Ariya looked down at her fluffy haired daughter as they made their way to Rishima's place. It had been a trip that she had been meaning to take for a while now but only just recently had the time to make it. The tall woman wanted to introduce her child to Rishima and vice versa.

Of course she had her snaptrotter with her bringing up the rear to make sure that her little one didn't decide to wander off. "Come on Subira, we're almost there." After their stop at the market to get a few things Ariya had wanted to make the trip quickly. Though she had been amused to see that her baby had found a hybrid and was clung to them shortly before they headed out. That would make meeting Rishima a bit more easy. "Do you have the gift with you?" Ariya thought to ask last minute.

Rishima made a couple of rounds around his place, making sure that it was nice and clean. He had been fretting about that for a while now since he was having company over for the first time in a long time. It wasn't often that they had company and it wasn't often that he went out, as such he wanted to make sure that everything was nice for the visit of his friend and her daughter. He wanted their place to be presentable since Gerraden and Rishima had worked so hard to make their place beautiful. It was a place he wanted to show off to others but he just didn't have the opportunity. A shame that Gerraden wasn't in at the moment as he'd like for him to meet Ariya and the little one... if only to see if he might get an idea from the visit.

After checking on everything one last time he then went to check up on the food that he had on over the cook fire. He'd made a simple stew in case Ariya and her daughter were hungry by the time they arrived, as well as some sweets made with various fruits that he'd gathered. He hoped that the food would be something his guests would enjoy.

"Brier? Are you still here?" He called out, wondering if the stray feline that came by from time to time for food was still around. It didn't seem it as it was quiet and the little blue beast wasn't pawing at him looking for attention and treats. He might be out again, off doing... well, whatever it was that perzi did when they were on their own. A shame as he wanted to try to get the kitten to stay longer. In fact he wanted him to just decide to stay for good but he had no such luck quite yet. Soon, maybe? He just had to give him time to settle into the idea of being a domestic cat instead of a feral one that mooched food.

She was too busy skipping and jumping into the exact places that her mother stepped that she failed to notice the house until they were right up on it. Subira had to halt what she was doing to look and that resulted in her falling back onto her bottom. She giggled at the mistake and got to her feet as quickly as she could so that she could brush herself off and grin up at her mother. "I gots it!" She all but shouted as she rushed forward before Ariya could beat her to the door.

Subira knocked four times and bounced as she waited. "Uncle! Uncle! We're here!" The child's impatience taking over as she tried to verbally signal that they were outside as well.

She laughed at her child as she seemed to be determined to do things on her own. Though there was a visible wince that came from her as Subira hollered at the door. She hadn't meant for her little one to do that. Ariya patted her daughter's head gently just as the door opened and she looked at Rishima with an apologetic smile. "Sorry for the loud entrance, how are you?" She had no more than uttered the words than her youngling was rushing inside.

Ariya felt her antennae twitch as she wasn't liking the pushy behavior. "Subira. Where are your manners?" She used a stern voice to show she was displeased.

After that, however, she nodded at Rishima. "Thank you for letting us visit. Subira is a bit excited." The mention of food made her smile. Ariya wasn't hungry but she knew that her little one would consume whatever food there was to have. She took after Ariya in that area at least.

With a little chuckle Rishima said, "It's quite alright. I don't mind at all, sister." He gave a smile, his antennae giving a little bounce before he said, "I am doing quite well, thank you. How are the twin of you? How was the trip here? I hope that it was without incident." While things seemed pretty peaceful these days there were some dangerous beasts out there. So long as they made it here without having to worry about such things though Rishima would be happy. It was the one downside of living out in the woods, just Gerraden and himself, that there were a lot of wild beasts to worry about.

Looking down at Subira who was saying she was hungry and could eat he said, "Alright, I will get you something to eat then, little sister. I would love to hear what you two think. I've taken up cooking since moving out here and would like opinions." For the most part he only cooked for Gerraden so this would be a nice change of pace!

A small shake of her head was given. "The trip was an easy one." Thankfully they hadn't run into any wild trouble. Unless one counted Subira among the wild. Ariya chuckled and looked down at her daughter as she clung to Rishima.

"Subira, please. You know better." Sometimes she wasn't sure where the energy that her little one had came from. Ariya was more of a relaxed and take it slow type. She looked at her friend then and offered a half smile. "I forgot the ones I made for you and your mate at home so I stopped at the market to get this one." She really needed to get her things organized at home but Subira's things were everywhere.

She was all too happy to put the necklace on Rishima and giggled as she did. Once it was in place she looped her arms around him and hugged him tightly, almost to the point of taking his air away. "Glad you like it Uncle!" Subira grinned at him again.

There was a small pause and then she let go so that she could look at him expectantly. "Can I has food now?" There was a small bounce in her feet as she stood in place. Apparently she was more concerned about getting to eat now. Though she was pleased that he liked the gift and stayed clung to him as much as she could get away with.

Giving a smile and a nod he said, "Of course! How much would you like? How hungry are you?" He asked of Subira as he moved over to where some stew was bubbling within a big cauldron. Fetching a bowl for Subira he set to dishing up an amount that he hoped would be the right amount for someone her size and age. He hadn't dealt with younglings a lot, just here and there with his sister Jerarda's children, so it was still a learning experience. Once he'd had the stew dished up he offered it to her along with a spoon.

As he did so he looked over at Ariya, then around the house for a moment, and back again, "Sadly he isn't in today. I'd of like for you two to be able to meet him." He said, his antennae bouncing at just the thought of Gerraden. Something he forced himself to get under control since he likely looked like a foolish prentice at the moment. Something that tended to happen a lot when Gerraden came to mind. Giving her a smile he said, "I hope that he is home during one of your visits so that the two of you can say hello."
