It had been a while since Tullio started seeing Iris more and more. He had never officially asked her out, but it felt like they were an item for sure. All the same, That didn't set well with Tullio. He was a bit of a stickler for things being a certain way -- at least from time to time. Taking a deep breath as he held up the one thing, the one item in this world that was his true nemesis -- the phone -- the junior painstakingly dialed each number belonging to Iris' phone. He might as well have had butterflies going crazy in his stomach as the sound of ringing through the receiver rang in his ear. The young man was all nerves as he waited and hoped that Iris was around to pick up.Yushika i know you have a lot going on, but i thought this could be cute and fun with everything going on

It had been a bit since Iris saw Tullio. Plenty of it had to do with her own focus on studies recently as exams were coming up. Another part was the nerves. The unrelenting nerves that made you want to kick yourself for even considering having a crush on your best friend. That's right, she had a crush, and she had finally become painfully aware of it. People were right, being a teenager was hard!
Luckily, Tullio had called her at the right time. She was sprawled on her bed, her knee length hair pulled into a messy bun with strands falling out, framing her face. She had her phone in her hands, lazily typing away to look for a new app to download when Tullio's name popped up. Speak of the devil....
"Hello?" She chimed as she answered the phone, her free hand nervously twirling a strand of hair around her fingers.

The first ring had his heart pounding. The second one had him questioning if this was a good idea. Then came the sound of someone picking up on the other end. Iris' sweet voice answering his call made Tullio's brain blank out for a moment. Normally it wasn't so bad, but maybe his reasoning for calling may have had him in a bit of a brain blank before he answered back.
"H-hi!" Well that was a great start. He gave a nervous laugh before trying again. "It's been a while since we've gotten to talk. I miss you." Crud. Was that too forward? "How, er, goes the studying?" he asked as he stumbled over his tongue. This was going great. Yup.
