Tinaksite had begun to bring a notebook with her on her nightly outings, fully intent on writing down the foes she had vanquished. So far she had two names written in her book, blonde senshi and red headed ugly senshi. She needed more names, and honestly, she wanted to talk to the Pirate to see just how many senshi she had to get rid of in order to have the costume party…but she hadn’t seen the Pirate in ages…not since the fight she had lost so badly.

The lieutenant sighed and kicked her feet, looking out at the city from where she sat on the edge of a building.

If only there was a way to contact her Pirate...but sadly, if there was she didn’t know it…so she just sat there, hoping that he would just…turn up. Or hoping that another senshi would just turn up so she would have something to do tonight. Having nothing to do was a boring thing indeed…what if he was at the costume party? What if it had happened and she didn’t even know?

Ugh…that wasn’t a good thought at all…and her mind went right back to her pathetic list of names in her book…she would have to do better. She would do better.

Today was perhaps not a good day for Tinaksite to run into Jarosite. He aimlessly teleported around the city, rubbing his temples and pulling energy from random civilians to try to quiet the hunger in his head. It was never enough, never enough, and it began to wear on him. The hunger grew fast this time, far faster than before and Jarosite wondered if it knew his intent, his decision, and wished to snuff out the possibility before it happened.

The spider was awfully sentient these days...

He popped into existence on the roof top behind her, stumbling a few feet until he caught himself. Jarosite groaned, unaware of her presence at first and absorbed the pulsing orb of energy in his hand. It lessened the hunger for the moment, muddling it to a dull throb over his left eye. The world snapped back into focus, the lights and presences flaring into clarity.

He was not alone.

"... Oh..." - Her name was... Tina? Tinaka? Tinaksite, yes that was it! - "Tinaksite. It's been... a while. How goes it?" His youma Amp squawked from his shoulder - when had he gotten there - Jarosite sat down next to her, still a bit woozy and out of it.

It was almost as though fate was really on her side. When Tinaksite turned at the voice and the feeling of the General, she broke into a big grin when she saw who it was. “Pirate!” She jumped up, running her hands over the bottom of her uniform to remove the dust and bits of rooftop that stuck to the back of her legs and her outfit.

“It has been a while, Pirate, I am fighting the senshi like you said! I have beaten…”

The lieutenant paused for a moment, thinking. “Two? Three?I have beaten some. I have made them fear me! I am doing so good!”

She was beaming, though the grin faded slightly as she looked him over, a small frown taking its place. “Are you okay, Pirate? You look sick…or are you drunk?” Maybe that was what he looked like, regardless of what it was, he didn’t look good, and that was rather worrisome.

“Can I help you?”

Oh yes she can help you... just like all those agents helped the General-Queen...

Jarosite twitched and attempted to cover the movement by rubbing his neck. He listened quietly to her, chuckling at the small senshi fighting machine she'd created herself into. He didn't keep eyes on her long; it was hard to not zero in on her chest, where her starseed would be and fixate on it. Amp shifted on his shoulders, neck twisting to stare at Tinaksite. It's stare was almost hungry, and the youma squawked softly.

"I.... don't know if you can, honestly..." he said with a soft chuckle, gray eyes staring at the city below them. "You know you can consume the energy you gather, right? Well turns out... do that too much... and you get addicted to it." Slightly more complicated than that, but the gist anyway.

He laughed at her. She was expecting praise for everything she had been doing and instead he…laughed at her accomplishments. That was quite rude. Quite rude.

Tinaksites face pulled into a frown and she gave her General a very confused look, most of what he was saying wasn’t making a lick of sense to her…actually all of what she was saying wasn’t making sense.

“…Energy? Consume? What do you mean?” She had never really…fully taken in all that she was supposed to do as a lieutenant. She had never taken energy from someone, much less a starseed…and still didn’t realize that that was something that was expected of her.

All she really knew how to do was bluster and fight senshi to try and get invited to the costume party. Of all the things that Tinaksite was, a good officer was not one of those things.

“…Addicted?”

He rubbed a face over his eyes, smacking his youma out of the way as it loomed over him. He glanced at the beast and pointed in a direction for it to go. The youma growled and flapped off. Once the youma was out of his sight, he breathed a sigh of relief and felt... better? Weird.

"It's not widely talked about. We, as an organization, have the ability to consume the energy we harvest. Its like a shot of adrenaline. In small doses its fine. In large quantities..." he trailed off, rolling a shoulder. Huh, it really was easier to think. Maybe the youma was being oppressive?

"It can warp you, change you. Like a drug, you can get addicted to it. Don't recommend it, honestly." He gave her a grin, an actual grin that wasn't weird or awkward.

'That said, I'm glad you're out fighting the fight. Taken well to it, it looks like. I'm proud." Jarosite ruffled her hair gently. "Sorry if I've not been around... it's been a hard few months."

Tinaksite watched as the youma left, tilting her head to the side slightly. What a strange creature. She listened as Jarosite spoke, but there were a lot of words coming from his mouth and her mind never felt like translating English. Never.

So she nodded and forced her face into a serious expression. Drugs. Drugs were bad. Addiction was bad…he was proud!

The lieutenant’s nose wrinkled when he touched her hair, but she let out a smile a moment later. “You are fine, Pirate. You are fine. I am doing fine!” Tinaksite reached up and patted Jarosite’s hair, wanting to return the favor.

“We will fight together one day. Yes? You and I will get rid of the senshi! We will go to the party soon, Pirate.” Because that was the goal. The party. It would be grand, she often thought about it. A world without senshi…with…lots of waffles.

Of course, that part of the thought was absolutely due to Mags, and…that was okay.

Jarosite raised a brow at her at the mention of a 'party', only mildly confused. It might be a party in the end... maybe? He chuckled and nodded, deciding to just avoid that topic for now.

"One day, perhaps. We will go to the party and have a lovely time and the senshi are not invited," he said, scratching his neck absently. "But if I cannot come to the party, do have fun for me."

It was, starting to look like he'd miss the party, but that was okay. It was more Tinaksite, anyway.

Tinaksite nodded, seeming pleased with his answer. “All right. That is sufficient for now, but I will make you proud, Pirate. I will make them all proud.”

She stood a little straighter, and grinned. “For now though, I have some things to buy, you have a good night.”

The notebook was in her hands and she clutched it tightly, giving a wave and walking off. Well. He was somewhat proud, and that was something. Later, she would do her best to make sure he knew she was doing her best. After all, she was his.

Nothing could change that.
