Rehema took in a deep breath as she sat by the river, watching the water flow. She always got distracted a bit by anything natural. Water, trees, clouds, etc. Sometimes she would spend hours just watching, enjoying the beauty that nature created and was nice enough to let her see and experience in her life.

She was a healer, and that meant she had to closely pay attention to what she was using and what best to use to heal other members of the pride. That made gathering materials all the more interesting though. Learning about what plants could help in the healing process, and since she had time, watch and see what those plants did in nature too. So, it was very interesting to her when magick enhanced her healing techniques.

The mixing of nature and magick, she would always be awed at what they could do together.

((okay, I mostly just rambled here because I'm not too sure about all the info for this pride, so I apologize if I get anything wrong.))

User Image The dark male moved quietly towards the river. The sun beat down upon his black pelt and warmed him down to his bones. On days like today the golden eyed male couldn't help but think about the past. His mother had always enjoyed the sun, she loved to watch the water move and ripple, she loved to watch the dancing light. His mother had, he was told, been sane once but never while he had known her, still he had loved her deeply and when she had died it had left a deep casm in his heart. Still he had kept the name she had granted him and had become a priest as she had wished. It suited him really the dreams he saw often came true, it was just a little unfortunate that he often felt like he was living the same day twice.

Allowing thoughts of his mother to dwindle away the dark male started to hum a song of prayer. It was too nice a day to dwell on thoughts of the past and there were more pressing matters at hand, the main one being that he was thirsty.

Moving quietly the young priest paused when he saw someone else was already enjoying the waters edge. "Merry meet." He rumbles moving to the waters edge, bending down he drinks deeply from the clear waters licking his lips he smiles at the female. "It's a beautiful day."

User Image Aphra told herself that she should be training or something. The sun was high, the border was quiet... Surely, it was better to spend this time bettering herself than doing nothing. And yet, nothing was exactly what she seemed to have in mind; rather than anything remotely close to training grounds, the lumbering lioness' wayward paws carried her to the riverside.

Surprise crossed the Aphra's face at the sight of others at the waters' edge. That only lasted for a moment, though, before the guardian quickened her pace. A smile crossed her muzzle instead. Clearly, her thoughts weren't the only ones tending toward relaxation today.

"Quite a crowd at the river today," she called broadly, nodding a welcome to the priest and... Oof. Couldn't quite place the other lioness, to her shame. She knew she'd seen that purple pelt around somewhere, though. With the healers, perhaps?

Rehema had been so absorbed in watching the river that she hadn’t even heard the male approach her. It had made her shoot her head around, but she relaxed when she saw it was just another member of the pride. Really! She needed to pay more attention! “Merry meet.” She returned, nodding a bit. Soon enough she saw another member, a female this time, also come to the river and comment on how many were here. Rehema couldn’t help but smile. It was such a relaxing place and when you could peacefully talk to other members in the pride and such a tranquil place and have such lovely meetings and conversations, she couldn’t help but be very happy that she was in this pride.

“I’m glad we’re all here. It’s such a nice day and the river is such a peaceful place.” She looked a little distant as she caught herself enjoying the scenery again. However, she realized that while she had seen the other two within the pride, she didn’t actually know them, at all.

“I am so sorry I haven’t introduced myself! I am Rehema!” She said, smiling brightly at the other two.

He nods to the two females, casting his gaze between the two. He prided himself on knowing pretty much the whole pride by sight, that was his job after all, or a part of it. Still he nodded and gave a deep bow to the two females. "Ranunculus." He whispered, his voice a very pleasant murr.

For a brief moment he was tempted to leave it at that and move on, he probably had other things to be getting on with after all, but perhaps a moment of contemplation, time to enjoy the sun and speak to those whom he should really know better.

"I beleive I have a Guardian." He looked to Aphra and smiled "I am afraid I do not know where you belong Rehema." He pursed his lips and narrowed his eyes thoughtfully, nope, she would have to tell him. "It is a lovely day, it is nice to have a moment of contemplation by the clear waters. It's nice that others have the same idea." He chuckles, he felt he sounded way too lofty but, since he had started this way he supposed he should continue with this speech pattern even if it could get a little dreary.

The guardian returned the lavender lioness' smile with one of her own, shouldering gently past the pair to drink from the bubbling water. She recognized the far-off look in the other female's eyes: this part of the pride-lands were undeniably lovely. Obviously, as it was all-too-often enough to draw the otherwise dutiful Guardian away from her rounds.

"That it is," Aphra chuckled, her agreement with Rehema's words somewhat muffled by the quick shake she gave her sopping chin. She did so when her head was still down close to the water, of course; there was no way she was going to spoil this meeting by splashing everyone like some cub. When she did look up, it was in answer to the priest, and prefaced by a toothy grin. "And that you do. Aphra, and pleased to meet you both."

Curiously, she glanced to Rehema. It was kind of a relief to know that she hadn't been the only one who found the pretty purple pelt hard to place.

She smile slightly at the lion. "I am a healer. I was out gathering materials and the river just called to me for a while. It is quite fascinating." She said, agreeing with him. She was glad to meet another in the pride.

She nodded at both of them. "Wonderful to meet the both of you. I'm glad to see such good lions as the two of you in the pride. And I am sorry that we haven't met before, being in the pride for so long. However, I do hope that we are able to do more in the future together." She replied.

The dark male settled himself in to a comfortable sit and looked between the two females, a guardian, a healer and a priest, if he was the jovial sort he would probably find a joke in there some where but he was not so he let the thought pass away like a wave upon the sea. His golden eyes settled upon the lilac female and he pursed his lips. "It is beautiful down here, it reminds me of my youth, playing at the waters edge." He cleared his throat he wasnt going to go any further in to that, that way lay madness, quite literally.

"And what is it you are making healer? Perhaps this guardian and I can take a moment of our time and help you to search. My mother thought me much about the power of.." he paused for a moment re-wording what he was going to say "Plants." He was going to say flowers but again, that way led to conversations he didn't enjoy having like the origin of his name.

The guardian wrinkled her nose at Ranunculus' suggestion, but only briefly. She was more than happy to help out her pridemates - she viewed it as just as important to her role as protecting their borders - but this particular request was a bit of a stretch. "I'll admit I'm no great shakes at gardening," Aphra began slowly, pulling her eyes from the dark lion to the healer, "but I suppose I'd be more than willing to lend a paw, if you'll have the help. Just, uh. Try to be real descriptive with whatever you send me after." Her smile was lopsided, but genuine enough. Hopefully her knowledge of the lay of the land beyond those places paws normally tread would serve them well here, because her plant identification skills? Distinctly sub-par.

Rehema was glad that the both of them were willing to help her out. "Well, it's supposed to be a mixture that can numb but also helps to heal cuts and smaller wounds a bit faster. It won't work on larger wounds, but if you manage to cut yourself on something it should, with a bit of magic, heal faster and you shouldn't feel anything either." She replied. "And if you can help, that would be great! Though I understand if there are other duties you must attend to if it takes too long." She said, looking through the little pouch that she carried around with her and taking out a few plants.

One was quite round, another looked much more like a regular leaf but it was a bit elongated, and finally, the last had multiple smaller leaves on a long stem. "These are what they look like. Most of the grow on the water's edge off of various plants. A white, bell shaped flower for the rounder one, and the other two you should be able to tell just by looking." She moved two of the leaves over to the others. "You can quit helping me at any time. I understand if you may need, or want, to leave. I will not feel insulted."

((if you two want, you two can reply, then we call that an rp. And then if we wanted to continue this we could make it another rp? That way we get two rps out of this.))
