White Christmases had become a yearly reality ever since his move to Destiny City back in the summer of 2011, however despite that snow falling with such regularity was something that still felt like something of a novelty.
Arian smiled ruefully to himself as he wandered about the apartment gathering up his coat, scarf and a pair of mitten-like gloves. You’d think he’d be used to it given that it had been five years since he had first moved over to the States and it wasn’t like it didn’t ever snow in the UK - however whilst his memories painted pictures of snow days from school and transport chaos - he remembered actual white Christmases being rare.
The coat had been easy to find, as had the scarf but the gloves had ended up eluding Arian for a while and whilst he had contemplated doing without, it had been snowing lightly all afternoon and whilst he liked snow when he wasn’t out patrolling in it as his counterpart Athene, it didn’t make the white stuff any less cold and Anxo had invited him to check out a place which apparently did really good hot chocolate.
The doorbell rang just as Arian managed to finally locate the gloves on the kitchen counter that he could have sworn he had checked out earlier and he called out a Coming” as he snatched them up and walked over to open the door.”

I’m really sorry this took so long Poods, my ‘quiet’ week ended up not-so-quiet and so I’ve had to wait until today to get starts up. As always lmk if I need to tweak anything :3
