xxxxx Luimira, The City of Sin. Life in excess was how Nalia grew up. Born to a street whore and a pimp when protection just wasn't as protective as it should have been. Life was rough from day one for the young woman. Her mother was too busy trying to survive to be much of a mother and her father spent more time on the streets trying to earn money to ever be home. It was a miracle Nalia made it out of infancy. It was a rough life, but she wouldn't have chosen any other, after all it was fun too. Stealing to survive was a game. Lying to get something of worth/ Manipulating people to achieve your ends. It was one big game to the girl. She won some, she lost some, but she always managed to survive. Where some might see this as a depressing lot in life, Nalia saw it only as a starting point and the more she gained the more her own worth. She saw the people around her, content or complacent with their lot in life and felt nothing but disgust. She wasn't going to stay at the starting point forever. She was far to important for all of that.
Nalia left home young, moving to the streets to escape the disgust she felt for her parents. The streets were more her home at that point anyways. Falling in with a simple crowd of thugs was of course the next obvious step. Drug runners to be precise. Small pieces in a much larger game. It was while working with these runners that she discovered more about her natural abilities. A natural understanding for complex things, specifically in her case, Magic and Machines. Practice made perfection out of her natural talents. The money she earned from her night job, running drugs, she spent on equipment to further her skills in her talents, well and to buy some of the inventory she ran for herself, but that was unimportant. It was in this manner Nalia lived her life, planning for the future and taking pleasure where she could find it.

Talent Name: Datamancy Talent Description: Datamancy is a combination between magic and machine. Nalia was born with a deep understanding of the things around her, and their make up. Using this understanding she can break things down around her into amorphous "Data Constructs" or "Programs". Her natural magic doesn't just stop there however. Given a correct medium she can store away these Data Constructs or Programs for later use, using the third and final form her magic can take, changing Data Constructs or Programs into physical manifestations. This where things become slightly more strange. Depending on what was manifested the physical form changes. Programs tend to be more magic like. An imitation of a spell. Fireballs. Light Bursts. Things of that manner. Data Constructs tend to take on physical forms. A giant wall. A Phantom Suit of Armor. This is also the classification a person would fall under should they be broken down and then reconstructed. Talent Weakness: The weakness of this talent is very simple. It takes energy to break anything down. If that something is an attack coming at you, then no less than the energy spent by the attacker will stop it. Additionally for beings that are self aware the mind acts as "Firewall" if you will. If they do not give their permission you cannot break them down or reconstruct them. How did the character get this talent?: Maybe I was born this way.

E - Rank • Data Conversion [ C ] - Rank E - S The foundation of Datamancy, Data Conversion does exactly what its name suggests. A field of Magic is projected from the caster's body. This first wave is simple analysis. It does what amounts to a magical full scan of the targeted subject, object or thing. The field of magic takes only a moment to do this, before reversing it's flow direction, beginning to come back tot he caster and as it does it strips away layer after layer of the things physical form, converting it in to Data to be stored within a device or container. The use of this specific spell is impossible without some form of Data Storage Device.
