The nights were long now. Winters cold hand was securely around the city and Harmonia was once again forcing herself out into the cold night to patrol. It was this time of year she was not fond of her job as a senshi. Sure, the magic helped keep her form freezing, but it still wasn't necessarily pleasant. Still, she didn't shirk her duties. And, as it was, she found herself standing on a rooftop downtown as a cold winter breeze whipped at the ribbons and lace of her fuku while her hair, annoyingly, blew into her face.
There was no one around. In fact, it had been surprisingly quiet the past few patrols she'd been on. Not even a youma had shown itself to her, so as she stood there on that roof she wondered if maybe she should call it an early night? Get some decent sleep?
And it was about then that a very large aura caught her attention. It was headed in her direction and was growing with intensity. "Another Eternal?" She whispered softly to herself as she pushed her curls from her face once again and looked in the direction of the signature. She bit at her lip, she didn't recognize the signature at all. It was certainly order though.
Making the decision she ran and hopped off the roof to the next one, and continued on her way towards the new person. If nothing else perhaps she would have a reason to stay out a bit longer tonight? Expanding her connections was the best thing for her to do. Plus, making new friends was always nice.
It didn't take her long until she saw the man she sensed as he himself roamed the rooftops. She made her way over to him, taking care not to slip on the few slick spots on the roof. After all, it wouldn't do to make a fool of herself right off the bat. "Hi!" She said brightly once she got into ear shot.

To say the cold bothered him anymore was both a truth and a lie. It bothered him the way a hot day did. Too much, it hindered. But as Castor, he'd gotten used to being in his fuku, and as a royal, to the pantless state. But on that same coin, he strode in a world covered in snow half the year in that same bare royal attire. Powering up just outside his usual area, he'd heard rumor of increased nightly activity, and when it came too close to something he had a vested interest in, Castor would have rather remove a threat than sit idle and let it fester under the surface. As he let magic roll over him, the wing bow behind him soft on his arms, he felt the signal of another order member nearing. Taking the time to begin his usual stretching, blue eyes looked up to find himself in the presences of another eternal, one he didn't rightly know. Clearly a problem. The smile that was given to every woman, Castor winked. "Hey there sweetness, what can I do you for?" She was- her fuku didn't give her power away. "Prince Castor of Hail, at your service."

Harmonia continued to smile brightly at the man, her hands clasping just behind her amongst the feathers of her butt wings. She didn't recognize the man, that was for certain. In fact, she wasn't sure how she could have gone so long without meeting him before?
Wait...no...no, she hadn't lost any powered memories except of that night. The thought caused her bright, cheery smile to falter a bit but she bounced back quickly enough. After all, this Prince, PRINCE seemed delightful enough. And, she hadn't rightly met a prince before.
"I didn't recognize your signature and thought I would come along and meet you. I don't like not knowing people." She remarked. "I am Harmonia, senshi of Harmony. Yes, yes. I know my name matches my domain a little too well." That always seemed to be an ongoing joke for those she introduced herself to.
She tilted her head, blue and pink curls shifting on her shoulders, and looked at him. "A prince, huh? I have to admit, I've not met a prince before." She had met Princess Polaris and apparently Ganymede as well, but the older girl hadn't been powered up when she remembered meeting her. "Have you been around long?" The question flew from her lips before she could think about it. She visibly winced and unclasped her hands from behind her. "Sorry. I guess you must have been since you're a prince and all."
She sighed and tried to recover from her little fumble. "Anyway, um, if you don't mind some company if you're going out on patrol, mind if I tag along? I am better suited to patrol with others." Not that I patrol with others often, but it's certainly the truth that I'd be better off if I did.istoleyurvamps Here ya go. Enjoy 1 awkward teenager.

He laughed, getting closer feeling that it was only natural when he was trying to be friendly, especially towards someone who didn't have their ear near a serpent's tongue so to say. "My signature?" He have a shrug, "Royals tend to flux. We either pass as eternals or decide to become fires for the moths of chaos. Bane and boon really. The name's cute though- Harmonia the goddess of peace. Fitting. Castor was more a tragic figure if anything." Close enough now, he reached down, grabbing her hand and planting a kiss to it with all the charm his Italian heritage could afford him. "It's alright that you don't know me. I'm old blood in a way- back from when Hillworth had beasts in it's backdoors and entire schools vanished overnight. When Nealite was the wife of Charonite and Beryl the boogyman queen." When their world had seemed grim yet hopeful, rather than just grim. "I lost my wife a few years ago and took a sabbatical in Europe. Not as many agents but-" He trailed off. There were no cats he knew of out there. And what senshi there were lived in hiding. "I've returned and thats whats important. I don't mind talking about myself or my past really. It's fine. Even as a royal I don't know everyone obviously enough." She was younger but he figured some light hearted flattery couldn't hurt. "But as a prince, I'd be poor nobility not to escort you through the night." he winked at her. "Lead the way- tell me about your power, what you can do. If you ask nicely I'd even take you to my home fair lady Harmonia." He pointed upwards making it clear which home he was meaning.

Harmonia found herself blushing. Whether it was the compliment to her name, his charming demeanor, or the fact that he had kissed her hand was unknown even to her. Either way, Castor had quite easily charmed the 16 year old. Not that charming her would take much work. After all, she was a 16 year old who found herself wanting the interests of someone. And...well, she was also dealing with hormones.
"Oh um....then...then I feel like I should have met you at some point." She furrowed her brow as she tried to place his face, but...wait...nope. Nothing was coming to her. Maybe she had met him when he was powered completely up? But surely she would still recognize him? Then that little seed of doubt came rushing in again. "Hm, well, maybe having been gone is why I don't know you, and you're right. There are a lot of us it seems."
She tilted her head, contemplating his white hair. Was he older than he seemed? Or wait...was it platinum? It was hard to tell in the light. In some way, it looked odd on him, but at the same time it was a alluring look.
She was quickly back to being charmed by the prince.
"OH! Oh, right, well um, I am starting out a new patrol to change things up." She smiled at him and gesture din the way she was going to go. "I've noticed an increase in youma in the section I've started going to." His question about her powers caused her to hesitate before moving in the direction she had indicated. "Uh, well, my powers aren't all that useful without a partner or group. Wait, no, my eternal magic is a bit more effective, but..." She realized she was rambling and took a breath to settle herself. "I can pretty much give other people a power boost, or I can sort of...well, cripple isn't a good word, but affect people who have malicious intent towards another."
"Since I tend to patrol on my own, I don't utilize it near as much as I probably should." And her lack of partner was merely from a lack of finding someone who worked at the same time as she did or preferred a similar route. "I doubt you'll need any sort of power boost from me though." She said shyly with another blush.

Waving it off, he didn't think senshi should know him. Of him yes. But him personally was asking a bit much. He did find Harmonia's near constant talk a bit fun though. It had been a long time since he'd joined with one of the more youthful senshi. At least one that had some basic humility. Not that he could really talk on matters such of ego. As she did finish her explanation the man made a show of the hum of contemplation and the rub of his chin in thought. She was someone who needed a partner and could redirect hostilities? He wasn't the type who's likely be able to draw out her best potential. A knight perhaps or a senshi that was more defense oriented. "Our magics are always useful- it is simply a matter of figuring out how to maximize their effectiveness. In example I summon hail. In battle this can be used to harm or deter the use of certain pathways, guiding my enemy into a trap or to a more strategic location." Following her lead, Castor looked to the distance, a flicker of chaos before it vanished. Perhaps it was just sizing them up- or calling for aid. "And you'd be wrong. Even as a royal I'm not invincible. Rule one of your magic- do not doubt what it can do. That said, have you ever used it on yourself?" He'd done it once on purpose. One time was enough when it came to understanding his magic.

The flicker didn't go unnoticed by the Eternal but certainly wasn't thought of in the same manner as the Prince whom she had teamed up with for the evening. Instead she just merely made note of it and put aside for the time being. Whatever it was though, it had flared up so quickly and died back down again she couldn't quite tell what it was.
"I don't mean to put down my magic." She said carefully as she led the way through Destiny City, glancing over her shoulder at the man. "It's just better if I have someone with me. It gives me a useful target." Green eyes flicked forward for a moment to gauge a jump from one building to another. As soon as her heels hit the rooftop again, she was right back to the conversation at hand. "And no, I can't cast it on myself. I've tried, but nothing happens."
Curls and ribbons trailing behind her, she contemplated Castor's comment about Royals being invincible. Perhaps this went back to her love of fairy tales or the fact that it had been a royal herself who had saved her from Laurelite, but Harmonia thought very highly of them all. It was odd to hear one say that they weren't invincible when they seemed like great lights in the darkness.
"I will admit though, I've only had reason to use my eternal magic twice. It affects an area of people around me, but hasn't had any affect on me at all." Thinking back, she couldn't really remember if it had affected anyone but those she had intended or not. In the thick of battle, things tended to become hazy when trying to think back.
Deciding to change the subject form her own magic though, she focused on Castors. "All of your magic deals with hail then? Or is that just one of your attacks?" She was genuinely curious. After all, if they did end up fighting something she'd want to at least know the magic of whom she was fighting with, especially someone who seemed to know so much.

Another hum, Castor considered what she described. She'd not make much headway on her own, not without resorting to direct physical aggression to which she'd be at a disadvantage most of the time. She didn't seem the type to get that level of aggression but these days it was better to know than make assumptions. "At least comfort this old blood with being on some sort of training regimen. If there is one thing that makes me worry its senshi who lack formal training in self defense. Our magics and super human healing is meaningless unless we actively seek ways to protect ourselves." It was a truth. Most did but others thought that street fighting was enough. It wasn't. Instinct only got you so far. "And yes and no. Hail is the core of who I am. My basic and super attacks summon it directly, my eternal attack is one that uses my body as a conduit." his hand opened and closed. "I coat my fist in ice before attacking. A double edge sword often enough, but when done right, my enemy does not recover. They stay where they fall." A polite way of saying he used it in a rather brutally effective manner. "As a royal, my magic is not that limited however. I can use my tiara or laurels to kill youma with ease. I can also summon an armor upon my body to place myself in the heat of battle without worry of being hindered for a short while. My crystal however-" He smiled. "My crystal summons hail far greater and more devastating than any senshi magic. In theory, I could destroy a decent part of the city if I willed it." He was proud of such a fact. "It is my magic. I am a prince from an empire lost to chaos and time- so my magic was made to provide me with the tools to accomplish my goals. Our magic is who we are and what we are. I have come to embrace that part of myself. For better and worse."

Harmonia blushed slightly at the mention of a training regimen. That was something she had not really done besides the occasional training she had with friends and those times were few and far between. So, to say the least, she was hardly trained and went by the seat of her pants which could explain why she found herself in so many situations that weren't to her benefit. "I...I don't really know who to go to to get a set training regime. I mean, I don't know if my parents would much like me joining a gym dedicated to learning any sort of fighting techniques." She was her parents only child and protected as such.
As Castor went on about his magic, Harmonia found herself somewhat...frightened by the scale of which his magic could be utilized for such brutal fighting. She didn't hold it against him. His magic was what it was and he used it as he could. Harmonia was just very much aware that she could never, personally, use her magic in such a brutal way. Of course, that brought up the question of, could she use her magic to boost someone doing such brutal fighting? The answer to that wasn't easy.
He did have a point though about embracing what you could do. She just...hadn't figured that out yet. "How long did it take you." She paused and realized she should elaborate more. "I mean, how long did it take until you really felt you understood and could utilize your magic to it's fullest?"

"I can help you, as can many others. As a civilian, self defense is a great way to start. I mean, even if you were not a senshi, its a good thing to know." Silence between them he took a while to find his answer for her question. It wasnt that it was hard just that it was not simple. "Years." He shook his head. "I still cannot claim a mastery- I am in control now, I direct the eb and flow, but the true power and potential is still out of reach. For now, we are limited, but we should always strive to become better. That said, it's late." He smiled. "Shouldn't you be heading home?"

"I'd like to learn, for sure." She said with certainty. The bit she had learned thus far had been incredibly useful, but to expand on that knowledge would be even more beneficial. Sure, she had no intentions of harming anyone, but to feel confident in protecting herself...well, that would be amazing and make the battlefields slightly less scary.
As he explained his understanding of his own magic, Harmonia began to feel a bit better about herself. If this man had taken so long to feel in control of his magic, and he was a princ,e than surely it would take awhile for her to understand the benefits and uses of her own magic. She'd only been fighting for shy of 3 years and only an eternal for a fraction of the time. Surely she'd get to the point he was at. It was still frustrating though.
"Late?" She had been so absorbed in what they were talking about that she had lost complete track of time. Her curiosity always managed to demand the majority of her attention. "OH! I hadn't even noticed." A blush crept onto her cheeks. "I am sorry if I talked your ear off. I get a little too involved in conversations sometimes. Especially when I am able to learn something new. Plus, you've been so nice!" She smiled. "But yea, I should get home. I've already been caught out of bed before and really don't want to get grounded again." She said matter-of-factly, like the man should completely understand her woes of being a teenager under the rules of his parents.

A soft smile crept across his face. "Go home then. I'll stand by until I can't sense you. If anything shows I'll take care of it." A hand rose up to pat her on the shoulder. "Stay safe alright?"
