Lull in Sunlight stands quiet and intimidating which is a stark contrast to the other mare, who is crying out exuberantly, offering tokens. You approach, whether drawn in by the spirit of the friendly barker or curious about the aura of competition the other exudes, and are asked quite simply to tell the dark mare a riddle. Do you dare?

INSTRUCTIONS Roll 1d10, match your number to the result listed below, and then write a reply of your kin's attempt to tell a riddle or the fallout there of.
RESULTS 1. Your riddle is decent but Lull in Sunlight is so annoyed with its ease you decide to run. Giveforward takes pity on you and sneaks you two tokens. (You get 2 tokens). 2. The mare is laughing at you and her eyes are sparkling in amusement. (You get 1 token.) 3. The silence is maddening and you think you might have stumped her. You haven't, you realize, but you have put her to sleep. Ouch; you steal a token. (You get 1 token.) 4. Your riddle is more of an ad-lib that doesn't make sense and you decide to run for your life rather than suffer the mare's wraith. (Sorry, you got nothing.) 5. You probably just made this up and the mare's smirk tells you it's too easy but you get a token for trying. (You get 1 token.) 6. The answer is obvious but the mare gives you a token anyway. (You get 1 token.) 7. Your manners are lovely, even if your riddle stinks. The mare gives you a token anyway. (You get 1 token.) 8. Your riddle is exquisite and your cleverness is so pleasing, Lull in Sunlight grants you a trinket. If you return it to her, she'll grant you a blessing. (You get 1 token and can have a kin blessed by Lull in Sunlight.) 9. You've misunderstood the premise of the game and the mare's gryphon form is threatening to maul you. Thankfully you have the sense to back away slowly. (Sorry, you got nothing.) 10. You can consider it a personal success that your riddle is satisfactory and Lull in Sunlight seems bored by you. You take your token and go on your way. (You get 1 token.)

Sweet looked at the mare a moment, and found she couldn't think of a single riddle at fuirst. It took a moment before she finally spit one out. "What has a mouth, but never speaks? What has no hooves, but always runs?" She waited half a heart beat before spitting out the answer. "A river!" She took the token with a quick thank you, and scurried off quickly, her mind running through riddles she knew she knew, to maybe do better another time!

He did so like riddles, even if he more liked the actual process of figuring them out and less so the actual answer. It was all about the feel of one, after all, Traveler thought, as he shifted close enough to give them a riddle.
"How can you tell if an ocean is friendly? It waves!"
It really was such a shame that Traveler had put the does to sleep. Oops.Quote: 3. The silence is maddening and you think you might have stumped her. You haven't, you realize, but you have put her to sleep. Ouch; you steal a token. (You get 1 token.)

( #76C6AF ) Roll: 9 - You've misunderstood the premise of the game and the mare's gryphon form is threatening to maul you. Thankfully you have the sense to back away slowly. (Sorry, you got nothing.) Spirit Talker stood there silently for a long time, waiting for the mare to tell her a riddle. Too late, she realizes her error and slinks off feeling embarrassed.

f Lore shifted, uncertain before running her riddle. "Feed me and I live, Give me a Drink and I die." She shifted slightly. "I'm Fire..." She scooted back away from the angry doe, but accepted the two token from her apologetic friend with a soft thanks.

Gentle Beauty pondered for a bit before responding, "You will always find me in the past. I can be created in the present, But the future can never taint me. What am I?"
She waited for a while, waiting for a response. "... Do you need a hint?"
A soft snore was the only reply. Gentle Beauty flinched slightly -- apparently the doe was more tired than she had appeared. She carefully took a single token and walked off, hoping she was right in that, with no response to the riddle, she gets a token.

Slapstick was a barrel of laughs and chuckles when she arrived to tell the riddle. She almost couldn't get it out. "I don't have eyes, but once I did see. Once I had thoughts, but now I'm empty."
She waited less than a second before revealing the answer.
"Skull!"

Troubed Waters posed her riddle softly; "I don't have eyes, but once I did see. Once I had thoughts, but now I'm white and empty. What am I?" The mare paused for a moment before revealing the answer. "A skull." She smiled and daintily received her token.

Release Me shifts on her hooves and lowers her head with a kind yet nervous expression. "H-How do crazy kin go through the forest? They take the psycho path!" She gives a nervous chuckle, flushes, and bows again before making a quick exit with a lot of apologies!

Quote: The answer is obvious but the mare gives you a token anyway. (You get 1 token.) Swallows the Silence considered the does curiously, snuffing at each; they smelled strange, lighter yet darker than he'd encountered before. Something about their presence was intimidating, and he shifted from one hoof to another as he listened to the more excitable female about his task. A riddle? He didn't know many, and he crinkled his nose as he tried to think of something - anything! It took him well over a minute before one finally came to him. "The more you take me, the more of me you leave behind. What am I?" He offered a nervous laugh as he waited; when he finally gave in and offered "footsteps," a long suffering sigh met him. He was a bit embarrassed, but at least one of them laughed, and he got another of those strange little stones in return as well. He couldn't have done too badly, right?

((7. Your manners are lovely, even if your riddle stinks. The mare gives you a token anyway. (You get 1 token.) )) Up and up, the acha climbs until he has some semblance of control over the crowd and croons out in a voice like velvet smoke his grand plan of a joke: "What do you call a flying orange?" Crickets abound. "Why, it's a festive songbird flying home." With a sweet dash and mid-air turn, he descends, chest puffing with pride.

Quest was known for having a bit more bravery than sense at times, and insisted on proving it as she tried to tell the menacing looking kin a riddle. Unfortunately the black doe was so preoccupied with whatever she'd been doing she didn't even know what she'd signed up for. Clearly lost in her own world she tried to tell the kin a clever joke about the swamp and a talking pebble. ..she was cut short and quickly run off. Luckily the experience wasn't too traumatic because she managed to escape with all her limbs.
