Zeerah prowled the halls, looking for a hapless victim to pounce on. He was feeling particularly mischievous today, as his twin had completed rebuffed his attempts to hang out. Honestly, if Xero spent any more time with his nose in a book he'd forget what the sun looked like. Not that he cared, necromancers preferred the dark in any case. Zeerah scowled at the idea of his brother pursuing the taboo magic at such a young age, but it's not like he'd stop him; twins always stuck together, no matter what. 'One day he'll realise that...' he thought sadly.
Trying to recover from his bitter thoughts, Zeerah turned his attention to the task at hand; totally scaring the living daylights out of some freshling. In his experience there were two ideal prank-victims: super shy and shaking scaredy cats or, and this was his preference, uptight know-it-alls who think nothing can scare them. Zeerah laughed at the memory of some of the kids he'd frightened in the past. "Thank the stars I use my powers for good," he said to himself in a mock-proud voice.

For Anubis, he was up to his usual more resonsible roles. They weren't things he necessarily needed to do, especially considering his age... but from an early point in his life, he'd taken it upon himself to take charge and control of... well.. what ever he could!
Today, that entailed making sure his room was spotless, and perfectly tidy. He'd spent his free time in making the place spick and spam, his familiars distracting him from time to time. Afterwards, his wings were preened and groomed thoroughly, molting feathers disposed of, and the remaining smoothed uniformly. Neatness always put him at ease~ it was something he had control over!
With most everything sorted in his own personal space, he went on to do something a little more fun~ He'd seen some magazines left behind in one of the rooms by the older kids, that had lots of cool fashion. Maybe he could borrow one... Toddling along his way, peeking through a few bare, open rooms, he would pause to step inside a few of them and tidy where other young kids had left things strewn about.

Zeerah yawned and stretched his arms, placing his hands behind his head casually. The halls were surprisingly sparse and he was beginning to think they day would go victimless until - what was this? A prissy little freshling looking fresh and perfect. And - could this be? Were they cleaning up other people's rooms? A mischievous grin crept onto his face. Oh, this was just too easy. Zeerah faded and slipped through the wall behind the freshling.
He'd start with something small, of course. Seeing a pile of clothing the freshling had just adjusted, Zeerah pushed it gently, spreading clothes all across the floor. Quickly, before he could be spotted, the hybrid phased back through the wall again, leaning against it and stifling a laugh. He had no doubt his teachers would be horrified at how he was using his 'gift' at natural fading.

Fluffing up some pillows that had been half-hazardly tossed to the ground, he placed them ever so precisely back in their place. There, much better~
But his big ears twitched at the sound of shifting fabric, making him snap around to see the once perfectly folded clothes now fallen to the ground! how had that happened??? frowning, he huffed and hurried over to them, as if scooping them up fast enough would lessen the damage. Dusting them off a little, he carefully refolded each article and replaced them again. He looked around slowly, frowning deeper... no one was about.... maybe he'd set them too close to the edge...?

Zeerah risked peeking into the room to see the freshling's expression. Just a little surprised and annoyed, not nearly as bothered as he could be. With a grin Zeerah phased through again while the other freshling was replacing the fallen clothes. Spotting a possibility for mischief, he phased into the wardrobe in the room. Trying his hardest not to laugh, he started to make the wardrobe shake from the inside, throwing his weight around. He decided not to push it and making booing noises... yet. Once he was satisfied with the creepiness level he'd accomplished, he quickly phased back through the wall into the adjacent room.musicaloner7 i'm so sorry i took so long omg !!
