Destiny City has had a few experiences with snow so far, but no one can argue that this most recent snow is the best for building snowmen. It's on a weekend, and the weather is just perfect. Evren was all bundled up knitting a scarf and hat on a chair next to her little sisters as they went away building their snow man. “You know you don’t have to knit personal clothes for the snow man… we could have just bought something for him.” Alyssa said using her gloves to push the bottom piece she was making for the snowman while their younger sister was packing snow together nonsensical. Evren just laughed at this can continued to knit away.
“Well I think even Mr. Snowman deserves to have something nice made for him. Besides I’m not as good at knitting as I am sewing so this gives me an opportunity to get better at it.” She said holding up the scarf that had some clear knitting errors in it. Alyssa just huffed as Nina then went and walked right into the large snowball she was making. The little girl just laughing as she sat in the snow as if something hilarious had happened. Evren got up from her chair and helped her stand up again brushing off the snow.
“Nina you’re six now… you’re a little old to be acting like this.” Evren laughed and smiled at Alyssa.
“Now, now she’s still only like in first grade… she’s as mature as she’s ready to be.” Nina then stuck her tongue out at Alyssa and went ahead with trying to put a head on the body that Alyssa made.
“You really need to stop spoiling her. She’s getting a bad attitude.” Evren then pocked Alyssa’s nose and laughed at the face she made.
“I don’t thinks she’s getting a bad attitude from me spoiling her… I think she gets her bad attitude from another certain someone here always raining on her parade.” At the comment Evren made Alyssa just squinted one of her eyes but chose not to say anything at that comment. “Besides you should just sit back and enjoy the time we’re spending together… before you know it we won’t be able to hang out as much as we do now.” Alyssa seemed to stop pouting for a second before going forward to back to work on the snow man as Evren went back to finishing up the blue scarf she was making for the snow man. When she finished that she went to work on the beanie hat she decided to make for it.
After a few quick moments Evren went and finished up the hat with her hands that were starting to get a bit cold… she could only imagine how her sisters’ hands felt after playing with all that snow. Looking up she was seeing they were putting the finishing touches on the face. “Alright now to just put these on.” And with that she put the scarf and hat onto the snowman. When they all took a step back Evren smiling at their creation that is until Alyssa spoke up.
“He kind of look like a bum.” Evren blinked and then laughed nervously as her knitting was a bit all over the place… but at least it gave the snowman some character.
