Still drugged

The men in the room took notes on the responses, appearing not to pry much farther for some reason. They moved out of the room and some minutes later a woman with long black hair and gold eyes entered with a hurried fashion, coming to kneel in front of Tri with a flicker of worry. "Tri.... Tri, are you okay?" she asked, looking pissed but concerned.

Tri lowered his head when they left, trying to concentrate, knowing this was bad but not knowing why. He felt mildly sick and when the room wasn't moving it wasn't very sharp either. Closing his eyes he let out a sigh, not hearing the foot steps or the person as they knelt. The voice snapped him awake again as he raised his head, silver eyes barely glowing tried to focus on the face in front of him noting the voice sounded odd for who he saw. For once that didn't alarm him, almost nothing seem to alarm him. "Mara...." he said quietly with relief as he tried to lean forward to rest his head on her shoulder but only pulled at the restraints futilely.

The woman sighed with a bit of relief and leaned forward to hug him and let him rest his head on her shoulder. "You're alive.. They told me you were dead but I didn't believe them. I guess threatening people really does pay off..." she commented softly, trying to joke a bit but still sounded worried. "Luckily, they don't think you were involved with Criel.. But they think Ree still did it, saying that he might be working with Kage... That they also worked together to take Hexxis. That's what they think anyway..." she whispered next to his head, trying to keep the conversation between them. "Please tell me you havent talked to Ree recently... the less contact with him right now, the better..."

Trisuri relaxed listening to her even is a part of his mind kept trying to warn him about ..something. As she reached the part where her information deviated from the truth her shook his head a little, wanting to get out of this chair and lay his head on her lap like he did when he was little. Why would he be dead? he wasn't dead...

"No....no. Ree....gathered people. He gathered Renegades..SIU...random metas to rescue Hexxis from Kage, I think because she is his sister... but they don't get along now .. not since Hexxis ran away with Zephyr...I hate him." he said taking a breath trying not to cry from frustration.

" Kage frame Ree in parley... that is what the Renegades said ..they also said Ree wasn't with them... saving Hexxis was personal because she is Zaku's daughter. They called me to take her back...because I am who she ..considers her father. We caught ....some of them. Ree too because he was with them...I thought they were working together.. then... ::he frowned wings shifted within their bonds as if what the was trying to remember was painful::

They escaped... Hexxis and I chased them... We caught Ree, Zaku and Andy...I let Zaku go so we didn't have to owe him... I made a deal he stays away from Ree and I keep Ree away from them and under control. Ree escaped while we were busy. Sorry.....I know you hate Zaku...couldn't find DNA strands...should have asked. Worried when I let him go.. but didn't matter in the long run

I haven't heard from Ree since you mentioned he brought Ashral's body back to SIU..... she was trying to kill me... ::he frowned:: She wasn't trying to kill you? Ree was stupid.... falling in love with a malice.


She listened to him carefully as he spoke, just staying close so their conversation could stay private, resisting the urge to smile out of the sheer amusement of how easily he spilled all this information to someone he thought was his mother. "I still don't doubt that the Renegades played a huge part in all this.." she sighed. "But it doesn't look like they are still holding onto the notion you were with them, even though they probably will keep believing Ree was. That's what he gets for being an idiot, it seems." she paused. "Wait, you captured Zaku and let him go?!" she hissed quietly then forced a sigh, "Never mind, that's not important right now. What's important is that they are going to start looking for Hexxis because they think she's involved somehow. Where is she right now? Is she still with Zephyr? I might need to send someone to make sure they don't get to her first, give her a heads up."

Tri nodded slightly as she spoke then flinched and his wings lowered a bit at Mara's hiss. He knewing she would hate the news but it was better than owing Zaku. He knew he could have easily ignored that and kept him anyways...but he had his values. Even so he wondered right now why he cared so much then.

"Unfortunately. She picked him.....they are...dating " he muttered sadly and nodded. "Belosh ... the café...a café... I " he looked like he was trying to move to get something but then relaxed a second later. "I remember... Espresso Yourself. Idiot is not even hiding.." he muttered waiting for Mara to comment.

The woman grumbled slightly, "I see... A mercenary opening a cafe.. Sounds like a front but okay... I'll send someone to swing by there to check it out. Make sure she's still okay." There was a bit of silence as her voice died down. "Looks like they might let you out soon since they can't find any ties between you and the assassination. Which is a relief. I wish I had come sooner, but not much I can do being ex-military. My hands are tied on the matter." she paused again and gave a longer more sorrowful sigh, "Where are you staying? They said you were alone. Maybe I can come see you after this all dies down. Find a way to get you back into SIU again."

Tri lifted his head and frowned at her faintly as if what she said was off. Mara would have been loud because she dislike the way Belosh had their mercenary system...allowing those with warrants to join and keep on working and Zephyr was from Belosh. The frown slowly faded as he just rested his head on her shoulder again, ignoring it she likely had a reason. "Don't work to hard. You're sleeping? Eating? How about that pain in your side?" he muttered quietly, concerned. Sighing he tried to focuse back at her question his wings shifting again in nervousness. "I think it's a font too but Hexxis will figure it out or not. I still think he's using her..she doesn't want to see it though" he sighed then. "I know... i'm sorry I didn't tell you? Didn't want to be useless... they didn't need me.. I couldn't go back " he went silent listening to her as hope kindled if slightly but he was uncomfortable. "I'm with the twins and the ones caring for them.. I ...I don't think you should go" he muttered.

She waved a hand dismissively even if he didn't see it, "Not working too hard, as if I could do that.. I'm fine. I'm more concerned about you. Believe me, I'm going to give them an ear full after this." she paused. "Pain in my side, you mean Zaku?" she sighed with exasperation. "They haven't made any moves, though there are rumors that EE disbanded. I'm not holding my breath though." She was silent for a bit. "Why don't you want me to go? Is everything okay there? You sound like you don't even want to go back... I'd just take you with me directly.. but what of the twins..."

Tri frowned "No... the pain you were having after being hit by the prototype " he sighed as she moved back to the EE, ignoring the subject again. "They might not... Undine was taking over as I told you... and Zaku..." he frowned and sighed trying to gather his thoughts, knowing he was just blathering and he wasn't even out of these restraints or out of this place.

" He found me by accident while I was doing a job. Decided to stay near by and bother the hell out of me... but helped me get to Hexxis when she was in the hospital. " he said quietly over a long period of time. "So I told him about the twins. How Kae made them...and now he's taking care of them...... I didn''t have anyone else who could and they don't want me around, it is different than Hexxis and Ree....but you already know. " he said lifting his head, sounding guilty with more than a hint of panic. Not that he was afraid she would hit him but be disappointed, shouting angry was good but quiet angry...

"I'm sorry...so sorry. They killed Ame....but he was their other father...ame would understand?" he said sounding vulnerable for a moment.
" Sorry I ...don't feel alright... i'm talking to much" he muttered pulling at a hand as if he wanted to raise it to his face even while he was resting his forehead on her shoulder. "They will be okay...DH is watching him. He actually doesn't look like he has had contact with the Renegades in a while.."


She listened again, intrigued at the heap of information they would have missed had they not decided to do this. She narrowed her eyes as he spoke of recently have contact with Zaku. It looked like she didn't know what to say as she processed that information, look none too happy about it regardless.

She gave a disapproving sigh, "You didn't tell them any of this, did you? About Kae, the twins, and Zaku. That's going to be a load of mess to clean up if they catch wind of it. Especially if you told them where DH and the others are. Right now, I'm trying to make sure everyone stays safe. Everyone is trying to point fingers and I'd rather it be at the right people." She paused and frowned. "..ame." Shaking her head. "Don't sorry so much about it." She rested a hand behind his head as he rested his head on her shoulder, "So I guess the rumor about Zaku leaving is true...,still doesn't change what he did. But let's focus on getting you out safely and back home, then I'll blow up about him later." She commented, acting like she was holding back from getting angry about it right then and there. She withdrew slowly, reluctantly from him, coming to a stand. "It won't be long now, I'll make sure of it. I'll take you back with me when they release you." She frowned at him, standing there a moment to see if he said anything else.

"No...I didn't" he confirmed. "I kept it close tot he truth except where it dealt with ...family" he said with a pain look. He relaxed as she held him again and nodded automatically. "Okay.." he said softly. "Don't..get in trouble.." he muttered pulling back.

She smirked, "Asking me not to get in trouble is like asking me not to breathe..." she sighed and waved her hand again dismissively. "..but I'll try." she spoke seriously then exited the room.

He raised his head to look after her with a forlorn look before sighing and lowering his head as her sillouete became but to blurry, closing his eyes again.
