Recovery was hard and Jade finally understood the restlessness Levi had experienced when he'd been quarantine and put on house arrest. Following the days after the incident, she'd spent most of it laying in the bed that was at her apartment at the complex Porsha owned.
Levi spent as much time as he could with her, but there was so much damage control that had to be done and he'd been stressed enough over his own absence. She understood that work was important and if she couldn't be doing things to keep the CEO and company occupied, someone needed to.
Either way, she was still sore with fractured ribs and bruising that went bone deep but she was now capable of moving around the apartment as long as she didn't do anything strenuous. Plus, she avoided filming, opting to tweet her followers with updates because her face was in no condition to be seen.
Besides, there'd been enough media coverage about the debacle and, quite frankly, Jade was keen to let things lie for a bit.
Today, she had left the warm comforts of her bed and moved to the couch to watch some trashy TV. She was sprawled across the length of the couch, arm resting on her belly as she idly flicked through the shows she'd been watching before while trying to settle on one.

In the days following the attack on Jade, Porsha had been found it very difficult to focus on anything else. She'd gotten Jade back, they'd killed the senshi that had been responsible, but the new captain had still been hurt, despite all Porsha's best efforts. It left the fighter feeling anxious and disappointed, and having to keep her distance from the other girl's apartment wasn't helping much. But she wasn't going to make matters worse by upping the tension around Levi. The man clearly cared for Jade, and his presence made the youtube star happy. Porsha's visits were either short and to the point, or when the other man wasn't available to keep Jade company. Like today. A foil covered casserole dish balanced on the palm of one hand, Porsha made her way down to Jade's apartment, and gave a quick knock before letting herself in. "Hey gorgeous, I brought you dinner." For the week. "Baked mac 'n cheese. Slate helped." The dish, along with the pot holder that'd been protecting her hand, were both placed on the island. Then she turned to lean against the counter, smiling, those incapable of hiding all the worry. "How are you feeling today?" They healed quickly, but Jade was still wearing the bruises she'd gotten from the senshi. No doubt her ribs still ached. Just looking at the other woman, knowing she hurt, was enough to make Porsha's throat tight.

Jade hadn't expected anyone to stop by and blinked those bright blue eyes of hers at the door when she tipped her face towards it. "Porsha," she greeted, voice thick and fond when she saw the purple haired woman. "How'd I get so lucky," she teased, swinging her legs off the couch as she tried to sit up.
It proved to be a terrible idea, body screaming in painful protest and she winced, grasping at her ribs and groaning, louder than she meant.
"I've definitely felt better, but it could've been worse." She had managed to sit up enough to sling her arm over the couch and lean into it, so she could look at Porsha with ease. "Is it cheesy if I ask you to try and kiss it better?" Jade couldn't help but ask, grin splitting her mouth easily as she flashed her pearly whites at the woman.
"It's killing me to be stuck inside but..." She heaved a sigh, pushed white locks of hair out of her eyes. "I don't want them to see me like this. It's been bad enough with all the comments and tweets."
Her feeds everywhere were blowing up and not in the good kind of way.

The look Jade received when she tried to sit up, only to hurt herself in the process, was equal parts concerned and disapproving. "If you cool your jets for a minute, I'll help you resituate yourself more comfortably." The last thing Porsha wanted was to in anyway cause Jade further harm or discomfort. She knew from personal experience just how awful broken ribs could be. Shaking her head, she crosses the room to lay a kiss on soft lips, thengrinned against them before drawing back. "Maybe a little, but I don't mind." Corny was fine. Another kiss, then she straightened to smile down at the blonde. "Are you hungry?"

Jade immediately gave Po the, I know, sorry, grimace when she was shot a scolding look. "I couldn't help myself, I've got a pretty face to look at," she tried, hoping that the flattery would help her out. To her delight, the woman crossed the room to stand close enough to be within kissing range and Jade pushed up into the kiss as much as she could.
"Good, cause I've got lots of things for you to kiss," she said boldly, reaching for the woman's shirt to draw her back down.
"I suppose I could eat," she answered after a moment of consideration. The food smell wonderful, but her appetite was likely fixed on something else. She shifted again, wincing slighlty as a stab of pain shuddered through her. "Recovery blows."

Flattery was seldom a wrong choice when dealing with Porsha, and she smiled, despite herself. "I'd be happy to help with with healing kiss theory. At the very least, it certainly wouldn't make things worst." At least, not if they didn't get carried away. Which, to be fair, was a legitimate concern. Po did exactly by into the whole sexual healing deal, but if the body was able and the will strong....well, she wasn't going to say no. With a hum the purple haired girl reached around Jade to grab a pillow, fluffing it up so she could slide it behind the blonde to offer some manner of support for her. "It does, but at least we heal a lot faster now." As agents of the Negaverse, they were not only harder to kill, but tended to bounce back quicker. The higher the power, the quicker the recovery. Po sat back once she was satisfied with her pillow arranging, but the smile slipped from her lips as she got a good look at Jade's face. Concern pulled at the corners of her lips, and she had to fight to keep the anger from her features. Not at Jade, never at her, but at the situation. At the senshi who had done this to her.. With a frown, the shorter girl reached up, very gingerly touching Jade's cheek with soft fingertips. The food could wait a moment.

"Y-yeah?" Jade asked, fighting to smile despite the shooting pain as she attempted to slide her hands around the other woman's neck. It wasn't as fruitful as she would have liked, because Porsha was busy trying to make her more comfortable, which was sweet but also horribly frustrating because she just wanted the woman to kiss her already. "I know, I'm okay," she sighed, thinking of how Levi had looked at her with a mix of concern and frustration.
A look not too unlike the way Porsha was looking now.
Immediately, Jade reached for the woman's face, smoothing her hands against soft cheeks and drew her down for a long and languid kiss. "Hey," she said gently, sliding her fingers into soft purple locks, "I'm okay. I'm alive and I'm here and you're with me," she mumbled, making sure to meet the other woman's gaze. "Let's focus on that and how starved I am for attention, kay?"

Pale eyes widened as Jade's hands found her cheeks and pulled her in, and for a split second she was too shocked to react to the warm press of lips. Though that shock didn't last. Her tongue slid in a warm brush against those lovely lips, and the hand that had lingered at Jade's cheek slide back to disappear in snowy waves. Echoing the gentle scrape of nails along her own scalp that left her shivering, goosebumps rising in a fast rush along her arms. When Jade drew back enough to speak it'd have Porsha blinking up at the blonde, and it wasn't the bruises she fixated on now. Now it was those lovely eyes, and the inviting curve on soft lips. She smiled, the bud of her thumb stroking along the edge of Jade's jaw, only to laugh a second later. "Oh no, we can't have that." Even if the other woman hadn't been hurt, there was just no way Porsha would leave one of her darlings so starved. Fingertips curling against the back of Jade's head would coax her in again, and Po would rise up to meet her, her free hand coming up to cup the pale curve of the other girl's cheek.

"Mmm, mmm," Jade agreed, enjoying the way Porsha arched up into her, hands sliding own the woman's side and trying to draw her into her lap. It wasn't the best idea and she really needed to avoid the weight but she was too touch starved think rationally.
"Don't deprive me," the woman teased, lashes fluttering from the feeling of nails along her scalp and she shivered in return. She knew that as long as she wasn't over extending herself, then Porsha would be inclined to give her what she wanted.
"We should...deal with other meal first, then have dinner." Jade mumbled, pressing into yet another kiss, hands sliding lower.beejoux can fin on your post with a fade out~

Porsha offered up a compromise to those greedy, insistent hands. She leaned forward, all too happy to give in to the demand, but she'd shift her legs to either side of Jade's thighs, holding herself over her. What she didn't want, was to cause Jade any unintentional pain. "No? I shouldn't, should I?" She grinned as she kept up that soft glide of nails through pale waves, turning her head to rub her cheek along Jade's cheek in an affectionate nuzzle before drawing back enough to grin at the taller girl. Their lips met, Jade's hands sliding lower, and Porsha melted into the kiss.
