He eventually found the group and it seemed that he wasn’t too late. Most of them were just milling around talking to others in the group. He smiled though he was pretty sure his nose was going to fall off at any second from the cold, it would be even worse since he was going to be out even longer now. He needed a nose warmer or something! But it seemed to be quite a large group! Hopefully they wouldn’t be bothering too many people then with their caroling.

In the center of it all, there was Mr. Bah Humbug himself. He narrowed his eyes at anyone that passed his way, arms folded across his chest as the bells on the reindeer antlers headband he wore jingled with each jerk of his head. The sweater his father made him don was made from one of the itchiest yarns in existence, bits of tinsel sewn into the cross-eyed Santa Claus doubling this agony. It took everything within Caelum not to stuff his hands into his pits and give them a good scratch.
And now there was this. The caroling. Rigel, his father, was really trying to push the festivity onto his youngest son, wasn't he? His dad had to head to work, but he was expected to "Get in the mood and sing a few songs, make a few friends!" The thought made Caelum roll his eyes.
This holiday sucks... Big time.
When Caelum's eyes landed on Jason and he, like all of the others, got a death glare from the fourteen year old. He almost felt inclined to ask the other male what brought him there, but that'd be too friendly, too conversational. Caelum was going to deny the good mood of the holidays are much as his teenage rebellion could.

Jason was about to speak with someone else until he noticed the death glare from someone who seemed a bit younger than him and... well, he could understand why the other kid wasn't feeling so jolly. Jason was thankful that he didn't have to wear anything crazy like that kid did. He just came out in some warm clothing!
But... even though the kid didn't look like he was happy to be there, perhaps his night would go faster if he had someone to talk to? Jason bet that it would seem like the entire thing was dragging on if someone wasn't enjoying any aspect of it.
So might as well give it a chance right? Jason sent a small smile over to the kid and stepped closer to him, his hand held out for a shake. "I'm Jason! Interesting to see some people around my age in this group!"Unoderi I am so sorry for taking so long on this, I promise we can finish this one quickly today if you want.
