."
"You can read it if...?"
"If...it's in braille. *sweatdrops*"
"And was it...?"
"Yes...and no..."
"Sounds about right..."
"So was it yes, or was it no? You need to be more specific..."
"It was braille! It's just...as you heard..."
"I think I see where this is going..."
"And who, I wonder, was in charge of the script? *twitch*"
"Well, it was Bel who handed it to me, and..."
"Aaand there it is."
"What?! Don't blame me! It was Lael who wrote the script! He's the poet who put together that *chuckle* elegant verse."
"What?! N-no! *panic* That is to say, I wrote a script...but what I wrote wasn't what he said."
"Tsk tsk, Mr. Poet. Such naughty behavior is worthy of a severe punishment. ^ ^"
"Everyone stand back! I sense a dark presence!"
"Heeey! Lael wouldn't do that! *huffs* I was with him when he wrote the script for Zaitou, and he worked reaaally hard! I believe in him!"
"E-evie...thank you..."
"Don't worry! *beams* I believe in you, too!"
"Isn't it obvious that Bel did it and is just setting up Lael to take the fall?"
"*flat* Whaaat. Nooo... *smirks*"
"Don't worry, Bel-nii! I believe in you, too! *beams and tries to hug*"
"*holds at arm's length by the forehead* Yeah, nevermind, I did it."
"*squished and huffs* Beeeel~!"
"Yeah, that's kind of what I figured."
"That's so immature, Bel-kun..."
"And yet another event marred by a descent into anarchy..."
"*smiles* But isn't the chaos fun?"
"*doubled over* Kissbutt...Gilette...ahahahaha~! X''D"
"v.v; Let's just go to the interlude..."
Christmas Interlude #4 - More Memories!
"So, I think we were all talking about our favorite Christmas memories? Amora, I'm...almost scared to ask, but do you have any?"
"Actually...there was one Christmas when I was young...Mommy didn't want me to have to fight, but Daddy convinced her I was old enough for a weapon...in case, you know...so one of my gifts that year was Mommy's Special Knife! *smiles wistfully* Daddy...he taught me how to fight with it...how to fly, like he does, to fight so fast that nobody can hit you! I...loved watching him fight, so graceful, so strong...Daddy was amazing...and I...I really loved just watching him... *smiles through the tears threatening to fall*"
"Amora, that's...a beautiful memory, actually."
"I remember my Daddy sitting in the snow one winter after we trained, too...I was young, and it's hazy, but...I remember sometimes he'd just sit and look off into the sky in the distance...like he was remembering something important to him. He'd concentrate so hard, almost like he was trying to remember it so hard that he'd never forget it. I always wondered what he was thinking about...if it was someone he loved, or something he wanted..."
"*smiles faintly* I believe we all have a lot of memories of the parents and the friends that we left behind...memories that we will always cherish and hold close to our hearts."
"And what about you, Shogun Junior? Any memories of Christmas Past?"
"Of course. It's just..."
"Koichi-kun...you don't have to talk about it if you don't waaant..."
"No, no, I don't mind. I was just very young...my sixth Christmas, and the Tokyo Survivors hadn't yet moved underground. It was when...my mother was still around. And my brother..."
"You're talking about Miss Minori and Koji...right? She was my father's dear friend...they...were together when..."
"Yes, Sera told me...your father was also a precious friend of hers, and she spoke of he and the other members of their team with such fondness..."
"Koichi...*places a hand on his shoulder*"
"I apologize, I did not mean to make the atmosphere heavy. Should I continue...?"
"Whatever you feel comfortable with, man. *nods in support*"
"I want to hear about Daddy's friend! *smiles brightly*"
"Thank you, everyone. Then, it was during a Christmas in Tokyo, before my father deemed holding the city untenable and took the people underground...there was a little square in the courtyard of the Imperial Estate between the ruined walls where my brother and I liked to play together as my mother watched. ...It was Christmas Day, and there were lights adorning the walls and the estate, snow lining the grass and the walls, making the whole world a wistful white save for the seasonal blues, reds, and greens of the decorations. My father had just given me my first tactics book, some formal clothing, and a necklace with the Emblem of the Mori Clan as a symbol of my status as heir. My brother had received his own necklace, some clothing, and a toy ship that my father said he learned to craft from the woods of Chugoku as a child. The two of us were playing in our spot between the ruins in the snow and beneath the lights, and my mother sat nearby watching...I remember this soft, serene smile upon her lips as she watched her two children mimic the role of an Emperor and his Warrior General, his Shogun. I was the Emperor, Koji was the Shogun, and together in our little world we were leading our country in the victorious fight against the Corruption to take back our homes. My mother...as we played she stood and came to stand beside us, and playing along as though she herself were our loyal confidant, presented the two of us with what she called the 'Swords of Seta', Divine Arms of the Nation's Heroes...and we were the two chosen to inherit them, the weapons to pursue our dreams. ...They were mere wooden swords, of course, a child's plaything...but they made the illusion of our play complete. We were so happy then...and my mother smiled, placed her hands on my brother's shoulder...and mine. I thought I couldn't have felt any warmer at that moment, despite the cold...until I looked past my mother's shoulder and I saw him...my father. Of all the times we played in the yard of the Estate, all the children's games we engaged in, I had never seen him join us...but that happy Christmas, together with my brother and my mother, I saw him...standing nearby, leaning against the snow-capped wall. And on that day, watching our little family playing this game of conquest and honor...I watched him smile. A soft, loving sort of smile...the sort I had never seen before or since until the day we stepped through the gate into the Akarana Corridor. It was at that moment I knew, despite his taskmaster role and his stern training...my father loved us all...my brother, myself, and my mother as well...and I will never forget that day for as long as I live."
"Koichi...you big, sentimental lug! *bumps shoulder playfully* ...You're such an adorable dork, you know that?"
"Yes, that's me. *smirks faintly* The sentimental type."
"A story well told, Koichi-san."
"Heh...that's a hard act to follow. *rubs the back of his head* Does anybody want to try and share a Christmas memory of their own?"
"Well one Christmas, I had a pretty little axe, and... ^ ^"
"Anyone else? ^ ^;"
"There was the Christmas my Mom wanted to take me out to hunt for blood..."
"I think we're done here."
"*sniffles* Everybody! Group hug! X'3 *attempts to glomp Bel*"
"*sidesteps and trips Io onto her face* Yeaaah, still not happening."
"See ya all tomorrow, Kissbutts!"
"I really hope she's over that one by tomorrow... *sighs*"
