Static was grinning for ear horn to horn. Today he had plans with Hawkin, and they were meeting up at the skate park. Static brought his beat up old board, he was pretty bad at the sport, and so he preferred to make all his scuffing and general wear and tear of learning on an old board. Raijin floated behind the boy, electricity crackling down his fur coat. The lusus had plans that didn't involve playing, but Static chose to try and ignore them.
Since his powers had manifested, Raijin had actually taken notice of the blueblood troll. Sadly, not in the best way. The weasel enjoyed taunting other trolls, lusus, and random beasts in hopes of getting Static into a fight. Apparently he only saw worth in the blueblood if the troll was a fighter, and a good one. Static did his best to defuse the situation when it arose, and was happy to finally be in his friend's company. Company he hoped would not punch him in the face at the lightest of his lusus's taunts. "Hawk!" Static called, running to the courtyard.
Unaru Sorry this took so long to set up!

"Right on, right on," Hawk said, nodding along to the beats coming from his headphones as his pal jumped onto his board. The tealblood wasn't much to compare skills, he was more the type to encourage another trolls skills instead. Made more death defying sweet sick trick playing troll friends that way, right? Hawkin chuckled and shrugged his shoulders at the compliment. "Just hatched lucky I guess." As the two of them approached the park again, the bro-troll was happy to see Static take to the rail so quickly, remembering he had some trouble with it. Meanwhile, poor Papbeats had thought he'd just caught up to Hawkin when he skated back toward the park again. The poor lusus switched directions and stumbled his way back. "You got this bro! Show off that sick grind," Hawkin cheered as he watched the blueblood practice.

Static finished his move, and only teetered a few times, managing to catch his balance before he fell. The boy looked at his feet meekly for a second, glad his friend was cheering him on. Hawk was so cool and chill tho, Static felt like he was loud and reckless around his friend, and that was something he never really was. But, maybe that's why he liked Hawkin so much, someone he didn't have to hide from. "Hey, last week you said you were working on something. You gotta show me! Ive, uh, ive been looking forward to it!" Static looked at his feet again. He felt the second guesses coming up again. Should he admit to looking forward to time with a lowblood? Was Raijin in sight? His lusus would tell Static to challenge him friend, not complement him. Static frowned, muttering, "speak of the juggalo..." as his lusus sighted him and lazily made his way towards the two trolls. Static put more enthusiasm into his voice. "Show me the ways of the wheels!"

"Nice moves brah, you're totally getting the hang of it," the Tealblood commented with a thumbs up. Hawkin wasn't sure why his bro had such a difficult time trusting his own feet and balance. Static had been skating almost as long as he had; Hawkin figured his pal just got too much in his head. "Ah, you mean the 360 flip brah? Sure, I could show ya," the kid said with a shrug. He hadn't quite perfected it yet, but he managed to land at least half of the attempts he made so far. Doing another circle around Static and Papbeats who had finally caught up, Hawk picked up some speed and led into kicking off his board and flipping it a full 360 degrees in the air. The tealblood landed it, but one of his feet was off just a bit which caused him to hop, losing balance and ultimately jumping off his board before he had a dirt snack. "Landin' is still tricky..." he said, seemingly unphased by the demonstration. He retrieved his board just as he noticed Raijin show up. His pal's lusus did little to phase the troll on most occasions, after all, he barely listened to his own lusus.

Static happily watched his friend preform his trick. The blueblood could not help but move his body the same as Hawk did, trying to imitate the balance and moved the tealblood used. When the tealblood jumped up Static felt his own blood pumper jump up, excited. Static gasped, going from excited to worried in just a second as he watched his friend fumble. "Nice!!" The blueblood shouted as the tealblood managed to keep from falling over. "Well there's your one tumble for the night." Static said, teasing Hawk. The blueblood often noticed that Hawk only stumbled once a day when he was on his board. Or at least Static could only recall his friend ever stumbling at most once a night. He might have quite the pair of rosy colored glasses when it came to the tealblood. "That was-" Static started enthusiastically, but Raijin interrupted the boy with a disproving sneeze. "That was good." Raijin made a chii sound, and Static tried not to look at his own lusus, but did what the animal wanted anyway. "Uh, Raijin wants to know, if, uh, if you perfected that, uh, the grind thing." Static frowned, frustrated. His lusus was purposely bringing up a trick that the blueblood had failed last time.

Hawkin cast a quick glance at Static's lusus, not that it was very noticeable, considering the tealblood only had one good eye. There was something about his friend's lusus that had always rubbed him the wrong way. Maybe he was just lucky to have Papbeats, or maybe he was just too young to understand, but it sure seemed like Raijin cared more for prestige than Static's own well being, in Hawkin's opinion anyhow. "Yeah dude, grindings my jam. Especially when I tear up some fresh concrete," he said, grinning a bit. There was just something special about breaking up parts of the city for his own thrills that made the tealblood giddy. "I'm sicka grinding right now though," he shrugged, "Wanna practice some ollies or something?" Ollies were pretty easy, and something Hawk hoped his pal would be better at showing off his skills with.

Static grinned as his friend offered to help him out, but the grin quickly disappeared as Raijin chattered something, a spark of electricity jolting along the animal's thick fur body. Raijin was getting more and more hostile, and Static gave Hawkin and his lusus a glance, relieved that only he could hear the words his lusus was saying. Raijin squeaked something else, just as, if not more, aggressively, and Static panicked. His lusus was acting like he was going to start a fight, and Static looked around the crowded park, suddenly feeling the need to get out of there asap.
"I, uh, i have to take a raincheck on that!" Static managed, as he pushed his lusus back towards their hive. "It was nice seeing you tho, Hawkin!" Static shouted back as he tried his hardest to get his lusus to turn around and go home. The weasel had its eyes locked onto the tealblood's own lusus, and Static panicked. "Raijin, look!" The blueblood shouted to his lusus, letting a little jolt of electricity pool in his hand. Raijin loved to feed on Static's electric power, and the blueblood sighed with relief as his lusus finally pulled its eyes off his tealblood friend's lusus. With a sad wave Static left with his lusus, his head hanging down.
