The winds had been peaceful today. Shadiya leaned outside a window of her small home so that she could enjoy the warm sea breeze. Mmm. Closing her eyes the woman just ignored the troubles on her mind before closing the wooden blinds. "I suppose it is rather nice out." Pursing her lips thoughtfully Shadiya shifted her basket of laundry on her hip and headed through a hallway so that she could leave it. Folding could wait...why not take the little ones outside so that they could enjoy the beach? Maybe they could even catch their father off training. Smiling Shadiya placed down the basket and opted to grab some clothing from the top. She would freshen up and then wake the babies from their nap and head out.

Surely that would be fine, right?

Humming softly to herself Shadiya pulled the sheer skirt over top of some shorts and tied the back of her top. Running hands through her raven curls the woman smiled. It had been a while since she got to wear something so nice and...revealing since having the babies, but what a better day to do it on than this warm sunny one? A light flush decorated her cheeks, however, as she at the last minute grabbed a shawl before heading down the hallway once more.

When the afternoon came, Dex was more than ready for a break. A new shield-user was showing quite a bit of promise under his guidance. It was a thrilling experience. The kid was pushing himself hard, which pushed Dex hard.

As nice as it was, it was also tiring, and he was ready for time off. Teaching was as demanding as learning, and he was still doing both! Now, was relaxation practice! He headed toward the beach. Shade had mentioned wanting to get out there lately with the children. He wasn't sure if she would be there, but either way, it was be a good break.

"What do you say, sweetie? Wanna go to the beach?" Shadiya smiled as she rubbed her daughter's hair, "We can go play and maybe even bring food to your daddy." The woman watched her daughter's excitement building up, "I just need you to get your brother ready for me while I pack some food, okay?"

Seeing Kyril's nod, Shadiya smiled before turning so that she could head out of the room and prepare a quick basket, "Koril! Mommy is getting food so we can go out to the beach~" She called out in the hallway as she noticed the door peeking open, "Watch out, Kyril is incoming!" It was a playful statement, but one which alerted anyone of the flurry of steps that would be heading down the hallway soon.

At the beach, Dexurn cleared a spot in the shade of a few trees. After all, he had been out in the sun for most of the day. With a bottle of juice in hand, he stretched out on his back and sighed contently. Maybe he would squeeze in a nap.

As she finished preparations Shadiya found herself grabbing a few extra things. Perhaps it was a good idea after all for her to have bought extra sweets and bread from the market the other day. I suppose maybe I do have some good foresight. She just hoped that Dexurn could be around. What if he was busy? Then she would find find some excuse for him...if he didn't mind that was. She thought to herself before tucking the supplies into a latched basket and heading back towards the door, "Ready when you are~" She called out before waiting...

Some time passed by, and Dex thought he was going to go through his break with seeing no one. However, his brow lifted when he heard some familiar excited voices. He couldn't help smiling, standing to look around for the sources.

When he saw one little form running onto the beach, followed by two others, he held his arms wide. "Come here, you!"

Blinking Shadiya glanced up happily as she heard the familiar voice, "Papa!" She quoted her children as they both bolted forward towards her husband. Laughing though the woman took a few long strides with her basket bouncing along her arms. She wanted to be like them and leap into those arms as well, but she would behave...this time.

Smiling Shadiya approached her love with a bright smile, "Surprise. Care for a picnic?" She held up the basket towards him, "I figured we could all use a break since it was a beautiful day today."

Scooping Koril up into his arms, his other hand reached down to pet Kyril's cheek. "A picnic?" He chuckled lightly and leaned over to catch Shade's lips for a kiss. "Sounds perfect." Turning, he pointed over to where he'd been sitting. "I have a space cleared over there, or would you rather sit in the sun?"
