Stormy opened her eyes slowly, staring up at the ceiling for a moment before recalling what had happened, jolting to sit up, she looked around. This wasn't her room. Fear in her eyes as she saw a very distinct lack of her brother. "Akash?" she called out softly, her voice shaky as she pushed herself off the bed to the stand up and looked around again. "Akash? Akash!!!" she called out louder, a deeper panic in her words. She was shaking as she ran to the door of the bedroom and opened it. In that moment, she met face to face with someone, looking up to see Rasiel as he had been about to come in to check on her. She clenched her teeth and narrowed her eyes in anger. "Where is my brother?!" she demanded.

He knelt down. "Stormy, he's somewhere safe. And so are you. We are going to be here for a little while while Zaku and DH are on their mission, then they'll be right back." he tried to explain in a softer voice, honestly feeling a twinge of resemblance to how he was when he was a kid.

Stormy was looking around, thinking, before glaring at him. "GO AWAY!!!" she screamed then slammed the door.

"Stormy, wait!" he called out through the door sympathetically.

Her eyes darted across the room and spotted her backpack and ran to it, tearing the zipper fast across plastic teeth to open it, digging through it. Her clothes. Some of Akash's things. The player, she tossed aside for now. And feathers. She hesitated, looking at the feathers. Her brothers and DH's. She stood up with the half-empty backpack in one hand and the feathers in her other. The first tear broke through to an endless stream as she stared at them, dropping the backpack in defeat and fell to her knees. Her whole body was shaking and her teeth were clenched so tight as she fought back the tears to no avail and she broke down crying. They were gone. The only things she had of them now were these items of memorabilia that only set deep in her mind that this was a final goodbye and she was alone. They weren't coming back. DH was gone. Akash was gone. She felt like it was her fault, maybe if she-... She didn't know why she was being left alone, not knowing where she went wrong. But where she should have felt regret, she only felt anger. The only thing she thought on was maybe if she hadn't hurt DH, she would have stayed. They wouldn't have taken Akash and they wouldn't have sent her away. Was she really not good enough? Nothing could compare to this pain.

Her mind was racing, angered and betrayed as she clenched her fists, sticking both feathers into one pocket and picking up the player and putting it into her other pocket. She narrowed her eyes in desperation as she picked up the nearest heavy thing and threw it into the window to crack it and took one step back before sprinting for the window and smashing through it, rolling as she connected to the ground. She took off running as fast as she could, using levitate to try to get up off the ground and move as fast as she could, even if she couldn't stay airborne for very long. Stormy was more than determined to get as far away from this place she had been taken as she could.

Rasiel heard the glass break and threw open the door to see Stormy leap out. "Stormy!!" He turned on his heel and ran for the door to get outside as quickly as he could to chase her down, just to stop her before she got too far.

After talking things out with Vic and Arno about what they were going to do with their family that they were slowly making, Moira decided to go back to where she had started her own life to see what was going on in the Mansion that had once belonged to her Grandmother as the area would be the second safest to raise their family while she and the shark had bounties on their heads. Quietly padding through the woods in her six-legged wolf form, the Elder seemed quite content in taking her time in just getting to the mansion in general as she was thoroughly enjoying being outside - even if it rained - and running as the wolf she could become. It was refreshing and quite exhilarating after the twenty years she had spent locked up and underground. As she got closer to the Mansion and Sanctuary, she started to take her time, surveying her surroundings to make sure that there wasn't anyone lurking within the woods and nearby area.

Ears perking up, she could hear someone off far away shouting, though something was closer. Footsteps, someone was running. Someone small. Tilting her head a bit, the large wolf started to make her way towards the sound of the footsteps, her curiosity getting the better of her.

Stormy took in air deeply, determination in her face as she sprinted with everything she had. She refused to go back. Taking a glance back, she saw Rasiel exiting the house in a full run. Turning her vision forward, she picked up the winds to help push her fast enough to hit the treeline and dive into the forested area, ignoring the pain of running on socked feet as rocks and twigs wouldn't stop her now. Stormy kept her focus ahead as she just wanted to scream out for Akash. Hoping that he could hear her, that he would find her, but she had a feeling he was too far for her voice to carry.

Rasiel was running as fast he could but was losing ground. What he wouldn't give to have wings again and just fly after her. Dammit! "Stormy, stop!!" he called out, just trying to get her to see reason even if it was futile. She dove into the forest line and he chased her into it moments later.

Continuing in the direction of the small footsteps which were now running into the forest at a full sprint, the Moira narrowed her eyes and picked up her own speed, wanting to see who was running into the forest. Getting closer, she soon spotted a child - a meta perhaps? - running into the forest with no shoes on. Glancing in the direction that they were running from, she huffed a little and ran to get in front of the child and cut them off, if only to get them out of a direct line from where she knew the mansion was. That, and to possibly talk to the child and figure out what was going on.

Running forward and then taking a sharp turn right, Moira hoped that she was right in the way of the child.

Her legs burned from the amount of running she was doing, going as fast as she could in an attempt to outrun Rasiel, gaining as much distance as possible.

Taking one more glance back to check how far back he was, she turned back just in time to slam into a wall of fur and be thrown back onto the dirt ground with a loud thud. Scrambling to her feet, she met face-to-face with a giant six-legged wolf. She immediately screamed in panic, and took off running in a different direction in a frantic run to not only escape Rasiel but now to escape from the monster she had just encountered.

Rasiel was still running, trying to catch her, but would you believe she was actually faster than he was. He was looking around, searching as he couldn't see her anymore now that she was in the trees. He heard a scream and his heart dropped into his stomach. "Stormy!!!" he called out with panic in his tone now, scared of what happened to make her scream that loudly.

As the child ran straight into her flank, though as Moira realized exactly who the child was as they stumbled backwards, she caught just enough of the kids face to feel her heart sink. As Stormy screamed and bolted in another direction, she forced herself to change from her monstrous large wolf form, wincing in pain as she did before she let out a slightly hoarse call, "Kid, wait!" she called out, coughing a little bit before following her.

She had heard the stories of what the child and her brother had gone through, but she hadn't really known where they were located - but if they were near Sanctuary or the Mansion, then maybe she could actually find out what had happened between Halloween and now.

Stormy was still running as quick as she could, more panic and frantic in her steps than before. She then heard a voice, a female voice. DH?! She came to a halt and turned before she realized that's not the name she would call her. But by then she caught a glimpse of the giant woman she'd seen before. Hopping slightly in nervousness as she tried to decide whether to go to the giant woman or keep running. She decided to run. "I... I need to find my brother! They took my brother!!" she called back to Moira before turning to continue into her run through the forest, having no idea where she was going or where she'd end up.

"Stormy!! Come back!!" Rasiel was calling out in worry. He heard other voices, and then Stormy yelling. "Please stop her! Her brother is with family!!" he yelled out sympathetically, hoping whoever was also calling out to Stormy could hear him. "She's running because she's scared, she doesn't understand what's going on." he added loudly. Hopefully that was enough to maybe get some help since he obviously wasn't fast enough to catch her without wings.

Moira continued to follow Stormy, wanting to know the story of what was going on - something was going on with these two kids, these two siblings, and it was worrying her greatly. She couldn't do anything at all during the Halloween Ball as there was no fighting allowed, and it's not like she could easily confront the parents with everyone around and not make it into a huge fight. Hearing another voice, she glanced back as she kept moving forward, and let out a sigh as she picked up her pace and ran towards Stormy, moving to pick her up as she got closer.

"Wait wait wait I need you to tell me whats going on so I can help." Her words were soft and filled with worry, a pained look in her eyes as she looked at the child.

Stormy glanced at Moira, seeing her reach for her as she reflexively shrieked and turned, waving her hands in panic."D-dont touch me!!" she exclaimed suddenly, backing up but slowing down. She wanted to know what happened. Trying to to formulate what to say, she just forced everything in her mind. "Mrs. Dad said he had to leave and I didn't want to go. Akash didn't want to go! We don't want to be rehomed again, we don't need anyone. No one wants us, so we don't want them. But Mrs. Dad was taking...." she paused, years building in her eyes as she wiped them with the back up her sleeve, beginning to cry. "He took my mom... I got mad and we tried to leave but then they made us sleep... when I woke up they took my brother and mom away. I'm alone... They left me!!" she yelled in anguish as she broke down crying. "...they aren't coming back for me....are they...." she asked quietly, finally giving up, sitting down, curling up to crying, increasing into a violent sob. "...I just wanna go home.."

Rasiel finally caught up to see Stormy sit down to curl up and cry, frowning. "Stormy... they just went to do a job... They will be back in a few days..." he offered softly before looking to Moira and blinking. "....Moira?.." he asked, almost in disbelief before he looked away, internally freaking out. Hopefully he wasn't in her bad side, she looked like she could punch him into an early grace with one hit, even with his dense bones. "Please, come back Stormy..."

"Liar!! You're lying!! They aren't even coming back!!! He took my brother and no one wants.... me."

Moira pulled her arms back when Stormy screamed to not be touched, a worried frown creasing her lips before she crouched down and listened to the girl as she spoke. Hesitantly reaching a hand out to try and comfort the girl, but she only held it out, unsure on if the girl still refused to be touched. She knew that the girl probably needed to cry, and needed it for awhile, so she just sat down near the girl, one of her own hands resting near her. "We can find out together what's going on, where they went, and when they'll be back..." Moira offered softly.

Turning her head when someone had approached them, she felt a knot in her stomach as she felt like she knew this person. Going over the features of what she could see, what she could tell, she had a feeling that this was someone she had seen before. When they said her name, she tilted her head a little bit before turning back towards Stormy as she spoke, frowning a bit before turning to look at Rasiel. "Tell me what's going on, right now. I spoke with Stormy and her brother during the Halloween ball. Tell me what's going on with her and her brother right now. We already deal with enough harm and pain from others, we don't need it from our own kind." Moira slowly stood up to her full height, her lower set of hands resting on her hips and the top set crossing over her chest.

She was angry, upset, and worried for Stormy and her brother, knowing all too well the pain of being left alone by the people who were supposed to be there for you, supposed to protect you. "We don't need another family broken and shattered."

Stormy wiped her face and stared at her hand and shook her head, meeting any attempts to advance on touching her with further withdrawal. Curled up, pulling her knees to her chest as she couldn't stop crying.

Rasiel frowned as Moira began to demand answers, staring at her with his open left eye, his right still scarred to the point where he couldn't open it well. Sighing, he wasn't expecting for her to assume the worst like this. "Harm and pain? She's not in any danger. Her father is out on a rescue mission with her temporary guardian and will be back in a few days. Her brother is being taken care of by another friend to not only keep them both safe... but because they both require very different and special attention that cannot be provided at the same time." he explained, giving enough detail to tell the truth without giving names.

"We've always been together! I want my brother back! I want DH back! Why did they all leave me?!" she cried out.

He thought over it, trying to decide whatftp say before sighing heavily. "You want the truth, Stormy? Your dad is going to get back your other dad... Mr. Dad. DH is close to him and you know it, they both are. They are going to try to get him back. And something might happen to prevent them from coming back... What they are doing is dangerous work. But regardless of the matter, you get to see your brother again in a month, even if your parents never return." he explained bluntly with a sympathetic frown.

Stormy stared at him with blurry eyes, sniffling as she listened. "Then why not now?!"

"Because your brother is mentally ill, and it's beginning to affect you as well. They wanted to make sure you would be okay even out of their supervision. He is being taken care of by someone who can provide him the care he needs while I am temporarily caring for you."

"I just want to go home..." she commented then paused, curling up more. "...I don't want DH to die..."

Moira took in a breath as her uncle started to explain what was going on, the frown still creasing her lips. Hands still on her hips, she moved to lean against a nearby tree, thinking as Rasiel and Stormy spoke between themselves, the one thing that was brought up was the brother being mentally ill. Biting her bottom lip, she closed her eyes - she needed to talk to her uncle alone at some point about what she had been told at the Ball and what had been told to him - if anything - to see what was going on.

She loved kids and hated seeing them in pain, hated seeing them crying or hurt for reasons that she could attempt to help with. More so when it was family related.

Opening her eyes, she looked down to her Uncle, then to Stormy, "We can go back to the Mansion - and I'm sure DH is fine." she smiled a bit, "If we have a way to contact them, we can send them a text if they have a phone asking how they're doing?"

Stormy looked up to Moira then to Rasiel and frowned. There was the suggestion to go back to the mansion and she scrambled to her feet. "n-no!!!" she yelled, taking step back away from them, beginning to spark. "Leave me alone!!" she screamed in anger and distress. "DH can't answer the phone! She goes away and I can't see her or talk to her... but I at least had Akash!!" she cried out, tears threatening to spill forth again. "I need to see my brother!!" she demanded before turning to take off running again.

"...s**t..." he cursed under his breath and kicked off to take off running after her. "Stormy, wait! I understand that you're determined to search across Tretera for your brother, but you don't even know where to look, you will get lost. This world is huge and it would take you months maybe even years to find him. But if you stay, you are absolutely guaranteed to see him in one month. I promise that."

Her run slowed to a walk then to a complete stop as she stared at the ground, the electricity that had built up faded and she stood there, defeated. He was right. She had no idea where he or DH were. Reaching back into her pocket, she pulled out the two feathers, tears spilling down her cheeks.

She turned around and slowly walked back, still holding onto the red and black feathers and never even bothered to look at either of the adults as she stood there, given up on running.

Moira stood there, unsure on what to do - she had no real knowledge of what was actually happening between Stormy and her parents now that she had been given a vague understanding of what was going on with the two kids that she had met during the Halloween Ball. Back then, she had only the kids side of what was going on, but now she was being told a little bit of what was going on - but it isn't fully what was going on.

Letting out a sigh, she watched Stormy start to run off, starting to take steps towards her, though as the child stopped, she watched her walk back over. Moira wanted to console her some how, some way, and sadly the only way she knew how was to give her a hug and say that she'd listen and that she was there, but Stormy said to not touch her.

"Would..you like a hug?" she offered quietly, kneeling down to be on her level.

Stormy drew back, shying away as Moira kneeled down to her level. The offer for a hug was met with an immediate panicked response as she took a step back. "N-no!..." she exclaimed then paused and frowned. "...don't touch me..." she muttered, obvious that she was very uncomfortable with the idea. She was still holding onto the feathers as she looked down at them.

Rasiel looked down at her, knowing the feeling of being abandoned, not sure when the people you cared about would come back. He also knew that Moira was familiar with the same feelings. Taking a deep breath, he motioned for Stormy to come back with them.

Akash looked between the two adults and seemed scared and apprehensive but took a step forward none-the-less.
