This Viking will be lead by a female Captain (NPC) who has been looking for a small group of lions to investigate some caves. Of course there will be plundering and perhaps even a capture.

Sabia and Zjarri were in the midst of a staring contest - a snarl hooking up the lip of the blue lioness' maw as she began to speak again. "I said, out with it." Her pink eyes narrowed at her companion in a threatening manner that unfortunately yielded little result.
"We haven't the time for play." The red lioness mused at Zjarri, Sabias golden eyes behind the mask of bone glimmered as she hid a smile. "I was only going to propose an opportunity, one I think you ought to take." She began to move forward and thus deeper into the caverns the pair were told to scout out. Zjarri had held her tongue and settled her pelt with paw before following suit with little enthusiasm.
"What is it you're proposing? You better make it quick, I thought I heard other voices heading our way." Dark ears swiveled seeking the sounds of paws - all she heard were muffled directions handed out by their Captain, a lionesses she had yet to see falter.
"Y'know what, nevermind that." Her eyes narrowed once more, sure that she wouldn't want to know the schemes of her dark pelted and obviously blood thirsty partner in crime. They were obviously of dark minded thoughts that they had needed privacy, and it was the privacy she was sure they were about to lose, perhaps the Captain thought the pair of them had gotten lost they had been gone a fair amount of time for simply scouting.
This time it was Sabias turn to narrow her eyes, she understand the need to quiet up, but didn't like being told to do so any less.

Tamala looked at the lion next to her. He was quite big and strong and she could tell that he was definitely born within the pride, unlike her, a wandering rogue who just happened to join because it intrigued her. They were both headed into the cavern, their captain having told them to look within the caves taking note of anything important and if there was anything worth taking back.
She wasn't afraid of these dark caves though, it was interesting to her, she had never explored a cave before, though it looked quite dangerous, she would keep her guard up.Vigge on the other paw felt confident going into the cave. Or at least he had explored some caves before and new somewhat to expect. The cold ground, water dripping, random creatures popping out, you had to be watching out for anything and everything the whole time. And you had to make sure you remembered what direction you had come from too.
He had his own way, he would make small, minuscule markings ever few feet, in places he would look but that wouldn't be obvious. There were other ways too, following the scents of the rest of the group back to the entrance, but he wanted to make sure there were multiple ways to get themselves out of the cave. It could be incredibly deep and go on for days for all he knew, they would have to be careful.

Lo and behold the pair of them had quieted down at just the right time, there weren't any voices, but paw steps interrupted the silence of the cave. So the Captain had sent others along to look through the caves as well, this presented a challenge in having their discussion - yet Zjarri felt distinctly relieved at the delay.
She took lead and began towards the paw steps before spying a pair of recruits in the earlier parts of the cave, it seemed that her and Sabia truly hadn't gotten very far, how unproductive. "Ah, new blood sent to retrieve us?" She smiled at Sabia with a small, but still visible grin that matched one she knew was likely hidden beneath the edges of that mask. "So it would seem." The red lioness mused with her partner.
"Hello there, Tamala? and Vigge?" Zjarri had taken the time to at least recognize the other members of the group they were running with - she'd do the same when, not if, she became a Captain herself. Each part of the group was important and had their place - even someone as violent as Sabia, sometimes especially. "Our names are Zjarri`Fol and my other half is Sabia`Deimos. Or simply Zjarri and Sabia."
The blue lioness had lifted a paw to point towards her partner and herself in a way that designated names. "The Cap'n sent you to follow up, eh?" Pink eyes danced with amusement as she watched the Freeborns. Sabia remained silent the whole while, golden eyes just taking in the scene.

The Tamala and Vigge had finally come upon the other two that had entered the cave. Vigge looked focused as he looked around the cave every so often, checking his surroundings. Tamala was looking ahead and had spotted the other two first and gave them a small smile. She nodded her head in response to Zjarri's question and was glad that she had introduced the two of them to Tamala and Vigge. "Yes. I believe we'll get more done with a larger group too."Vigge only gave a nod to the other two. He was the silent one in his family, not speaking unless he really needed to. Tamala just smiled. " If you have an idea of what to do please lead the way and we'll follow you." Vigge gave a side-eye to the dark-red lioness. She seemed way too polite for him, or at least compared to what he was used to.

Pink eyes to tally of the two before them, one was clearly not of the Viking heritage, though being out here on a Viking showed she desired something more than the basics and the male was certainly of her heritage. The bulky lion would do well one day, this was an ideal start.
"Sabia, why don't you go on and let the Captain know about the caves? They don't appear to hold much beyond the usual bounty." Those same pink eyes that were sizing up the new recruits turned towards her companion with a demand in them. Sabia looked to Zjarri and gave a short nod. "Sure Zjarri, take care where you go in here."
Should be just long enough... Sabias golden eyes turned from Zjarri with that thought, accepting the suggesting without hesitation. This was unusual for her not to bat an eye, but that seemed to be it. It seemed that perhaps their allegiance meant something after all - at the time Zjarri was convinced of this fact and even felt a bit empowered by the fact.
"Tamala, Vigge.. why don't you come with me for now? We can venture a touch further while the Captain takes her time dishing out new orders, perhaps there is a little something for us to find ourselves." She suggested it with a warm grin that was inviting and again, empowered.

Tamala looked slightly worried about having a member go back so soon. They were barely into the cave! Is this what usually happened during a viking? Vigge just looked at Zjarri, ready to follow her down further. Hopefully Sabia was just going to get the captain. However... growing up in the pride, Vigge had heard stories about what some vikings did to their captain, and while he was suspicious, if their captain truly did fall to one viking, then perhaps that captain shouldn't have been promoted. It was a kill or be killed pride, and while being a rogue probably felt the same, you had to be very careful in who you chose to be an ally in the stormborn. He would just make a mental note of what happened here. Better to keep silent about it for now. Tamala tried to get some courage back into her. "Well... if you're sure the captain needs to know..." Vigge looked at her. He would have to have a talk with her later for what to expect in this pride. The lioness had probably come for the fighting and the sense of belonging and didn't truly know what went on here. Vigge turned and nodded to Zjarr. "All right, lead the way then."

The concern was clear in the lionesses pale blue eyes, not something Zjarri was used to seeing in a typical member of the pride, unknowingly her thoughts matched that of Vigge's and she made a mental note to speak with the lioness at a later date.
"What's that ahead?" She asked out loud, not truly directed to anyone in particular. Ah, there was indeed plundering to be done! The blue lioness lead with much more exuberance than before, ignoring the nagging feeling of what Sabia may or may not do without her about - yet she had to remind herself that she was the one that sent the red lioness away. It was the sparkle ahead that had gotten her attention and she hoped would be enough to distract herself and the others she had in tow.
When the blue lioness stopped she was in awe. Ahead of her was some small articles of leather scraps and bones. The articles weren't entirely uncommon, but they were a nice find - if nothing was another option. "Look at what we've found?" Zjarri stepped aside, eager to share the meager spoils they had come across, if these articles were here than the cave was showing promise. In the back of her mind she made note of this to watch out for a follow up if they intended to leave.
---- Meanwhile....
---
Sabia had left the group she was with in a calm demeanor, not giving away much of any excitement or further emotion towards the plans she had, though she was going to keep everything from Zjarri, there was no way she'd get the blue lioness involved. Though her original intention was to have her know about it the world had spoken for them instead and had them interrupted before she had had the chance to speak. "Fine." She murmured to herself, entirely happy to handle the situation all on her own.
Not long after leaving she finally felt the coolness of soil beneath her paws, how refreshing - though not as refreshing as a splash of waters. The idea she had planned wouldn't work now, not without the extra body giving a helping paw and so now she would have to change things up. For the lioness who had been thinking on the fly her entire life, this was nothing. "Captain, you look like you could use a trip to the stream?" The red lioness had approached the Captain with all the innocence of a young and ambitious lioness seeking extra credit, again, not a role so unusual in her lifetime.
The Captain, though hesitant to leave her post in watching the caves with mild interest and maintaining a head count so that not to many wandered off around her, decided that yes as a matter of fact she needed a drink. "Shall you accompany me?" The words that Sabia were waiting eagerly to hear. "Yes." She answered simply. With all in order the pair of them left, now all members of the pride - new or not - were aware of a speeding river that pulsed with lively amounts of activity. Cubs were warned early on that they weren't to go near them for fear of losing their tiny lives. Adults were left to do as they pleased but there was always a pocket here and there that allowed for a small drink further from home. Fortunately they were that far out.
"Up ahead." Sabia pointed ahead with a paw, indeed there was a pocket to her luck. She fell back and let the Captain take a first sip of the delicious waters that were calm as could be in the small pocket and Sabia took her turn. "Have you ever seen such fast paced waters?" She inquired, just as innocently as earlier. It seemed the Captain hadn't caught on to much at this point though a curious stare almost had Sabia worried. "No." The answer was as simple as the other answers. If Sabia had felt sorry for planning what she had planned she wouldn't have felt so after that plain conversation - it reminded her of why she was so amused by Zjarri, the spicy lioness would be suitable in her new position.
--- Sabia has now returned to the group, damp, and acting rightly shocked.
---
"Zjarri!" The yell echoed as Sabia carried herself back towards the group notably alone. "We need to find Zjarri, as soon as possible." She yelled the order nearly immediately as she hit the camp, wide eyes seeking out the cave.

Both Tamala and Vigge followed Zjarri when she started moving again. In her mind, Tamala figured that there had to be a good reason that the other lioness was sent to tell the captain. Meanwhile Vigge was curious as to what Zjarri had seen. When the two came upon what Zjarri had found they were both curious. Tamala was much more interested in the scraps though. She poked at them a bit, and sniffed them, wondering if there would be any scents to follow. Vigge had quickly seen the items and was glad that they had found something, but not too interested in the items that were to be taken. Bones and leather weren’t that interesting to him. He wasn’t a crafter and wasn’t a reader of bones, so neither of them really peaked his interest. He was just glad that they had found something. He nodded towards Zjarri, showing that he knew that they had found something at least, and stepped back, keeping an eye out in case something happened. And something did happen, as they soon heard Sabia crying out in the caves. It seemed that something was very wrong and Vigge was just about to go and see what was wrong when Sabia appeared before them, looking very wet and worried. He was about to ask what was wrong, when Tamala beat him to it. “Sabia! What’s the matter? What happened? Are you okay?”

The pair seemed mildly interested in what Zjarri had found, not much in the way of useful stuff, but stuff none the less. It was a promise that there was something more to be offered in the caves tunnel systems, but it seemed that would have to wait.
Her ears flicked back to hear the sounds of shouting and plenty of disruption from the rather silent day. Something must have happened because if she wasn't mistaken the shouting was coming from none other than Sabia, what had happened that she sounded so alarmed about. Was it truthful? For now the blue lioness pushed aside the question and followed Tamala and Vigge towards the entrance of the cave to the sight of Sabia standing quite still, but clearly concerned.
Before Zjarri could even begin to speak she was beat and pink eyes looked to Tamala, then looked back to her red companion. "The.." The red lioness hesitated and stared directly at Zjarri, golden eyes meeting pink. "The Captain, she fell from the banks of the river and I couldn't find her again." The lioness was still breathing rather heavy from her own running over here. Zjarris eyes widened, but she didn't speak at first as there wasn't much to be said - everyone knew of the waters deadly ways. It was an unforgivable force that could be survived, but not always.
"Are you sure? No sign of her?" Pink eyes narrowed at the red lioness to scrutinize each detail of her reaction to the question. "Zjarri`fol, you have my word. You also have my loyalty... Captain." The blue lioness' eyes widened yet again and she inhaled quickly, almost choking on the air that suddenly entered her throat and lungs. "You what?" Oh no, what did she do...

Tamala looked very surprised and Vigge only raised an eyebrow. Vigge suspected something was going on once Sabia had left and he had been right. Too many lions were vying for the position of Captain and those who weren’t respected often didn’t pay attention when it came to their Reavers. Tamala was worried though, wondering if there was anything that could be done until Sabia called Zjarri captain. Tamala gasped in surprise! “Captain?” Vigge looked over at Zjarri though and through her reaction he could tell the shock was genuine. So, Zjarri may not have been expecting this after all.He nodded quickly. “You also have my loyalty Captain.” At least Sabia wasn’t trying to be Captain… yet. Though Vigge figured that wouldn’t last long. Tamala quickly followed the others and gave her loyalty to the new captain, though she was wondering why they weren’t even trying to look for their old one. “Are we… are we sure we shouldn’t go and try to look?” It seemed though that it was all made up already. They would have their new captain and the old one wouldn’t be found, not that Tamala knew that.

Zjarri`Fol, Captain Zjarri`fol. The thought sent waves of excitement rumbling through the blue lioness, but she also found herself trembling - though not outwardly or in a noticeable fashion. Fortunately she was able to contain herself in the heat of the moment and remain relatively humble.
"Unfortunately, Tamala, the likelihood of her returning to us is very slim. If Sabia believes her to be gone than I will put my trust in her." Zjarri chose her words carefully, selecting what she felt fit in the situation. It was her deepest hopes that she wouldn't fumble and she didn't - it was a proud moment - and though she found herself doubting Sabia,, she wouldn't consider going against her, not now. She'd choose her battle at a later date.
"I appreciate your loyalties." A small nod of a head in appreciation followed suit. "Would anyone like to collect any articles of the caves?" Though the question was directed to all she knew that Tamala had carried a particular interest in some of the goods, she wouldn't have them leave before fetching a trinket or two if they wanted. "If you would like to, go ahead, and we will head back later in the day."

Vigge quietly ‘humphed’ to himself at Zjarri’s words. At this point nothing could be done anyway. “I think we better get back then as soon as possible to inform them of the missing captain.” He wouldn’t argue against them, he knew better than that. Besides, he needed to advance himself and questioning a Captain on his first Viking was not the way to do that. Tamala for her part looked a bit more worried, but eventually nodded her head and moved over to the treasure that they had found. She was interested in taking some of it, and glad that she was offered the chance to take something. Eventually though, they would make it back and Tamala would question herself a bit about the whole ordeal, whether she wanted to continue on this path or not, and if she did, what she could do to better fit into the culture. Mysses Greenie All right, last one, thanks so much!
