itsie bitsie spider start number one for you, my preshu. <33
or at least... attempting to be. A few directions, easy enough for him to understood, were given to him to try and find his way once dropped off... but he had lost track of his caretaker, and was now a bit lost in the sea of other students. Using the small map he'd been equipped with, the little oddity toddled about, multiple tails swaying calmly behind him, as his numerous eyes flickered about to find what he was looking for. Maybe he should find his roommate first...? oh but... he was supposed to stay with his caretaker...
Such a dilemma... Finding himself a tad more overwhelmed than anticipated, he instead wandered into an open room that seemed to be a play room of sorts. Filled it was with cushions, bookcases with toys and literature, and other kids his age were about! this seemed like a good place to be. Padding in, he wore a somewhat nervous and shy smile, though... the looks he gained weren't all too inviting. He wasn't one self-conscious about his looks, since they were praised and nurtured back home, but... seeing so many new faces, all wide-eyed at him, that was something new.

 Between classes, Kabuto loved to enjoy taking a break in one of the many rooms the school had to offer for fun. He liked going to the library often -- reading up on different ways he could do many a thing -- but the chaos of a playroom enticed him so today. Being a hallowed didn't always lean toward the best of experiences around 'normal' kids, but hey... normal was in the eyes of the beholder anyways, and he had six!
Today, his activity of choice? Finger painting. Of course, for daddy's sake, Kabuto wore a smock as to not get the paints all over his pristine shirt -- not that it really mattered where they lived because mess and chaos were par for the course! -- but he did it for daddy all the same. Thoughtful little fella.
After a swipe here, and a squiggle there, the little guy was trying to decide if those were the finishing touches or more needed to be had, when he caught the sight of a somewhat lost looking kid. Raising his head, he noticed that upon further inspection, they had interesting eyes like he did! Beaming a smile, Kabuto waved and shouted to the kid without thought to the other kids around them. "Hey! Over here!"musicaloner7 sorry for the wait, boo! <333

His multitude of tails gently flicked and curled ever so slightly behind him, as he felt these various eyes--granted not all from a single individual-- locked onto him... watching him... oddly. It was so unnerving!
Nervous smile on his lips, still attempting to keep up a good first impression, his attention was immediately grabbed when a voice pipped up from the sea of silence. Large ears pricking, they swiveled in said direction, multiple eyes following towards the source too. It was then that he noticed his fellow hallow, instantly making his plethora of eyes widen with excitement, and relief, tails twitching merrily behind him as he strutted right on over.
Smoothing his sweater down as smooth as possible, wanting to look his best with this first meeting, he also wore his sweetest smile, sectioned mouth spreading across his face, "Hello there~ It's a pleasure to meet you~! I'm Susumu. What's your name?" he was absolutely delighted to see those extra eyes dawned on the other freshlings face, feeling instantly comfortable regardless of the stares that were boring in the back of his head. While there weren't many hallows back home, and him being one had been celebrated, it was a sense of kinship seeing a fellow youth just like him!

Kabuto was quite excited as the other hallowed kid made their way over to the table he was sitting and arting at. He wondered if the kid like finger painting too, and what they might make!
Then the quite polite introduction came! Such manners! Something the little guy wasn't very used to at home. He couldn't help an excitable giggle. "Hey Susumu! I'm Kabuto! It's nice to meet you!" It was easy to see that the little guy was eager to welcome his new friend, and he even scooted over to reveal a second chair close by. "I'm making a painting for mah dad. You wanna finger paint, too?"
Even though he was trying so hard to focus those six eyes of his on his fellow hallowed, the want and urge to add just another swipe of color in a particular spot beckoned him so. The little guy held up his finger and uttered a quick 'pardon me for a sec!' before dipping a clawed finger in a reddish purple and swiping it across the space. Yes yes... That would do nicely. "Hey Susu... What's your favorite color?~" he asked curiously, turning his multitude of eyes back to the other.

Kabuto~ he memorized the name, as he looked over the fellow freshling a little to really solidify it to his mind. Though he thought he may never be able to forget it, given the similarity they both shared! So exciting!
As the chair was so clearly offered, the hallowed kumiho twitched all 7 tails eagerly, a means of containing the true excitement he had bubbling up inside. Trotting around to get beside the seat, he flicked up his many tails to get them out of the way, before sitting down carefully. His posture was kept upright, back flat, tails curled neatly behind him, and dangling off the back of the chair. With the invitation given, he figured it was ok for him to see what the other youngster was up to. Peering at the artwork before Kabuto, his eyes widened with interest. Wow~
"Oh, I would love to, thank you~!" he chirped back happily, tails twitching again ever so slightly with joy. Painting was so fun! Ah but Kabuto was painting again, making him lean in closer, ears swiveling forward to watch the dedicated, and precise strokes given. So fascinated by just watching Kabuto working, he was somewhat delayed in reacting to the question, perking up suddenly, "Oh-! sorry! Favorite colour, hm?" his eyes looked up to the ceiling... down to the table... and off to the side, the one on on his forehead closing to express his pondering.
"well... I really like reds, pinks, and purples..." he replied, bashfully folding back his ears, with a gentle giggle, "But I guess that's more than one colour, huh?" it was so hard to pick!
